6241  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: July 13, 2019, 03:35:32 PM
My original email address for coinpot account is no longer in use. I can't receive the verification email and logged in my coinpot account. Can Coinpot help?

Please cancel the limitation so that I can login my account. Please also allow to change the email address.
Sorry, but I have no good news for you. If you have access to your old email, it means that your Coinpot account lost.
@felicita, offcourse he may try to contact them, but it will be probably pointless thing. I haven't heard that someone got response from their support.
6242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 13, 2019, 03:03:40 PM

Finally, an interesting signing.
It is the hit that Barcelona did on the contrary of those that real did with Hazard.
Time for Griezmann to show his real talent!

Atletico refused the payment.
Since Barca traded Griezmann illegally when the clause was 200 m €, they now want 200m.
Atletico are looking very desperate now. Contract was signed now, I don't know why they're talking about March. And it's interesting that Atletico will get only €96 millions instead of €120 millions because €24 millions will go to Real Sociedad.
6243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trump is tweeting about Bitcoin O.O thoughts? on: July 12, 2019, 09:32:43 AM
So, did anyone expected that Trump can say something positive about Bitcoin? But this tweet is typical FUD from person who knows nothing about Bitcoin. Drugs trade, other illegal activity - probably my neighbour or random guy on street would say similar things which already been used to spread FUD about Bitcoin thousands times. But actually US Dollar are used for illegal things at much bigger scale than Bitcoin - these two currencies even can't be compared in terms of illegal use. It's sad to see such stupid thoughts comind from leader of most powerful country of the world. But one the other hand it's not first and not last time when Trump tweet something stupid - it's already common thing.
6244  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: AIRDROP best way to spam ? on: July 11, 2019, 11:41:38 PM
Your first sentence pretty much answers your question. In these 3 years you probably joined lot of airdrops. And all of them required your email. And you think that all these ICO's cares much about privacy of data? Offcourse no. These airdrops is a great way to collect huge number of emaild and later sell it. PR agencies which are working with ICO's have huge databases of emails and they are using it to promote ICO's and airdrops.
6245  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Looking for some help transferring bitcoin to my bank on: July 11, 2019, 11:34:39 PM
Thanks. Maybe bitpay will have that option To automatically transfer it to my bank. I wonder if there’s any other services that do this.
Yeah, as I understand from their website, Bitpay automatically sends money to your bank account. I just don't know is is there any proccessing fee for it.
There are some other popular crypto payment gateways like Coinpayments or Coingate, but as I know they only allow to withdraw money to your bank account manually.
6246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: July 11, 2019, 07:56:55 PM
You are betting on the favourites and I think the games you have bet are all with big difference between the teams playing.I hope you win your big parlay but it is almost impossible for all the games you have played to be wins otherwise sport betting sites would suffer heavy damage in the amount of money lost. Also history has shown that when a lot of games are to be played never all the favourites have won.
No, it wasn't parlay. It would be fastest way to lose money. And as I see, I already lost few bets - not the best day so far...
Lol... Europa FC?
Which country is that time from?
Never heard of that team before
Did they just name their team for the purpose of just Europa League? Grin
They are from Gibraltar. I don't knowe history of their name, but now I see that they are playing against Legia and result is 0:0 at 65 minute. Draw in this game would be big sensation.
6247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: July 11, 2019, 09:30:44 AM
43 matches will be played today in Europa league qualifiers. Mostly we will see smaller and less known teams playing. But I will post few my bets.
Riteriai win vs Klaksvik @1.77, Hapoel Beer Sheva win vs Laci @1.35, Domzale win vs Balzan @1.47, Brann win vs Shamrock Rovers @1.5, Debrecen win vs Kukes @1.38 and Haugesund win vs Cliftonville @1.63.
I'm not going to play with big money today because betting on such games is quite risky and we already saw some big surprises in previous days.
6248  Other / Archival / Re: Eco review of bitcointalk ! on: July 10, 2019, 11:24:04 PM
Only theymos can answer this question. But I doubt that Bitcointalk can be called as eco friendly website. And it's not a problem, because this forum isn't using that much resources probably that we would need to worry. It's not something like amounts of electricity used for Bitcoin mining in total. For example, Bitcoin mining consume more electricity per year more than Denmark. But good thing that most of Bitcoin miners using renewable sources of electricity.
6249  Other / Meta / Re: A Study about history of Bitcointalk Forum on: July 10, 2019, 10:34:26 PM
How about this? https://web.archive.org/web/20110530213023/http://forum.bitcoin.org
It was hosted before in http://forum.bitcoin.org ?

The original name of the forum is bitcoin forum.

I thought that I know Bitcointalk history well, but I didn't knew that it was hosted on Bitcoin.org. I missed this thing. I thought that forum was just moved from sourceforge.net to Bitcointalk.org. But yeah, now I read that Bitcoin forum was hosted on Bitcoin.org/smf and later forum.bitcoin.org. And only in 2011 it was moved to Bitcointalk org.
6250  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies Beware Of Scambots on: July 10, 2019, 10:23:45 PM
I know this scam sounds stupid to a lot of us but if it didn't work they wouldn't be doing it.  There is a large percentage of people with below average intelligence that are extremely gullible.  I've even seen this same scam going on in Elon Musk's Twitter.

Yeah, and we will see such scam attempts as long as they will be able to find new victims. And we can warn people about it unlimited number of times and it still wouldn't help. Some people can learn only from their own mistakes when they lose money. Maybe for us these scams looks so stupid, but you said well - many people are just not educated enough or naive and want to become rich very fast. Though, when I was newbie I can't remember myself falling into such scams Cheesy
6251  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 26-June-2019] on: July 10, 2019, 10:09:49 PM

Why don't you add a "manager" column to the table?

I think many people are also looking who the campaign manager is before joining a campaign, so it will be easier if that information could be found directly in this table.

It takes one click on the link provided for you to see who's managing it or not. Doesn't seem like that big of a deal to include it really.
But same thing can be said about other things like payment rates, number of posts required and etc - you just need one click to see it. Anyway, I don't think that we need "manager" column, but I don't mind if it would be added.
6252  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I need 5 sources of revenue to generate $200 each per month - Ideas? on: July 09, 2019, 11:10:24 PM
$200 per month isn't something big, it's achievable. But as I understand, you have limited time that you can spend and it's a problem.
Bloggin can be an option, but it requires lot of time and you should be a good writer. It's not an easy task to build website from scratch, you also need to understand things like SEO well. To make $200 from website per month you need to have decent traffic.
Affiliate marketing. Actually, it can give unlimited income, but everything is up to you. If you have good knowledge in marketing you can earn a lot.
What else you can do? Not much comes to my head. There is quite many ways to make money, but it's risky or requires specific skills and knowledge.
6253  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: BitcoinTalk's 2019 Premier League and Champions League Pool Sign Up Thread on: July 09, 2019, 10:32:18 PM
Sorry for the offtopic, but, I’m trying to open the pool for SerieA, or am I doing something completely wrong or there is no SerieA on Superbru app?
Can please someone help me out here

You can't open a pool for Serie A at this moment. Do you know when it starts? They usually start putting the leagues about a month before start. I don't remember if they had Serie A last year but if they are hosting Scotish Prem so I am guessing Serie A should be available sooner or later.
As I remember they had Serie A last season. There was Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Championship, Scottish Premiership and some other leagues too.
Good to see list of participants filling up. There is still enough time to join, so I'm sure that we will see some more players, maybe even more than last season. Maybe I will drop PM to some users who played last year to invite them again.
6254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: July 09, 2019, 10:15:30 PM
Today we have few surprising results in qualifiers - AIK lost to Ararat 2:1, and Dudelange draw with Valletta. Only HJK who won their match 3:0, and maybe Celtic who won 3:1 can be confident before second leg.
I watched Suduva - Crvena Zvezda game which ended 0:0, I had under 2.5 on this game. It's first match for Crvena Zvezda this season and they played terrible. They can be happy that they didn't lost this game. They will be big favorites before second game, but everything is open.
6255  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Smishing and how not to fall for it on: July 09, 2019, 09:42:47 AM
I would say that smishing is more dangerous than other types of phishing, for example email. In email it's quite easy to spot that that email is fake, you just need to check email address of sender. In SMS it's more difficult to spot fake message. It's usually sent from unknown number and link is hidden under shortlink. So, I'm trying not to click any links so SMS, even if it looks that sender is legit. What you can do after getting suspicious message - try to Google phone number of sender, maybe it's already been reported before. Or you may find information that this number is legit.
I think that smshing is quite rare because it's not cheap thing for fraudsters - if they want to send large number of messages it can cost quite expensive.
6256  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: I bought a used Trezor Model T hardware wallet.... on: July 08, 2019, 10:38:34 PM
Now it should be safe to use, but when you have used hardware wallet there will be no guarantees that your coins are 100% safe. Maybe you can save few bucks buy buying used but it's not worth to risk, because you later may have to "pay" much bigger price if your BTC will be stolen. It's not about you OP, but there is good fraze in my language - "greedy pays twice"
6257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Copa América 2019 Discussion Thread & Prediction Pool (registration closed) on: July 08, 2019, 10:15:44 PM
Thank you @DarkStar_, I've got prize money. Now I have money to pay EPL pool signup fee Cheesy. Thank you everyone who got involved in this pool, we had great time.
So Dani Alves got selected as best player of the competition ?
It must be a different Dani Alves than the one playing (terribly) for PSG.
Seriously though, I haven't followed the competition much, was he that good ?
I'm surprised that he can play so well being 36 years old. In this tournament he was like in Barcelona few years ago - one of the best right backs in the world.
BTW, I think that Copa America trophy increased Allison chances to get Ballon D'Or. Maybe not many considered him as candidate, but Champions league and Copa America trophies sounds very solid.

It's worth mentioning that the Copa America 2020 starts exactly at the same time as the Euro 2020  Shocked (both competitions will last around one month: June 12th - July 20th)

Football all day/night long? Sounds nice Cheesy
6258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup Of Nations 2019 - Discussion Thread on: July 08, 2019, 10:05:01 PM
It was great match. I wouldn't blame Bedoui for an own goal, it was difficult situation for him. I was amazed how confident players of both teams were on penalty shootout, in most moments goalkeepers didn't had any chances to save, we saw only one penalty missed by Ghana player what cost them place in quarterfinals.
So now we know pairs of quarterfinals - Senegal vs Benin, Madagascar vs Tunisia, Ivory Coast vs Algeria and Nigeria vs South Africa.
6259  Other / Meta / Re: The new (maybe not so new) spammy trend. on: July 08, 2019, 09:41:33 AM
I don't think it's new trend. I remember seeing such threads maybe 2-3 years ago or even earlier. Newbie OP asks simple or sometimes stupid question and never come back. It's very likely that these accounts is alt of some sig spammers, but it's just assumption and there is no way how we can prove it. And such threads is heaven for sig spammers indeed. But I think it's not much what we can do. Reporting probably wouldn't help because these threads aren't breaking forum rules. There is just one thing - question of such threads usually has been discussed hundreds or even thousands times before, but I'm not sure that's a reason to report it.

How they can be so lucky
  Grin

This means...

TOTAL TICKETS: 280,306,741

0,00004 %  Cheesy
Well, similar things happens every few weeks. In past I remember one guy been posting weekly reports about lottery here where we saw users with very low number of tickets winning huge prizes. It would be interesting to know user with lowest number of tickets winning in Freebitco.in lottery. Probably he had 1 or 2 tickets Cheesy.
