621  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: December 02, 2016, 03:13:04 AM
I think we are barely scratching the surface in terms of bitcoin's potential, not just as a form of investment, but also its function as a currency. The mere fact that it has a lot of room growth is a good measure of it as a good kind of investment. And we must note that the price from a few months ago was at $500 (and lower) and now we are looking to go past $800.
We are not taking the possibility that the price will go higher than $800, it could even rise up to $1,000 if the price increase will continue. Bitcoin has been surprising us in the past that it can make the price increase abruptly which was not done by a similar crypto currency. Bottom line, it's good as it's profitable.
622  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: December 01, 2016, 07:43:15 AM
The price really matters to attract a lot of users. Just take the example that when it reached 1k USD once, a lot of people got attracted towards it as an investment source because media hyped this hard, and it is again the time bitcoin is to reach there once again.
The price is important, but I believe the main reason is other than hype. The price is important because miners, who support the network, need to be paid.
As the network expands to more users, more mining power is required, and a rise in the price is an incentive for miners to expand mining operations.
Well, the price is also not exist in a vacuum and needs something to lean and not to the price of mining. If the demand will be all right and the price will be all right, but about that the reserves are still there.

cryptocurrency price depends not only on the hardware on which it is extracted. It also depends on several factors. For me the price of cryptocurrency is very important, because I trade cryptocurrency

Of course it is important and we are not all here if the price of bitcoin or other alt coins are not important to us. It does really matter and that's why we are working hard for it because we know that it can give us support for the things that we need to do that requires monetary value with it. So bitcoins price do really matters if its not, then we'll totally ignore this.
No doubt about this, all the bitcoin users are depending on the price of bitcoin, if the price of bitcoin increases people taking more  and more interest  but if it felling down then people want to get rid from it, and therefore they start selling, as in previous days after bitfinex issue we saw that people were busy in panic selling as they were thinking that the price is going too low. But luckly it stayed at $500 price levels itself.
What's necessary here is people should not lose it's trust and confidence with bitcoin. They are vital for the continuing success of bitcoin and us supporters must do our job of promoting bitcoin to the highest level so more people will know it and they will eventually adopt.

Who stays behind central banks? What is your opinion?

Please do elaborate further what you are trying to imply here. I don't get what's exactly you are trying to say. Sorry!
624  Economy / Economics / Re: The Future of Money? on: December 01, 2016, 07:29:49 AM
Fiat money is always exist even in the future since this is government regulated currency but we do not know if the digital currency would be exist in the next 20 - 30 years from now.

Digital currency would surely exist, but we cannot know if that will be bitcoin or something else, because we all know that governments wont accept bitcoin or any other crypto currency that are anonymous or not controllable so they might make their own and then use them in place of fiat in future.
Yes, digital currency is the need of the day, and we cannot deny that fact, but I think not a single currency replace bitcoin, even if it is created by the government, as it will be a regional and centralized currency while bitcoin is decentralize crypto currency, therefore the status of bitcoin will remain the same and is not going to decrease.
how you can say that digital currency are a needs now while there is more than 60% people around the world are out of network and blind technology? it is required at least another 500 years for people to accept it.

from now to 500 years ahead i guess fiat / paper money will remain used as primary currency.
By still waiting for 500 years, I guess bitcoin is not really possible to become the future of money, it's still the money but would not dominate the world as the mainstream currency, it's hard to understand why people are too positive that it would happen when it's not justified anymore.
625  Economy / Economics / Re: The Illuminati thinks Bitcoin is better than gold on: December 01, 2016, 07:20:56 AM
This seems new, does it make bitcoin successful when they back it as most precious than gold?
626  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: December 01, 2016, 06:40:36 AM
is bitcoin more popular than US Dollar ?
No.

The market of bitcoin is smaller than USD.

Most of the economy was based on the rate of US dollar.

Yet, as time goes buy bitcoin can be more popular than USD.
As bitcoin uses as decentralized currency.

No question about that, we have witness already how big the population of USD users compared to bitcoin although it's a universal currency as we call it. We must live with the reality that it cannot happen, we have our freedom to use bitcoin but it will always remain as an alternative currency.
627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: December 01, 2016, 06:23:53 AM
I have noticed so many players are just gambling for the sake of profits only. But majority of them loses most of the games eventually as they are not smart players.

So how should we gamble in a smart way so that we do not get more frustrations due to continuous losses?

There is very few if any 'smart gamblers' the vast majority are not very bright to say the least thinking tehy will beat the house and take its money. So how should you gamble? Simple answer, you shouldn't.
as we are in gambling world already so let's not talking nonsense about to not to gamble as the smartest action. gambling for several people considered as a bad habit , a bad activity and shouldn't even be approached at all.

just gamble responsibly , and you will looks smart , believe me.

I like what you said, just being a responsible gambler will make you smart already. And since you know the risk that you are talking, you are very familiar on how does gambling goes in the cycle especially for the money that you are gambling. Just play what you afford to lose and you will be smart enough already with it.
Exactly, because  it's one of the definite quality of a smart gambler. And smart gambler as well are very open minded, he understand the losing and winning in gambling which others failed to accept, we are just here for fun since it's not easy to win and we might be frustrate overtime.
628  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many times have you've been scammed? on: December 01, 2016, 06:00:54 AM
In my early days here in bitcoin world, I was scammed many time as all of the HYIP I joined scammed me resulting to overall loses of quite a big amount for me. I don't remember exactly how much I lose but one thing I have proven is that never trust on investment with HYIP.
629  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: December 01, 2016, 05:47:04 AM
When at work it was such an agreement when the team every month payday thrown off by the agreed amount each month and gave another member of the team at a time. In order that gave it a trifle, but the one who received it from every little thing going to a large sum. This is one way that the buy.

Yes, I've heard of such associations. This can really help in a difficult situation. But not everywhere is there - not at all on the friendly staff.
If I need money, I appeal to my parents, who are always ready to help.

I don't even have the guts to ask some associations or my friends for asking some money. I trust more of my parents and my siblings when I'm desperately in need for money. And it is better to go to them because when at the times of need we are the ones who are helping each other and it is not even an hard thing for them to lend me in the times of my need.
if you are trusted enough here in this forum you may can ask for loan with valid collateral and enough to cover the loan , i have experience make a loan in lending section in this forum for once when i really need money that time and payback smoothly.

but honestly i will avoid go for loan , better to have nothing in my pocket instead have a debt.
Trust is important but how big a lender will trust you, that will reflect on the amount of money he/she can lend you. It does not make sense if you are really looking for a bigger loan to solve your problem. But somehow, you can still consider it as a little help as you can borrow from others as well.
630  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: December 01, 2016, 05:41:35 AM
In one of the topics I read "If bitcoin will reach $10.000, fiat currency has become worthless"
Do you agree with this statement?
Nah, this will not really happen that fiat  become worthless. So if dollar is worth nothing that day then how can bitcoin have value if there's no US dollar. Bitcoin will become the main digital currency in the internet (because actually I don't like paypal). So don't assume that fiat will become worthless because not all people in the world can use bitcoin. But its really possible that it can reach the amount of 10,000 USD someday.
I do like to see the price increase that much in the future as I will be able to benefit from it. However, thinking that the price will be worthless is not gonna happen, we are still under the power of the government and in one instance we will all be gone.
631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: December 01, 2016, 05:27:18 AM
Whatever the reason is as long as you enjoy playin it its worthy. Playing for fun or profit is not the thing maybe it is the motivation at first when you decide to play it that day  but. The effort and time we use that matters . There were times I played without even noticing the time I consume roling or betting the emotions I feel everytime i played is quite unexpected. Therefore maybe its for fun or for profit also but it doesnt matter. I just played and spend only amount that I knew iwill not regret that I stake.

I agree, even if its for profit or fun you should just be enjoying the money you are gambling. Because if you lose then who you would blame? No other than yourself because you are responsible what will be the result of the money you gamble. But of course if you win, then the credits will be to you because you are the one who is risking your money.
Although it's hard to enjoy when you are losing but we have to, otherwise there's no reason for us to gamble anymore when mostly the outcome is negative than positive. We must learn how to see gambling as a fun game so we will be doing it and will enjoy while in the session.

When that worst case scenario happens, then we don't have choice but just to enjoy the remaining chances or money you have.

It is not bad to enjoy while you are losing and you are just making yourself be out of that stress that losing can give you.

But that is going to be make you feel broke if your reason for gambling is to have fun but it the end you failed.
Not everyone has that kind of open mindedness, some were really upset when they lose money in gambling. It's basically one of the problem as a gambler as in our journey to chase for our dreams, it's giving us more problem in the end.
632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: December 01, 2016, 04:35:29 AM
I really like the Wizards tonight to cover the +6.5 spread, it has move out from +5.5 to now +6.5 against a team that is inconsistent. Favorites riding a 3 game winning streak when squaring off against a non-conference opponent (Thunders situation entering this contest) are just 43.3% against the spread over the past 10 years. I also like the Celtics money line.
It's a good bet IMO. OKC are good but not too consistent, the line seems very good for all of us Wizard backers, they can even with straight up so the moneyline could be a great bet as well.

Seems decent one and has a chance. As of Im writing this, the score was 89-86 in favor for Washington Wizards. But what I see is, if the Thunders able to maintain the phase of having control in the perimeter plus the fact that they have a stronghold at the baseline (considering the first half defense line) they will likely erase the point spread given to the Wizards.

Last quarter of the game now and the game is really close. Chance of hitting Wizards line is 60%.
The game went to OT and fans are so happy with this, OKC does not want to let this game to be ever easy at their home. They have a chance to prove and fight for the win in the OT, regardless of the outcome I'm happy to see how the game goes.

The Wizards played great tonight but were easily beaten in OT by 11 points which lost me my bet on the Wizards to cover the +6.5 spread which they did well for 4 quarters. Normally when a game goes into OT it's close and very rarely the team wins by double figures but it would have to happen tonight when I have a bet on the Wizards to cover the spread lol I'm having a bad couple of days on the NBA.
That's normal, they're competing with each other, OKC were just energize by the crowd since they are playing at home. OKC is streaking now, good for them and looks like they are back on track again. The triple double machine WB just did his thing once again.
633  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: December 01, 2016, 04:27:09 AM
As per my experience and knowledge, i will invest my money in bitcoins. its very safe and secure as well as very beneficial for a long term investment.

So what's the strategy you are going to implement with your own investment? We all know that bitcoin is secure but it is not assured about the safety because it is an online investment where there are a lot of eyes that are monitoring each transactions that we made. For me, the best strategy is nothing but to hold what you have.
The strategy is very simple as according to him, he will just hold bitcoins as his long term investment. With that kind of investment style, you do not have to exert a lot of effort to be successful as what you need is just to be realistic and put your faith with bitcoin.
It's simple but not easy, holding bitcoins requires an investor to have a big patience as in any time the price may dump and you will be tested if you can handle the stress in investing, when your faith is not strong enough you will do panic selling which will end up your investment journey at a very early stage.
634  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Paypal a scam? on: December 01, 2016, 03:52:05 AM
They can be viewed as a scam company by some people because those are the ones that have lost money from selling bitcoin and can not prove other wise so they can have their money released back to them.
But if you an honest person that have all valid information on your account then you should not have any accusations against them as being a company that scams their customers out of their money.
The sayings are real, you cannot please everyone but in overall paypal has serve many years for people who uses online transaction. They serve from different industries like the online shoppers and most especially the freelancers.
635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: December 01, 2016, 03:38:30 AM
No there is not a safe way to gamble. That is why you are gambling! Gambling has a very high risk but also a high return. Exposing yourself to a high risk means that it is not safe. But similar to what others are saying here, cheating the system would make it safe. Though, the casinos are investing significant amounts of their earnings to secure their gambling operations against cheaters. So cheating the system is out of the question, unless you are a real good programmer. But then again, if you were, you should just create something like Uber and earn billions of dollars a year.
I mean that gambling is a lot about having fun as well. And if you cheated and just kept winning, would you still enjoy that?

Of course that's a different thing if you are cheating the game but I guess you can't do that anyway. I know that gambling sites have high securities that are able to determine who are the gamblers that are cheating to their system. And we can't deny that there are people who are just for profit and not for fun there are the ones who will mostly enjoy it.
Definitely, gambling business is very profitable if properly operated and one of the big risks that every operator should know is the hacking or cheating from anyone who thinks of doing it, it has been noted in the past so basically they're making adjustment to strengthen the measures to fight that kind of risk.

Yes, and I guess if they are thinking for those lucky players who will luckily get the jackpot maybe very small percentage because of their system for sure is always in their favor. And I think they have some bounty also for those people who will find some bugs and flaws that will able for their site to be cheated and abused.

The big difference here is, gambling sites make their games base on math while gambler decide to gamble base on luck, in any angle you will look at, gamblers will never gonna win against the house. House does not cheat as they take care so much of their reputation but we lose because they have the advantage.
636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: December 01, 2016, 03:26:58 AM
Banning of bitcoin by many countries because they want to do full control of currency in circulation so that it could determine economic policy. A simple example is the determination of the interest rates the bank of great impact for the economy.
Most likely that's the main reason why some countries are banning bitcoin because they cannot make income with the transaction as it's not taxable and not transparent enough in their eyes, let's just hope it will not happen as I believe we can get more benefits with using bitcoin that fiat in transaction.
637  Economy / Economics / Re: Will governments create their own cryptocurrency that will replace fiat? on: December 01, 2016, 03:17:26 AM
In the next 100 years, do you think Governments will create their own cryptocurrency or digital currency that will replace fiat currency, i.e. coins, paper money, the paper dollar,  etc.?

If it does happen, will it be like bitcoin or will it still represent gold like how today's money works?

No and it will not happen as purpose to replace fiat. They will create a crypto but fiat will still be dominant.

It's not as easy as to think that the whole world will embrace the cryptocurrency. There will be lots of major problems that will encountered. 100 years is not enough as trial period to learn all the risk if the whole world will used cryptocurrency. If only one country will do that, expect that it will not be bloom. It is just an option but not to replace the fiat as a whole.
Crypto currencies will only be use for online transactions while the masses cannot adopt with this, it's not easy for them as they are comfortable in using fiat than crypto. With the current situation we cannot live with only our crypto currencies at hand, no major businesses that accepts crypto which I believe necessary for us to buy our wants and needs to survive.
638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe that win in gambling is depending on your luck ? on: December 01, 2016, 02:57:34 AM
There's always luck involved-sometimes less, sometimes more but luck always plays its role. What you can do is increase your chances of winning in cases of sports betting or poker for example where what you do actually matters whereas in dice or lottery all there is is luck and in these cases it defines the outcome. So I believe that luck is always involved in the game and you have to rely on that.

That is certainly true. But luck is not something that we can enjoy at any time. Because luck will only appear at certain times and maybe if luck came we just get a little victory of whopping and much (huge losses). In gambling do not expect better luck, because it just makes us wrong focus and ended up just getting a major defeat without getting what we dream of or desire

And we don't have assurance when luck will come to us. So, if you think that you are lucky for that day, then take the whole advantage of it.

Gamble all the way but when you think that luck is already gone and it is all giving you now a losing streak, then you are not lucky anymore.

Simple and easy to understand, I don't know why there are some many who are really addicted and doesn't stop when on a losing streak.
If that's the case then simply don't rely on luck. Have your own method to win in gambling and learn to enjoy it as it supposed to be seen like that.

640  Economy / Economics / Re: The Future of Money? on: November 30, 2016, 01:04:45 PM
Fiat money is always exist even in the future since this is government regulated currency but we do not know if the digital currency would be exist in the next 20 - 30 years from now.
It's true, though we are in the technology world there are still people who prefer to use the old money that we are currently using now. It's pretty simple because we do not need to have an internet to be able to transact. While digital currency will be the new trend but only for those people who are constantly using online transaction.
