6261  Economy / Speculation / Re: how to predict bitcoin price increase or decrease? on: October 10, 2017, 02:50:50 AM
We see sometimes bitcoin price increase or decrease. How I can predict whether bitcoin price increase or decrease.Again, who controll this price.I appreciate if you kindly share your experience.

You cannot totally predict bitcoin price but due to bitcoin being very volatile, rumors or news can greatly affect its price. A negative news will make its price decrease while a positive news can make its price increase. There are key events that would make you speculate where the price will go in the next few days or weeks like what is happening nowadays. Due to the incoming bitcoin hardfork, there are more people who would hold or buy bitcoin so that they can have bitcoin gold as well and for this reason, we can expect bitcoin to increase.

Bitcoin is actually a lot easier to predict than most other markets. If you look at a long-term chart of Bitcoin you will see that it always goes up exponentially, followed by long-term decline and then another exponential rise. This has happened over and over since 2012 and before. If you buy in when the price drops, you are very likely to multiple your money by 3x or more within a few years.
That's it, at last, someone get the basic movement of bitcoin price and its algorithm, the exponential price always followed by massive dump or decline, it's already repeated so many times if you see the graph of bitcoin price since the first released. that's why, so many people prefer to hold bitcoin at the end and always buying bitcoin when the price dumped, but, so many people are just afraid of nothing when the price get dumped so hard.
6262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine whether it's scam or not? on: October 10, 2017, 02:45:31 AM
investing with ico is really risky we can't or it so hard to determine which is which that got the real project or real innovations since it will just relied
on how dev will succeed, even there's a good white paper or even there's a good information there's still a risk that it wont succeed without support
from the investors and traders.
I think you just being sarcastic, by investing into a project, we're not relying on the success of dev, we can choose on our own the best and promising project instead of the poorest one, so we can still determine real project or real innovations by what they offer, their past product or else. if you invest into a reputable people, you will seem to get a good outcome.
6263  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience and Holding on: October 10, 2017, 02:40:24 AM
Ive been wrong that i withdraw all my earnings on trading ..
i learned that ..must have patience in holding then exchanging it times 10 from the day I bought my alts..
hmm .. too bad for me now bitcoins is still aiming high ..
I hold my coin as well because when I buy it in the expensive price and suddenly the price drops to the base, i hold altcoin like XRP,XMR,XLM because Bitcoin rising up and Hardfork this month  Cry
But, you can check it out the equivalent to your local fiat of each altcoins you bought, the value maybe the same but just the rate to btc significantly decreasing and that's becasuse bitcoin just get pumped so hard, we're heading for new ATH for bitcoin but the effect is, all the altcoins gets dumped aswell as you said.
6264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can i participate in the ICO without creating an Etherium address? on: October 09, 2017, 03:33:01 AM
Any one can answer my question?
yes indeed, most ICO always need an ethereum address to make a payment. but there are also some ICOs that accept the wallet address other than ethereum. it all depends on the ICO rules.
Not dpeend on the ICO rules but depend on whether the ICO plan to use ethereum smart contract, waves', or making their own blockchain. especially a coin that's independent from bitcoin or eth or waves by creating their own blockchain often accept so many altcoin as their payment method, not relying to the smart contract only.
6265  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Should I buy a Trezor or Nano S? on: October 09, 2017, 03:23:14 AM
Just see this comparation topic that already been discussed here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2115397.0
I personally prefer trezor because its design and the features but well, better to consider an opinion from someone who have owned both so that you can know the real advantages or disadvantages of each.
6266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: October 08, 2017, 05:01:22 AM
may be fluctuations of ETH rate are a special strategy to push a growing interest in it?
but as for me I really believe in ETH
Nah I don't think so, the fluctuation of ETH rate is just natural and probably because of many ICOS affection that use ETH smart contract making unstability ecosystem but rather giving opportunity for traders. ETH itself, I believe, will release the full potential once PoS implemented, but we'll see.
6267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan Endorses 11 Bitcoin Exchanges on: October 02, 2017, 04:54:14 AM
"In a prime example of real-world adoption, Japan’s Financial Services Agency (FSA) just endorsed 11 cryptocurrency exchanges, giving them official licenses to sell Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other altcoins to Japanese customers." Good lord, FINALLY. After a whole month or two of having nothing but bannings and FUD, we finally have some positive news for once. Kudos to Japan; hopefully we get more positive news from other countries in the future.
Can't say more that they're really tech friendly country among other in this world. Japan deserve to be a country with highest level of tech advance around in this world by the future.

it is funny how when Japanese regulate exchanges, everyone is happy and present it as a good news. but when other countries try to do the same thing it is considered bad news! weird. of course there is a tiny difference that Japan didn't close the exchanges first but the result is the same.

~
At least there's still a east asian country that fully supports bitcoin and also have no plans to ban ICO's (unless there will be a big ICO scam in the near future which may make the japanese government rethink of their decisions). Let's see if which east Asian country will be benefited most with the decisions that they made
how would you know.
they may soon ban ICOs if they haven't already. you do realize that ICOs have nothing to do with exchanges, altcoins, bitcoin, trading,...
The acceptance which come from other countries is not a bad news, but, the regulation that bring disadvantages to many bitcoin users from that country is such a bad news.
Have you seen the reaction of people when USA officially recognise bitcoin but as digital property.
6268  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are some disadvantages of BTC? on: October 02, 2017, 04:45:31 AM
We all know the advantages of BTC, but what are some of the disadvantages??

Well one that i can think of is that it is still not perfectly anonymous. Personally i'd like to see bitcoin evolve into the future into something like XMR with essentially in built coin mixing. This is probably not necessary but rather an add on.

Another thing is that, fees are often high.

Also, blocks are 10 minutes on average in between so that means you're probably not going to be able to get stuff irl instantaneously without the merchant having to trust you.
I must say that BitPay, an API which often used by many merchants widely around the world accepting zero confirmation, I don't know how they can solve the double spend issue in their internal but it's really a good thing.
Talking about fee, mainly because people want the confirmation to arrive fastly so that they set the fee higher than usual, when mass people do this, the fee will increase significantly, i can say that's the disadvantage of blockchain though.
6269  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When sell ETH for BTC? on: October 01, 2017, 10:51:53 PM
I see Ethereum being worth close to Bitcoin someday. The technology is used by so many businesses now...
Not entirely right, the price still far below BTC right now even though the market capitalization of ETH is trying to pursue bitcoin. But, the demands of ETH which comes from many ICO will probably make ethereum worth like bitcoin someday, frankly, ETH rarely implemented on many business but oftenly used for crowdfunding or ICO due to its smart contract.
6270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Breaking news} Korean Government will ban all kinds of ICO. on: September 29, 2017, 02:15:21 AM
Well we'll see all red market because of this, but as far as I know that there's really few ICOs project from south korean but pretty sure that there's many investors there.
it's time for South korean ICO investor to cashout, or else, will be punished.

edit: well as long as it's not fake news, otherwise, means nothing lol.
6271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon May Accept Bitcoin By October. Do you believe? on: September 29, 2017, 01:58:52 AM
Is it confirmed by the amazon officials itself??. If none,, it will only fall as hearsay, rumors or just mere imagination.. But i will not be negative about it,, to say that it could be good to bitcoin for more will appreciate or reached out popularity million of users of amazon that can trigger on its high price.. It will to do good on both platforms..
It's just rumour, i don't know where it come because people are suddenly talking about this rumour and make confusing title of in their topic.
there's no press, no news, or anything else. merely a rumour which created of nowhere.
6272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Сan the volume of coins be increased? on: September 29, 2017, 01:52:23 AM
The limited supply will make the price go higher, i don't like the idea of unlimited supply or coins volume addition either, let it be like this right now, it's already perfect and make the price always growing.
there's no need of an additional coins since it's unnecessary, doesn't affect anything but make the price lower.
6273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After China & Russia, now India on: September 24, 2017, 02:47:36 AM
The Reserve Bank is uncomfortable with "non-fiat" cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, its executive director Sudarshan Sen said today

By that statement, it's clear the the reserve bank there are against bitcoin, it's like stating their refuse to bitcoin clearly. the regulations which I expected to soon to be released will most probably tighten the rules even more or simply ban the existence of bitcoin in that area.
I'm sure that if india government only planning to release regulation to tighten the rules, it's to benefits their bank and to make bitcoin struggling there.
6274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of ICO ban in China on: September 24, 2017, 02:43:46 AM
now the short side and long side are playing games on the news, when North Korea announance a nuclear explosion test, the btc price will rise up, and when the rumor that China has new policy about cryptos, the market will go down
yup, news about bitcoin even if it's small or big news definitely greatly affects the market price of bitcoin or altcoin,
hopefully all can be stable
Small news rarely affect the market and some of the big news too, but the release of regulation about the usage of bitcoin in country with major bitcoin power is really affecting, for example, china, russia, japan, and USA, they all bring their affect to the cryptocurrencies in every their release of regulation, and we're now really lucky that china has lost its domination.
6275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining on Mobile Phone on: September 22, 2017, 10:26:32 AM
Frankly, only interested in it if the difficulties are low, the reward for each solved block are high, and the price of the coin is high. I'm not going to waste my phone to always active 24/7 for the sake of few cents.
Mining trhough mobile phone is not practical way to earn, mobile phone isn't created for that and have low computing power.
6276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens to btc after the last coin has been mine on: September 22, 2017, 10:24:32 AM
since bitcoin is a POW coin, what will be awarded to miners after the circulating supply reaches the maximum supply which is 21 million ,that is when the last coin has been mine

In the long run we really can't even predict what will happen, but what I feel is they shall recieve the money from transactions fee as usual. Then also the price shall be so high, that It can be a collector item lol. So they may even put up bidding process, as we all know that's it's a long run we can't really say, with so many forks happening, anything is possible but one thing is for sure, miners shall continue to earn at our expenses.
If that thing could make the transaction fees go higher when at the same time the price of bitcoin is on its peak. I'd be suffering and be sure to not use bitcoin again. The current transaction fee which take approximately few dollars are enough to make me think twice before doing transcation.
6277  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good news to bitcoin traders. on: September 21, 2017, 12:38:09 PM
"Chinese government said it is impossible to ban bitcoin that they are just trying to regulate it and they actions should benefits blockchain" https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/6zzmyy/official_press_of_china_it_is_impossible_to_ban/ for fundamental analysis traders, the best time to buy bitcoin is now as this is the best significant news that come from China after the banned of ico and the fake news or rumor of banned of cryptocurrency exchangers in China.

They are right in admitting they cannot ban or impossible for them to ban bitcoin, by admitting it, the price has now normalized, no amount of badnews from any country or personality can take down bitcoin, I guess Bitcoin is here to stay.
Yes currently no bad news but may be next month houbi and another major Chinese exchange decided to close then we might see some minor pullback. Price has been stabilised without much Chinese trading as they only account less than 10% of trading volume now.
Bitcoin is the King
That's right, they're now don't have major power to affect the bitcoin price anymore, and until now im impressed on how bitcoin users could improvise in this chaotic circumstance of cryptocurrency, all of the coins slowly recovering and regaining their value once more, at the end, HODLers who give no shit to the bullshit spreading are the winners.
6278  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: China to Shut Bitcoin Exchanges - winter is coming on: September 19, 2017, 05:33:01 AM
There is no need to worry guys i just read the news from china that they will legalize the bitcoins in their country, Another thing is that if you will notice the value of bitcoins in the market is slightly rising again.
From what I've heard, they didn't legalize bitcoin just as yet but tighten the rules about bitcoin, the closing down of some exchanges also because they're not capable or didn't qualify to be licensed exchange in China
but now, winter has changed to summer, the bitcoin price is now recovering and above $4k, this closing down of many exchanges actually bring good impact, also the regulation released by china means they recognise bitcoin so it's good.
6279  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The beginning of another bullish momentum! on: September 19, 2017, 04:59:58 AM
The bullish moment Bitcoin is going through right now was known by every single person out there as everybody knows that Bitcoin recovers its price very quickly than any other coin or asset. I am really happy to see it hit the $4000 target and would be much happier if it breaks the $4200 resistance. Once it crosses $4200 it will soon cross $4500 and hit the $5000 target. But i don't think that will happen any time soon knowing that ETH hard fork is going to take place at the end of this month. Chances are there that people will start selling their BTC to buy ETH and take out the profits. In that case there will be a significant dip in the price of BTC.
If ETH really do the fork and switch to PoS might be a something big, but not going to affect that much for bitcoin users. bitcoin still the base for many altcoins including ETH and it's inarguable.
in the coming days, ETH will probably rising up this month and reach new ATH after hardfork because people and miners will forcefully buying ETH if they want to stake their address but BTC still #1 and will alway be.
6280  Economy / Economics / Re: CHINA has not Stop BITCOINS afterall on: September 19, 2017, 04:49:45 AM
"CHINA has not Stop BITCOINS afterall" Interesting title you got there, but the title itself is wrong. CHINA will never be able to stop bitcoin even if they own major portion of the total supply, it's decentralized, people around the world will always own some portion of it and the mining power always come across countries.

Talking about chinese people who shifting their coin to other country, it's really interesting, but I wonder if they're still have the citizenship as China citizen, it can be considered avoiding the law to get their money offshore isn't it?
