not done this for ages.....
Just downloaded latest wallet (25) Renamed wallet.dat >> old. Currently 49 weeks behind. Slowly got up to 8 connections. Now pretty much stuck.
It will download a meg or two in the first 2/3 minutes, but then network traffic will fall to a pitiful level. Is this normal? If I restart, it will once again download the first 2 meg quickly again.....then back to dead slow with very occasional spikes on the network traffic graph.
have you deleted your peers.dat ? Yep. Still averaging 2/3 KB/s. All ways the same. Short burst initially, then 2/3 KB/s. try using a bootstrap to speed things up : https://github.com/UdjinM6/darkcoin-bootstrap

v0.11.1.25 - MANDATORY UPDATE
Due to some pools taking advantage of paying the incorrect masternodes (on purpose), enabling enforcement failed earlier today. Please update to the latest version of the software, 11.1.25, which includes a much stronger policy for enforcing masternode payments. This will also cause bans on any clients mining on the wrong chain. After the entire network updates (Pools, Exchanges, Masternodes, etc), we'll activate enforcement again.
https://www.darkcoin.io/downloads/ done... lets make this the fastest update yet

|
there's a new update, .24! Mandatory? Cold start?
11.1.25 is coming soon Nevermind, enforcement is on and we've forked the bad pools. Everything looks good, upgrade to 11.1.24 if you please

I updated to .25 and all my MN are showing this:
Corrupted block database detected.
Do you want to rebuild the block database now?
nooo .. dont use .25 !! only .24 Why? Its shown on http://darkcoin.io/thats weird, thought Evan mentioned that .25 wasnt necessary anymore as he put enforcement on ?

if we upgraded to .24 could we still be seeing that error ''Warning : the network does not appear to fully agree etc'' because we are all thrown into safemode ? I have 1 MN showing that error and 1 not .. both MN's are on the same block and with same version .24
run -reindex on the node with the error. fixes it right up. doing that as i type this.. but weird thing is that i already did that and then i got that error. delete peers.dat first... might just be talking to the same nodes that took you down the wrong fork. did a delete of peers.dat and re-index and both my MN's show that message. Both are on block 219620 and both on .24 must be that safemode giving us that message

just did a delete peers.dat and -reindex and i'm on block 219594 which is the same as on https://chainz.cryptoid.info/drk/explorer.darkcoin.io has gone dark i'm afraid.
|
|
|
What block are we meant to be on and how to i make sure I'm on the right chain? My MNs have been updated and reindexed but their showing as 219587 whilst the darkcoin explorer says were on 219583?
As long as you're on the same block as explorer.darkcoin.io you're good. 502 bad gateway

so far i can tell these three either dont pay MN fees or pay less then required or run unknown masternode versions as of late :
XxDotRpSDzgyAkx3jHkLZD8YYZRwbcjmmA : getting unpaid blocks with unknown masternode version XkETHbymbZgkpjHG3f4Ad8osWg3XkPta5L : paying 20% with masternode version 0.11.1.19+ coinminepl : paying the required 37.5% with unknown masternode version
my pool (coinmine.pl) has upgraded wallet to latest version - it happens from time to time that masternode payment is not to the latest version... feeleep sorry feeleep, i updated my post as i noticed that the records sometimes show unknown masternode version and other times v0.11.1.19+ but in both cases they do show yr paying the full 37.5% it may be that drk.mn recognize it wrongly... anyway - I am open to help if I can thanks .. i'm starting to think its most likely a case of drk.mn not updated yet and giving you ''unknown'' masternode version when yr updated before that site itself updated. something like that .. or its just a glitch in the matrix edit : i did a check with the unknown masternode version and it turns out its running version 0.11.1.21, maybe thats why drk.mn is naming it unknown masternode version "MasternodeIP": "5.9.240.131", "MasternodePort": "9999", "MNPubKey": "XuEDznYmzMivFH6Y8JoAiTXv1tk7A2ymRu", "MNActiveSeconds": "1829", "MNLastSeen": "1423847986", "MNCountry": "Germany", "MNCountryCode": "de", "MNLastReported": "1423848244", "MNLastReportedPubkey": "0", "ActiveCount": "3", "InactiveCount": 0, "UnlistedCount": "1", "Portcheck": { "Result": "open", "SubVer": "/Core:0.11.1.21/",

Sporking on mainnet. I like it. Spork you all!
I don't think ninja site was on .23, so they are behind.
ninja's masternode monitoring section was updated to .23 but their blocks masternode payee section shows % of paid blocks from v.19 or higher so that seems not updated (should say .22 or higher ?)
