626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Help needed on mining and understanding (Im New!) on: November 16, 2016, 01:38:45 AM
Hi.

I need some help on mining and understanding the pool's readout.

I'm currently using Claymore on the Nicehash Zcash pool, but if there's something with better profit, then I'll gladly change.

Facebook/Skype chat preffered for fast communication.

Skype: Monberg75

Hope to hear from someone.

You can bet, when someone tell you in this thread, that some coin is more profitable then other, you can make sure in a day, it's whole profit gone. So don't be naive. And don't expect that someone will cut his profits just because, you're hoping, begging, or whatever...
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining rig on: November 16, 2016, 01:14:46 AM
I was mining ZEC solo, just for fun with Dual Xeon L5640
And the best hashrate I was able to achive with tromp solver was 15 Sol/s
If you have server like this, its better to run a pool, or something similar.
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VRM] Verium PoWT Variable Blocktime | CPU mining | scrypt² | Commodity on: November 16, 2016, 12:19:30 AM
@testbug

Have you got any recommended hashrates for static ports?

As far as i can say, miners with a hashrate below 3000 h/m are most likely always on lowerst vardiff settings.
If you have multiple machines mineing on a single worker or a very big miner the fixed difficulties are good. There is someone with a single worker, hashing on vardiff 0.6 and higher.
I think that miners below 3000 h/m should go on vardiff, because difficulty is a bit lower than on smallest fixed port with 0.02 diff.
About 75% of all miners are running on vardiff settings.
If anyone needs a bigger difficulty please PM me, ill open it for you then.

Thank you very much for explanation.
I was asking because strange thing happened to me,
on vardiff (port 4444) with 3500h/m (ubuntu) and 1000h/m (W7) it stopped hashing after five minutes, or so.
Every miner has it's own worker.
But now with port 4447 it's hashing for 24hrs without any problems.

631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AEON 2nd gen cryptonote, anon, mobile-friendly, scalable, pruning on: November 15, 2016, 03:16:23 AM
AEON FOR THE FUTURE - kidding?

Just downloaded last version of AEON daemon and started it.

Bloody shame, it still use 6G of RAM while blockachain size 3.5G itself Sad
It's way to hell dude, not to future.

Last XMR, BCN, XDN and FCN consume 1-2 G of RAM all together.

The pruning version runs pretty easily in 2 GB and I've been told people have used it in 1 GB.

Less memory usage is coming.

When it's coming? Do you have some eta?
632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU-Z/WattTool do not show values without Monitor on: November 14, 2016, 11:29:29 PM
What do you think, can I use HDMI switch too?
Something like this.

Because I'd like to connect all outputs to one monitor, with sensors supported.
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: limits of ZEC mining on: November 14, 2016, 11:23:42 PM
Do you think, you can start developing miners for Nvidia?
There is a lack of skilled and honest developers.

Colleagues, how to use, and that means "View miner console" ?

I see question mark, so I think this is question. But it doesn't make sense at all...
638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: PASCAL COIN + ACCOUNT TRADING THREAD on: November 09, 2016, 09:33:07 AM
I'm retracting my previous offers. Basically had like half a dozen people PM me and they all were playing games. And with these accounts getting hacked left and right, I think its best to wait until it hits a legit exchange and just sell it on their.

With the RPC done it should be any day now.

Can you, tell us, who exactly was playing games with you?
Would like to avoid of those scam basterds.
cheers

1070 can do 45-48 on linux with this https://github.com/zcminer-dev/zcminer

strange, I have ~24sols per 1070 with it...

"For me it is working... but very few Sols/s with a 1070... starting in 2-3 and increasing progressively till 20-25 after 5-10 min. I cannot see those 50Sols/s "
