6201  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best ways to make money online on: August 08, 2016, 03:16:44 PM
I think it should be linked with gaming industry, cause it's so popular right now.

Gaming and crypto currency should be linked as well. There is so much money to be made in gaming. Just look at the huge Dota tournament this week. So much money in just TI.

6203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★DigiByte|极特币★★[DGB]✔DigiByte Gaming - CS:GO, LoL, #DigiByteTip, DigiSpeed on: August 08, 2016, 06:14:36 AM
Just wanted to post and sort of rant, give my opinion on something.

The changes to Digibyte Gaming for League of Legends are stupid.  First, you guys made it so we can only earn DGB from one account instead of 4-5, and on top of that we have to claim them every 24 hrs or they get taken?

And then on top of both of those you didn't even bother to increase match rewards to make up for those two horrible decisions?

I'm unimpressed and disappointed.  I really liked where DGB was going, but pulling shit like that isn't going to make people want to stick around.  I don't mine anymore, so playing LoL was the only way I could earn DGB, and with those two nerfs it's pretty much pointless now, seeing as I was only earning a few thousand DGB per month BEFORE the nerfs.

I don't think it was ever intended to be have 4-5 accounts... thats referring yourself and im pretty sure most faucets don't like it.

DGB gaming is and has from my understanding always been about giving small amounts of dgb for gaming. Its not a profit earning site but more exposure to dgb to get others involved and working with it. You play LoL anyway so surely anything is a bonus right? I don't understand the anger? You could donate a lot of dgb to dgbgaming as a sponsor and ask them to increase the amounts until your donation expires?
Who said anything about referring myself?  I had friends let me put their accounts on since they don't care about crypto.  DGB Gaming is also not a faucet, you earn the DGB.  Why even have DigiByte Gaming if they're just going to nerf it into almost nothing?

I am upset because they nerfed it for no reason.  They weren't even giving out much in the first place and now it's pitiful amounts.  Not even worth doing.  Especially if they just take it if you don't claim it in the first 24 hours.

So im sure they can still play daily and use a dgb address you generate and you'll get their rewards as long as they play...

Also it is like a faucet you don't earn the dgb. You'd play the game normally right? So therefore it being free is a bonus. Faucets aren't free on your reasoning either as you type a captcha.

If you are playing LoL soley to get DGB its inefficient. A better suggestion is to work a job and use the cash to buy dgb or btc?

Also they didn't nerf it for no reason. The reason provided was "Abuse of multi accounts and referrals". Thats a pretty clear cut reason.

I fully agree with you. I understand the DigiByte Gaming site as a Bonus for Gamers who are also into crypto currencies. Compared to your playtime you don't earn a lot, but you are not doing anything for the coins. They are free.

But if People exploit the System they Need to Change it. It is better to receive less coins for free than shuting down the hole Service.

Thanks DigiByte Team for Fixing all the issues in the last weeks.
6204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin Dead??? on: August 08, 2016, 06:08:41 AM
and who says doge is dead? look at the doge price now, it is pumping and in good position.

Doge is not dead. On yobit, doge is still actively traded with some decent volume. The sellers and buyers book is full with orders. A dead coin to me trades @ 1 Satoshi with no buyers.
6205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: August 08, 2016, 05:56:21 AM
You can get rich in fair Lottery. A bit of lucky and win jackpot.
Lottery is the worst game to play, the chances of winning are very thin. it's better to play dice or other casino games where you could actually win.

But your winnings are much higher when playing Lottery. Winning in the lottery is life changing while winning in dice makes almost no difference. I also think you get more addictied to playing dice than lottery.

Take a look at Yovi.

It is a rise only market on Yobit. Pretty stable.
6207  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: SHORT BITCOIN TRADING STORY FOR NEWBIES PART 1 on: August 08, 2016, 05:48:49 AM
I would be very careful downloading a .rar from an unknown source. Extracting could deliver a nasty payload to your computer. A legitimate instructional course could have been put up on a website. These exploits tend to occur later at nite on weekends when the forum is slow.

I completely agree. You don't want to download such files from an unknown source.

Why put into a .rar in the first place? Is this a PDF or a Word doc?  Why not reupload the original file? I would like to read the hole lesson.
6208  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: August 08, 2016, 05:43:40 AM
A lot of my friend and me too, still looking for the answer, but i don't know how, if i knew the answer i have already became rich i think.
in fact the answer is already there, namely working hard and consistently to continue to raise money. but why people can not melakuakn it? people feel that working hard is difficult ?

Well if they are not determined to become rich then they are not going to do something and going to work hard for their future or dream to be a rich one. That's the only key for being rich, you must start with yourself be a workaholic but of course don't forget to have some rest because it is needed for you to be not wasted.

I agree. The first step to becoming rich is your own mind set. I read the book "Rich Dad Poor Dad" when I was younger. It is a great book that shows how differently the rich and poor look at the same subject. I recommend the book to anyone.
6209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In gambling, Money is more important than knowledge and luck on: August 08, 2016, 05:23:24 AM
I would like to say that knowledge is power. So in having that knowledge wouldn't it be the only thing that you need to out do the casinos at their own game?
Sure luck can play a role in you winning or losing but you can not rely on that all the time.
I try not to put money on a pedestal because as my great grand father told me once "Without your health money is nothing to you in this world." There is always ways to make some money but without your health (mental health not just your body he was talking about as well.) you don't have the resource to be able to do that.
I agree with you as knowledge can help you a lot while placing a bet and not only in casino games or sports, sometimes it helps you in other games too like dice. There are some people who are experts in permutations and combinations who always are able to guess the next number and it helps them a lot. Luck is not in one's hand and money needs to be managed well.

Yeah. If you only have a large bankroll but no knowledge you will be burning through your cash pretty fast. To be successful in gambling you need to have both. You need the understanding of the game to know when to bet big and when to bet small. But you also need the funds to survive some bad beats in a row.

6212  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do you have Bitcoin? on: August 08, 2016, 05:12:40 AM
To me, having bitcoin is like having other currencies in a more advanced way. Although there are still fears of scam, hacking, etc.., bitcoin comes in handy when you use it for sending money worldwide, trading, and especially finding an online jobs would be easier.

I also value the security aspect of Bitcoins very highly. For international Money Transfers Bitcoins is so much better than PayPal.

Additionally you get diversification to your Fiat Holdings. It is always better to hold multiple currencies instead of just one.

6214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: August 08, 2016, 05:01:45 AM
Its easy to quit gambling, when you go so deep and you realize some things in your mind you will know when is over...when you lost all your money, and you need more to gamble then you got into problems, and you can  made some mistakes, some stupid things..then you will regret and never again gamble..so before that mistakes and stupid things - STOP with that. I know a lot people who lost their home, familly and friends..that is terrible stuff. If you know where is limit that is good if not - then its late.
Good luck

But some people just do not know when to stop. Like, they already see the bad effects of gambling to them and their families, financially and emotionally, but they will still continue to gamble. Some people cannot stop on their own. They need someone to make them stop. I see this over and over again on real life.

A gambling addiction is similar to a drug addiction. You forget to think about consequences, you only focus about winning. It is very hard to get out of such an addiction by yourself.

6216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Favorite game (gambling) on: August 08, 2016, 04:45:33 AM
I personally prefer Blackjack over most of the other games offered by casinos, mostly because of the ability to somewhat control what happens with my bets. It's very superficial and there isn't much actual control, but I like the sense of pseudo-security and choice.

Yeah Blackjack is great, almost as much as poker. I always prefer to gamble with Cards than machines.

6218  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the Future of Bitcoin ? on: August 07, 2016, 04:35:27 PM
Bitcoin can be successful but it is just a fact it is not stable enough to have a bright future. It has to prove itself first that it can handle the news of disaster in the market with out wavering just like the other currency do. They do change but not that much to have people loose $100 of dollars if it shift in a heartbeat.

That happens with bitcoin because it is not a currency used widely by users, i agree that the user database if bitcoin is really large but not like fiat currencies, that is the reason why it drops and grows with time because it is not a currency used in big businesses or investments or it is not a currency that is running a lot of countries like dollar.

The users of bitcoin are limited at a moment but that doesn't mean it will  be same in future as we will find many new users who will invest their money into it.

The number of the bitcoin will increase steadily in the future. But that depends on the user experience.

The demand of the bitcoin depends on the user experience. If that is good, people will use bitcoin more.

Yeah and if they will use it for productive things then it will surely have positive impact on people but if they get scammed then they will prefer to stay away from bitcoins.
Bitcoin being limited for now is a great opportunity for others to invest in it so that in the future, some of the limitations will be lifted and investors profit too, but the possibility for that is highly thin. So, bright future for bitcoin is almost assured one. When bitcoin go popular, demand will rise obviously. Demand will do all the magics for any investments.

Bitcoin is still not too popular in every corner of the world, and it will take time for bitcoin to reach everywhere, but the positive thing is that users of bitcoin are increasing now.

I think bitcoin is heading in the right direction. As long as the number of people using bitcoins or the number of shops accepting bitcoins are increasing the price will rise over time.
6219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New to bitcoin on: August 07, 2016, 04:30:02 PM
Im neew to bitcoin what do I expect? easy money or rough road Smiley Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

There are already thousands of people involved with bitcoins. The easy money is long gone. However with a little bit of work you can still earn some coins.

Faucet are definitely in the rough road section. They only lay little for a lot of time involved.

I recommend to stay on this forum to earn some bitcoins. Have a look at the service section. There are always some jobs available. Or try to join a signature campaign once your account reaches a higher rank.
6220  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: August 07, 2016, 01:11:02 PM
bitcoin wallet is the best i always choose it over any banks or something like that

I agree. Bitcoin desktop wallets are a pretty secure way to store money. With the recent banking crisis in mind it is great alternative to a bank.
