Well, nothing spectacular in the end, although we avoided penalties in the final thankfully. Red cards in both final games so I guess that part of the tournament didn't disappoint!

Congratulations to the winners, big daddy look forward to competing with you in the other pools for next season! I've been a poor player and ended last in this pool, had to gamble on upsets to have a chance to win!

So Brazil win their first Copa for over 10 years. I think it is probably deserved, they were the best team during the tournament. That penalty for their third goal last night was a joke though.

It must be a different Dani Alves than the one playing (terribly) for PSG.
Seriously though, I haven't followed the competition much, was he that good ?

Totally well deserved winning from Brazil.
However, I think that the moral winners of this cup was Peru. They played Decent and above their powers to manage and get to this level. i am also impressed with the performance of Guerrero who I think he deserves a move to a top class club.

Yes, he was really good (as in 'old school Dani Alves from Barcelona' level of good). But tbh, either him or another brazilian (Everton, Allison, Jesus) could've taken the MVP award, Brazil was just too good.

Brazil had an easy win yesterday night.Everyone expected it and bookers only quoted Brazil with 1.25-1.30 for the win which is a very low odd for a final game of a tournament.

Peru of course with the players it has couldn't put up a good show to oppose a Brazil eager to win the tournament after a decade.

LOL). It's worth mentioning that the Copa America 2020 starts exactly at the same time as the Euro 2020  (both competitions will last around one month: June 12th - July 20th)

I think Copa is played every summer when South Americans don't have World Cup qualifications. In practice that means 2 seasons in a row and then break but that isn't fixed as well. Next year copa will be 4th in 6 years (counting from 2015) if I am not mistaken.

If you take a closer look, you will notice that most of Brazil Cups was made in 19x9 or 20x9 lol

I'm surprised that he can play so well being 36 years old. In this tournament he was like in Barcelona few years ago - one of the best right backs in the world.
BTW, I think that Copa America trophy increased Allison chances to get Ballon D'Or. Maybe not many considered him as candidate, but Champions league and Copa America trophies sounds very solid.
