I see Ethereum being worth close to Bitcoin someday. The technology is used by so many businesses now...
Not entirely right,the price still far below BTC right now even though the market capitalization of ETH is trying to pursue bitcoin. But, the demands of ETH which comes from many ICO will probably make ethereum worth like bitcoin someday, frankly, ETH rarely implemented on many business but oftenly used for crowdfunding or ICO due to its smart contract. |

But, the demands of ETH which comes from many ICO will probably make ethereum worth like bitcoin someday, frankly, ETH rarely implemented on many business but oftenly used for crowdfunding or ICO due to its smart contract. Yes, it's not that comparable though ethereum stands next to bitcoin in terms of volume. Right now both has been providing with an increased profiting, which one cannot find in other assets, because with ETH and btc the growth continues even after price fluctuation. With other alts things were different and importantly its good to sell Eth to btc when the etc value is pumping high and btc moving gradual. |

I think it's nice to wait when bitcoin get's the minimum and buy it then after you are waiting you can expect big increase in the next segwit or sell on the price what comfortable
Yep! This is the most effective strategy of working and earning massive profits with bitcoins, this is the only reason why I refer dumps as blessings because at that time you can buy as much bitcoins as you can without paying too much. Selling them off at high prices during pumps earn you unbelievable money. |

ETH is at second number after bitcoins in international market. So like you said, one must observe the comparison of both coins. If you find both at same level currently, then shift to bitcoin they will yield more. But yes majority times, ETH is high and BTC is low so sell ETH and join this amazing coin. I think this all depends on what you have in your mind and what you are planning to do. If you are planning for short term investment, then it is better to keep ETH and make a good earning from ETH. On the other hand, if you are going for long term investment then ETH is not at all good option. You need to switch towards Bitcoin. According to me these both coins are for two different types of trader. Those trader who want to invest their money for a short term and want to get profit then I will refer them to buy etherum while those trader who have long business mind and want to invest for a long term then he should go to bitcoin they will get more and more profit through bitcoin. |

Today ETH just hit $349 which is amazing but the time that happen btc dump a bit which can happend because also xrp rise but be in mind this is just a prediction, not 100% possible.

That’s really strange that someone is planning to sell off bitcoin for a digital currency which is about to vanish away soon. Eth if rising in value is just because of bitcoin. We all know that altcoins keep following footsteps of bitcoin. Bitcoin has again created history by touching 5600 dollars and is highly expected to touch 7k dollars by the end of this year. So you should think twice before selling bitcoin for eth. |

So you should think twice before selling bitcoin for eth. Selling ethereum coin to buy bitcoin is a bright idea, since value of bitcoin now in the market is falling down. Therefore I believe that when hardfork happens this coming November crypto currency value were declining. We all know that this is the perfect time to buy more stocks of bitcoin because after segwit bitcoin price is rapidly raised up. |

I have purchased alot of ETH when the prices of Bitcoin were very high like 5.7k during this time. And I am going to buy ETH every week now with the payment I'll get . Now I feel like within a year or something and then I'll be owning alot of money. And basically when ETH will cross around 5k USD I'll convert it .

From my point of view it would depend upon the market condition when to buy it or sell it because these coins are very volatile now a days their price may raise up certainly and then decrease rapidly so if you see the today's market condition it would be better to sell them or retain them for future on invest them into anything to get profit when market condition is low it is beneficial to buy them and retain them.

Bitcoin is the real deal when it comes to the overall cryptocurrencies and given the chance to trade eth for BTC I could go ahead any time any day because I know I will recover any loses through holding...ethereum isn't much of an investment asset as compared to bitcoin. Have you sold ETH to buy BTC yet? BTC now is about $5800. It is a regret if you did not buy bitcoin in August, 2017. I hope OP executed this trade because btc is on its way to a new all time high. |

Has anyone noticed that eth price in bitcoins are dropping a lot? actually 1 bitcoin equals to 20 ethereums at this moment, it is insane.
I still remember those days when about 8 ethereums were equal to one bitcoin price.. All the altcoins in bitcoin price are dropping a lot , i dont know why they are not following their path as well.
But it is funny, you can have a bitcoin and buy twenty ethereums with that money, lol.

I will sell my ethereums when the price touches $600 each one, or 0.15 in BTC, those are the most fair rates in which i would sell my eth, so i am looking to sell them at that rate in order to use that money to invest in other altcoins below $1, i really believe in that it will touch that price before 2018, anyway, if there is a problem with it, i will continue holding it, i dont have too much money invested in eth
Do you think it's a value too big, it can not be achieved, because it is always restrained by bitcoin. |

Yes all the co-relation of BTC and alts has amazed me and specially the ETH and bitcoin. I have noticed that whenever there is a dump to the price of bitcoin the same will happen to the price of ETH and when the bitcoin price accelerates so do the ETH. There hardly be a time when Bitcoin and ETH prices move in an opposite direction. There may be any rare example of the prices going in opposite directions. there is no guarantee that bitcoin and ethereum are moving in the same direction of the price, it is proved that when there is a dump in bitcoin, all altcoin falls down and the ethereum value has touched below $200. But as bitcoins rise and head for new ATH, ethereum remains steady at $300. This means there remains a certain restriction on altcoin to follow the movement of bitcoin prices. And now is not a good time to sell ethereum for bitcoin. |

I have been telling people to buy BTC only as no other coin movement is fast as bitcoin itself.

I think I'll always collect Bitcoin and Ethereum as much as possible. If it's a matter of when to sell, I'll sell it when the price has gone up drastically and high. I will not sell until I get profit. But if the price goes down and I lose, I will not panic and keep collecting. It may take several years to get a big profit from Ethereum and Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency in the world, while Ethereum is the second best crytopcurrency in the world. So I think it's important to collect those two coins. |

It is not only you, but most of the crypto traders are involved in collecting both of these coins and reason is same. Bitcoin is the best digital currencies and is leader of all. Every other currency is dependent on bitcoin for their market value and same is the case of eth whereas eth is doing well among altcoins. It is greatest market among altcoins but still dependent on bitcoin for value. |
