621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is blockchain gambling business beneficial? on: June 12, 2019, 04:01:32 PM
Im slightly confused on this one  . based on what i read on the title you are dealing about blockchain business , which i think you are going to come up with your own business and your asking for suggestion but after i read the contents of your thread , i see that your asking if playing a gambling is profitable or not  .

but to answer your queries id say that yes , gambling business is verry profitable or beneficial because every people plays gambling but for the player i think its not really that beneficial  .
"every people play gambling"! I seriously disagree with this fact and I think those that play gambling are not up to 60% of the world populace. Blockchain gambling has stimulate more players in gambling industry and that is really a new business to the smart guys. Many investors are now in gambling business because of blockchain technology and more business on this are been open every days.
622  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why does your Country suck? on: June 12, 2019, 03:17:51 PM
Reading this thread I feel like crying. The oppression by the political and financial elites is the same all over the world and most time I am tempted to thing if something is seriously affecting human relationships that we did not know. I think, there is a serious conspiracy against the poor and the weak one in our society!
623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The longer you play poker the better you become ? on: June 12, 2019, 12:25:55 PM
Well, there's a saying that "practice makes perfect." So I guess, your practice or experience plays its essential part in gambling. We can say that luck also has its vital role in gambling like poker but from what I've read before, there are also techniques that can be used or taken into account so that one may increase his chances of winning and not depending on luck alone. So it's possible that "the longer you play poker, the better you become" since as time goes by, considering that you would analyse your every game, then you will be able to identify what could work and what couldn't.
Before we can develop skills for anything we must gotten experienced and practice for a very long time. Skills in winning is not easily form! Poker, though, gambling also need  for you to actually experience every aspect of it before you can play successfully.
624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Want to quit? Here's how on: June 12, 2019, 09:24:11 AM
I think these tips are really helpful, but they can't help me quit gambling in the best way. If you are a person who has a lot of free time, trying not to think about gambling is impossible, so many people will relapse and continue to gamble again. The best way to get rid of this addiction, try to fit in your free time. This makes you busy and doesn't think about it.
Try something new that can allocate your time instead of gambling, you will be excited to do that new activity that you are exploring.

Just like unwinding, maybe this will the best way to work for you.

That is one way of attacking your gambling problem. Look for other activities that might be of interest to you. Self-discipline is your one major enemy. A lot fail in that simple mantra. But yeah, it really takes a lot of hard work to accomplish your mission especially quitting from your previous way of life.
People create problems for themselves by not in control of what they do! Most people are been drived by other people ideas and that is why they are addicted to gambling. If your addiction to gambling bring you money I think it is a good addiction but if it makes you to lose money and be in debt then it is a bad one.
625  Other / Off-topic / Re: Time Wasting at Funerals: Why? on: June 12, 2019, 08:59:42 AM
I don't understand the concept of mourners/bereaved family members being made to shovel sand into a grave before it is covered once a deceased is lowered into it.

What the heck is that?

Some say it is a reminder that man is from dust and will ever return to dust. Don't we all know that. Do we really need that kind of reminder? I guess not.

People already know all that, except kids and funerals aren't meant for kids. But then, man has always looked for ways to glamourise even the ugliest of opportunities at funerals.

Also, I am of the opinion that sermons and preachings at funerals are time wasting. Yes! It's unnecessary time wasting because no amount of preaching during funerals has ever converted anyone. People are just after the food and drinks. Nothing more!

What do you guys think?
This are culture that has been layed down by our ancestors and though it is not necessary, but been a reminder, it is good we should keep doing them. This brings repentant to our soul. Reminding us that one day people will gather to mourn our own death too. It is good that we should know that everything we do on this earth, we learn it here on earth and since this do not harm anyone I think it is good.
626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC procedure in online casinos does more good than bad or the other way around? on: June 12, 2019, 08:12:54 AM
I preferred kyc should be enable in all casino sites and that will bring confidence to both players and casinos sites owner. We have laws in many countries that support kyc and it is better for casinos sites to keep those laws in other to remain in business. I am not going to be against kyc also as a player because I don't want to start hearing stories when I desired to cash out.
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Zcash to BTC on: June 12, 2019, 07:04:26 AM
For us to believe that what you are saying is true, you are to make a long term review of the price of zcash and bitcoin and interpret there relationships since you said from "inception". I don't think something stable has happened between zcash and bitcoin in a long-term and we should not use short term to forms trading decisions.
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the altcoin bull started on: June 11, 2019, 08:31:53 PM
This is still not an altcoin bullrun. Only few single coins have good grow. We will have bullrun when everything will be in green. Hope this happens soon...
I do not think altcoins bull run has commence and it might not happen the way we see in 2017. Most of the altcoins that do well in 2017 are performing badly at the moment and I do think that some of them may not recover as others coins has taken over them in term of market share and popularity. I have been trading in this market and I strongly believe that few of them are about to recover and some of them are dying.
629  Economy / Speculation / Re: Billionaire wants to buy 25% of the bitcoin supply on: June 11, 2019, 08:07:27 PM
@WinslowIII. This might be mentioned before, however bitcoin's economy can also become a stagnant oblivion if the holders continue to hold all of their coins without spending them.
All the holders will not hold their coins at the same time and it is not possible for that to happen but if majority are holding there is no way it will not grow. Remember that whenever we sell bitcoin, fund is flowing out of it but when we hold most time, fund will be flowing into it. The reality is that, if we keep holding till when big buyers come into the market we would be able to sell to them at the high price.
630  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: do technical actually work on: June 11, 2019, 07:35:45 PM
Those investing into a coins using technical indicators to analyze the market before investing should also have some knowledge on fundamental analysis' principles. A bird cannot fly with one wing and that is how it is in trading because technical analysis is not enough to make you, make successful trading and to some extent that is why many investors and traders used both.
631  Economy / Economics / Re: Looking at Bitcoin's price increase via YEARLY LOWS on: June 11, 2019, 07:00:33 PM
Yearly lows are increasing while people only look to the yearly highs. I don't care what people say and mocks most of us here about it that 2018 hasn't been a profitable year.
All they look to the highs but if they sum up and look also to the other side, we're going up and what's more exciting? what's going to be the all time low for the next years to come?
The truth is that it does not matter what metric you are using to measure the growth of bitcoin all of those metrics give the same result, which is that the price of bitcoin is going up, the demand is increasing and its utility will increase many times once we can make transactions and get confirmations immediately thanks to the lightning network and if you add that the most important fiat currencies of the world are printed by governments that are heavily indebted then you can clearly see that this will lead to even higher prices during the next decades.
From inception till now we can all agree that bitcoin has been growing and remains bullish. It is very hard to find an asset that has given great returned to it investors like bitcoin this time and I think the future is going to be far better than were we are right now. Those saying bitcoin is death because of the last year bearish trend do not know that over all, bitcoin is better now than were it started.
632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you hold a bag of useless illiquid tokens like me? on: June 11, 2019, 06:37:28 PM
I am holding a bag of useless illiquid tokens. So do millions of other people in our community. We must do something about it! So I decided to Pick up the gauntlet. I’m having meetings with projects leaders, big companies, and trading platform, trying to find the best solution for all of us. Would love to hear your situation, thoughts, and ideas.
I don't really understand what you mean by illiquid tokens but I have many coins in myetherwallet that are really not good for me and some of them are in hundred of thousand and actually there are not having any values. I don't know if that is what you called illiquid tokens! I don't know how you intended to help though!
633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Provably fair slots exist? on: June 11, 2019, 06:02:29 PM
How if you don't think about provably fair slots and only enjoy the game? I think that will better than you search a gambling site that claims it's provably fair, but I think every gambling site will say that they are provably fair. We don't know if they really have provably fair or not and that is not the important thing because as long as we can win the games and get the money, we will not bother to think that.
you have said the plain truth and to be sincere with you no site will said there are not fair in slots. It is better op remain with fortune Jack because he is not sure if there are fair or not! I do believe with experience he would come into conclusions about them.
634  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Support for the movement against mutilation of a baby girl on: June 11, 2019, 07:26:28 AM
It is a sad thing and I don’t know why some cultures still allow this to happen. I know a lady that was mutilated when she was young and she is now married and currently having serious problems with the husband because of it! I will join this and support this movement. It is not only in western world that this is happening but all over the world.
635  Other / Off-topic / Re: Don't know what to do with my boring $260 paypal. on: June 11, 2019, 06:56:08 AM
What's hard about withdrawing money from paypal? Are you North Korean?
I think heis either from those countries that PayPal is not accepted or in used and he is afraid of uploading his documents or doing kyc. I did not see what is hard there simple download your documents and all the $260 will be your or trying and read PayPal terms and conditions if you are afraid. PayPal is good and it will still remain one of the best online payments procession.
636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i start a game here in the forum? on: June 11, 2019, 06:36:35 AM
Trust me, a lot of game makers did it here and it will be also interesting for gamblers here if it will be a new kind of game.
I can't determine this as a new kind game, but why not using the forum to manage the game using different forum tools (escrows, feedbacks, transparency, ...) .
Would you please tell us some of the example you know about those game makers who started their careers here in the forum? In fact, I didn't succeed find anything interesting but that dead project of mice race. Thanks in advance.
This is one of the recommendation op was asking of. You should open or create your own sites to run the game and create your customers services here as others has done. I also do believe that it will not go well with you running the game here as we have people that may not have good in mind concerning your success and may try to bring you and your reputations down.
637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty campain with ETH or BTC payment ? on: June 10, 2019, 08:01:26 PM
Now it is very difficult to find a bounty company that will pay in ETH,BTC, I would say it is even impossible to find, all bounty projects are paid in their tokens as they do not have funds at the initial stage.
Things has really changed and in 2017 we have ico that are been promoted through payments of bitcoin and ethereum but now there is no single one that are into that. Almost all of them are looking for funds to financial their projects and it should be made mandatory for icos to pay bounty hunter in bitcoin or ethereum and this should be seen as a sign of reliable projects.
638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Provably fair dice - real or bulshit ? on: June 10, 2019, 07:31:40 PM
What "fair" refers to, is that you when you win you actually win, and they don't tamper with the odds. Not that they have "fair odds". That's why if you bet at 2x, you have a 49.5% chance of winning, not a 50% chance. That's how they make their money.

Exactly, I think most gamblers misunderstood it to be like that, most of betting sites is provably fair but doesn’t mean they have fair odds, besides they create it to make money this will ensure that the odds is always on their side.
It is business and if you keep losing there is no way you will remain in it. I have been following some gambling sites and see that to some extent there are fair to the players and that is what matter. You should know that as a gambler you must lose money and some time make money because that is what keeps the business going.
639  Economy / Speculation / Re: after only a few days the bitcoin has gone up, but now it's starting to fall aga on: June 10, 2019, 06:15:53 PM
It's not bad to have a small reversal for just a week or so, it just means that people can buyback again after they sell their Bitcoin to a high price. I hope you understand what the market's been doing. It won't keep growing if all of the people are selling someone must have to buy too, in order to move the supply and demand of the market.
Because of how some people understand the market they always feared or panic whenever some traders tried to take profits from gained in a bullish trends. One thing we should know is that it must happen and traders must take profits and that means we should remove this panicking from our mind and focus on a long term view.
Like now that we are having up and down in bitcoin pricing it is better we should understand that bitcoin is resetting for the next bull run and if that did not come up then expect serious dumping.
640  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which bitcoin trading platform is easy and reliable on: June 10, 2019, 04:44:21 PM
There are lots of trading platforms, for example like bittrex and binance and I suggest you use binance, because binance is the best exchanger at the moment
You are right that there are a lot of trading exchange for crypto currency you may use you local crypto trading site if there is any reputed one on your country; you may see the list of the reputed exchange site from https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/
The local exchange are more easy to understand and a bit reliable to me. I have been using https://remitano.com  for sometime now because this is one of local cryptocurrencies exchange we have in my country and since our government know about them I think it is safe for me. Another international exchange that I do trade through is poloniex and that is because of how simple the exchange platform is and trust it has over time.
