Du kannst bereits jetzt nicht mehr unter 100 euro einkaufen. Also in zwei Monaten erst recht nicht. Der Kurs hatte ja schon öfters Schwankungen und war bereits schon auf 200 und 100 vor einigen Monaten? Wieso ist das diesmals nicht so? wenn der kurs sich weiter so steigert wie in den letzten wochen: alles ok, kaufen, warten, freuen. wenn der kurs so rasant steigt, das rechnerisch in wenigen tagen 10er werte erreicht werden, und hier im forum von "singularität" geschrieben wird... dann wird´s zeit auszusteigen. so war es zumindest im märz und april... |

Aber natürlich muss es nicht so kommen, das ganze ist nur eine Hypothese, die von der Annahme ausgeht das Bitcoin zur alleinigen Währung wird. Und diese Annahme kann man zumindest in der momentanen Auslegung ins Reich der Phantasie stecken.
Sicherlich ist es Phantasie, aber angenommen Bitcoin etabliert sich weiter wird es sicherlich einige mächtige Männer und Frauen in Regierungskreisen geben, die dieses Instrument Bitcoin für sich nutzen wollen. Was wird dann passieren? Staaten könnten zu niedrigen Kursen Reserven in BTC anlegen und sich so in Zeiten hoher Kurse ihrer Staatsschulden entledigen. Der Phantasie sind keine Grenzen gesetzt. Aber ob es so eintreffen wird ist ne andere Frage. Wohl eher nicht. Damit es so kommt muss mir einer meine 6 btc abschwatzen. Solange ich die habe, wird es nicht dazu kommen, das der bitcoin derartige Höhe ereicht. Oder meinst du das ich einfach so derart reich werde? Und wieviele ausser mir würden genauso denken und horten. Du deutest es ja für den Staat an. Der gegenseitige Neid wird es verhindern. wenn der hype erst mal breitere schichten der mittelklasse erreicht hat und weltweit... 100 mio leute bitcoins haben wollen. (30 mio amerika, 30 mio europa, 30 mio asien, 10 mio rest z.b) dann wird der preis gewaltig explodieren. und wenn deine 6 nicht gehandelt werden und viele andere dass auch so machen - dann passiert es umso schneller. mit ein paar coins unverschämt reich werden? warum denn nicht? wer ein paar apple aktien früh genug kaufen konnte hat auch einen großen schnapp gemacht. (damit will ich nicht sagen, dass btc sich am markt wie eine aktie verhalten, es soll nur verdeutlichen, dass große wertsteigerungen möglich sind) jeder, der heute 200 btc hält wird bei einem kurs von 5000,- $ millionär sein. kann sich der wert noch 40fach steigern ? wieso sollte er nicht ? wo ist denn die magische grenze, die nicht übersprungen werden kann ? es gibt keine. mehr leute werden davon erfahren, werden sehen, wie der kurs steigt und letztendlich beschliessen einzusteigen. begleitet vom gleichen "das ist nicht realistisch, das kann einfach nicht sein, ponzi, unseriös, träumerei" geraune, dass den kurs schon auf dem weg von 10 cent zu 4,- $ oder von 2 $ zu 80,- $ begleitet hat. |

KNC does bank transfer refunds  At current value. Not your original amount of bitcoins. They don't hold any bitcoins or at least I don't think so. All they got are fiat. Bitpay > Fiat > KNC What the hell is a bank transfer refund? How long do they take? How much do they cost? Awesome.  unprofitable i mean not even with electricy cost... but more when your investment is 5000$ and you are getting 5$ per month after costs you will need 10 years of mining  ok your saturn will make roi in next 20 years if you order today. is it profitable for you ? babysiting miner, hear loud and changing fans/paste for next 1000 weeks ? for a jupiter to make 5 $ per month difficulty would need to reach 20 000 mio. that is 300 x more then the current difficulty. |

what will be the next december/end of year prices (in $) for one btc ? my guess is: december 2013: 150 $ (1000% rise) december 2014: 375 $ (150% rise) december 2015: 3000 $ (800% rise) december 2016: 4500 $ (150% rise) my assumptions are based on the past % increases shown in the signature. so, anyone who manages to get/hold 222 btc until december 2016 will be a millionaire  i will dig this thread in 2016 and we will see then who was right... |

cool down guys. it is dramatic but not desperate.
imagine one ordered and paid 10 jupiters.
with a difficulty of 100 mio this nice little mining farm would hash 20 btc per day.
with a difficulty of 1000 mio it would hash 2 btc per day.
with a difficulty of 2000 mio it would hash 1 btc per day.
that would mean that there is the equivalent of 3599 mining farms of this size around competing with ours. (3600 coins per day are available)
it needs 1800 x 10 jupiters for the difficulty to rise to 1000 mio. 18 000 jupiters cost 126 mio $. (i know there will be more efficient miners in the future, but there were also less efficient/more expensive ones in the past - so let´s just assume this levels out)
btc mining needs a "market capitalization" of 126 mio $ for the difficulty to rise towards a level, when a 70k investment makes 60 btc per month, at current gox = 7800,- $. even under those circumstances hardware break even would be possible in less then 10 months. if btc price doubles even 250 mio $ of purchased mining equippment wouldn´t kill roi forever.
i don´t see more then 100 mio $ going into mining in the near future.
if it works with 10 jupiters it will also work with just one.

Nehmen wir mal an, dass sich Bitcoin weiter etabliert und die Währung für internationale Transaktionen schlechthin wird... sprich PayPal & Co bzgl. Handelsvolumen hinter sich lässt, dann wird der Preis sicher exorbitant sein. Die 21 Mios sind ja wie wir alle wissen festgeschrieben und das ist auch gut so... die Sache hat nur einen Haken... wenn irgendwann keine neuen Coins mehr erzeugt werden können, dann wird die Gesamtmenge über den gesamten Zeitraum hinweg immer weiter sinken. Der Grund ist, dass es genügend Leute gibt, die ihre Wallets nicht sichern. Ist eine wallet.dat weg, hat man logischerweise auch keinen Zugriff mehr auf die Coins... demzufolge sind wieder X Coins weniger im Umlauf. Man könnte jetzt sagen... selbst schuld - aber das Problem ist, dass mit jedem Coin, der weniger im Umlauf ist bzw. auf den nicht zugegriffen werden kann, auch die Anzahl der potentiellen Handelspartner mit der Zeit schrumpft. Wenn ich mit meiner These falsch liege, dann bitte korrigieren, aber über die Jahre hinweg wird es immer wieder mal einen Ausfall geben, wo einer sein Wallet im Nirvana versenkt. Wenn man so in verschiedenen Foren und Beiträgen stöbert, dann sieht man relativ schnell, dass einige ihre Coins schon versenkt haben... so gesehen werden wir wohl nie alle 21 Mio gleichzeitig zur Verfügung haben.

If it ships quick, ROI could be weeks or a month, if it ships just a month later, it could take 3-4 months for ROI, so a short delay equals an exponentially longer ROI, or negative ROI. How is Zefir fucked? He already earned 9.9 % of the cost of every chip for organizing the group buys (+-500 BTC).
A couple of days ago he sold 7000 Avalon chips at a profit to Bitmine.
The only people fucked are us idiots who participated in the group buys and trusted Avalon We are now left with garbage
if anything at all. I really hope that the Asian ASIC cartel will kill Bitcoin.

the fantastic new possibilities of a technology connecting cash with the internet has hit us and made us more or less "early" adopters. since it´s good and it works, it will spread further. why would it stop at this level? the more traction it gets, the faster it will rise. make people buy some small coins is indeed, a good idea.
