6281  Other / Off-topic / Re: use Bitcoin in daily life? on: February 09, 2016, 07:58:09 PM
i would be very happy if i will have ability to use bitcoin, but n my country no business or shops are accepting bitcoins, so i only can you then buy something from internet or gamble with tham

Same here, as in my country I don't find any physical shop that accepts bitcoin as a mode of payment, so its only online for me, but it would be great in future if we can use bitcoins for buying basic stuffs.
6282  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: February 09, 2016, 07:56:17 PM
Yeah, this is the best time to buy bitcoins, price is affordable at a moment, so can collect few more bitcoins and keep it safe in cold storage and hold it for future, as the price would rise up in coming months.
6283  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: February 09, 2016, 07:54:11 PM
I think its really possible but it will be a big investment if you want that, also the bitcoin can fall and than you will lose everything at once. I think in the future it is possible for sure but we have to be patient and you need a lot of bitcoins also.

That's true you need a big investment at the initial stage, and at a moment it is not possible that we only depend on bitcoin for living, as we are not sure what would be the future of bitcoin, so at a moment it is good income as a extra.
6284  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: February 09, 2016, 07:51:52 PM
I think that bitcoin well see a staedy increase in the second half of the year

Due to halving the bitcoin blockand also many companies have become aware of bitcoin possibliities in the end of 2015
everything takes time but  i think that it will rise
Other than halving, the slow economical situations around the globe also will support bitcoin ecosystem to grow. Because bitcoin is one of the attractive alternative investment for all type of investors.

Absolutely right, i totally agree with you. With hard effort bitcoin will rise and there's some factors to come true.
Yeah , invest your bitcoin and hold it, because many people who predict bitcoin will increase the price early.

Yeah, that's the right thing to do, invest your money in bitcoins at a moment as the price have not reached to the moon yet, and this price we can afford to buy few more bitcoins, which can be profitable in future.
6285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ever dreamed about Bitcoin? on: February 09, 2016, 07:49:54 PM
i dreamed that unknown person sent me 1k Bitcoin accidentaly to my address and trying to get his money back, i was confused then i woke up and realized that it just a dream

Lolz, that's a great dream, if that would not be a dream then what would you do? Would you pay him back or refuse to send bitcoins to his wallet? Well that would be interesting decision to make I guess.
6286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you have physical Bitcoins? on: February 09, 2016, 07:47:59 PM
Nopes, I don't have a single physical bitcoin, but really would love to have one in future, I am not sure whether that would be possible for me or not, but at a moment I am just busy in earning digital bitcoins.
6287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: February 09, 2016, 07:46:17 PM
no they dont accept any bitcoin payments as they are against bitcoins
yeah i never heard that any bank accept bitcoin or something else, but i heard that world bank's interested in blockchain, i think blockchain yes but bitcoin unfortunately not, they can't accept it

Exactly, even I haven't heard that any bank accepting bitcoins, and that is not possible, as banks are facing tough competition from bitcoins, so I don't think that banks will come in support of bitcoins in near future.
6288  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: February 09, 2016, 07:44:43 PM
Emm.. that's is easy to answer bro, I wish i could buy a house in another city. But I knew to buy a house need a lot of bitcoin, no problem it is my dream Wink

Yeah, buying a house with bitcoin would be great, and at a moment it won't be possible, but who knows in future the day would come where we could buy a house and a car by using bitcoin as a payment system.
6289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Should you stay or should you go? on: February 09, 2016, 07:42:50 PM
Well I personally think bitcoin has a bright future its just if people take bitcoin on board and actually make use of it

Yeah, bitcoin's future is bright, it just needs to be widely used, and us, who use it, must atleast invite one to join us, that way, we are helping bitcoin, sad to say, some of those prominent person who should always be beside bitcoin, had left,..

I couldn't agree more with you,  we must stay using bitcoin as well. If you want to invite your friends to use bitcoin too, it means firstly you should make them interest with bitcoin. Tell them the advantage of bitcoin that you known.

That's correct, if we don't have perfect knowledge of bitcoins then it would become difficult to convince others, and we are using bitcoins since long time, so at a moment it would be foolish decision if we quit.
6290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: February 09, 2016, 07:40:58 PM
I think yes it is being used for criminal activities, may be drugs or converting black money to white, and it is also used for gambling, which is illegal too, people will use each and every currency which holds value for illegal activities.
6291  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: February 01, 2016, 10:28:09 PM
I don't think now is a good time to invest by buy 1 bitcoin today. the price is not stable from 2 weeks ago, better you wait until the bitcoin price decrease again. and then you buy it.

The price might not dropped below $360 in the next couple of months. It is difficult to know the price so that we can time our buy perfectly.

Anything around $300 would be profitable for future I guess, if the price drops to $300 then we can buy few coins and hold it for future, and looking at the present price I still believe that it is the good time to buy bitcoins as the price would be comparatively higher in future.
6292  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you guess about he future of bitcoin? on: February 01, 2016, 10:24:50 PM
i think that it will become known world wide and more and more people will start using it every day
if you want it to happen, you also need to join to spread and promote bitcoin, like to tell your friends about bitcoin,
it can accelerate that you mentioned

Well its not needed, if the bitcoin will raise to a high amount in the future many people will know it. The news channels will speak about it and the bitcoin is getting more popular everyday, I think the bitcoin will first lower to a low amount and than rise to a high amount.

News channel are spreading negative news about bitcoins, and that is the reason people are not having faith in bitcoin, as people are very much influenced by news they just get carry away with what they listen to, and that is the reason bitcoin is not popular.

the media indeed plays a big role as they are very negative towards anything that has to do with bitcoin as currency. and the average joe's of this world take everything the media says for granted. bitcoin will gain popularity, but the media has damaged people too much with their anti bitcoin campaign. we just needs to have patience. building a solid user base and trust takes years.

Yes and the older generation will always support news and media as they are used to it, and they don't have  habit of going online and searching the information, same thing happened when internet came into existence and people said the same thing that it won't survive longer, today internet has become basic necessity.
6293  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen? on: February 01, 2016, 10:22:14 PM
Its possible but I think its possible in a few years, in about 3 years.
The future is not predictable of course so we will see.
But the bitcoin has a bright future a head of course.

Bitcoin has a great future ahead no doubt about it, but the fact is that it will never replace paper currency, if you compare the users of paper currency with digital currency then bitcoin is nowhere in the list, bitcoin will be more strong in future but it will never replace fiat currency.
6294  Economy / Speculation / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: February 01, 2016, 10:19:26 PM
The future project can be that paypal will allow to trade bitcoins, big shows(like amazon) will integrate bitcoin as the payment method etc.
It's impossible that paypal will officially allow bitcoin. Paypal don't like to deal with his rivals.
If paypal would lift the limits that they put then bitcoin would be less popular, paypal now can't stop bitcoin (even though it is trying by not allowing trading bitcoin for paypal)

I think Bitcoin has a good future. The world is in fact becoming increasingly popular and more people know Bitcoin.
But we have to agree but see. So chances are that it will be popular.

Bitcoin is popular but not in all countries, when it gets popular across the globe then we can say that bitcoin will survive for a longer period of time, at a moment the customer base of bitcoin is not that high, user adoption can make bitcoin more popular in future.
6295  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin worth to you or not... on: February 01, 2016, 10:16:57 PM
Bitcoin is worth to me for many reasons
Online shopping
Online Remittances
Converting it to fiat
Gambling
Trading
And above all now I don't need to use my credit cards for online shopping and don't have to visit banks or WU for online remittances.
6296  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: February 01, 2016, 10:13:33 PM
I won't be quitting my day job any time soon. I can't depend on bitcoin as a full income right now.
So I won't do this just yet, bitcoin just wouldn't be enough to support the life I'm living, besides, bitcoin is just something I do on the side, just a little extra.
I don't use bitcoin on a daily basis, it's more to save up for my future.

Yeah if you have a good job then you should concentrate more on your full time job, earning bitcoin is good as a passive income, but getting totally dependent on bitcoin is not a good idea, and its better to keep on earning bitcoins and keep it safe for the future.

That's true, but I would rather compare my salary to the bitcoins that I am earning, if I am earning good money in bitcoins as compared to my monthly salary then I would surely quit my job and get into bitcoins as a full timer, I will put more efforts in bitcoin as compared to my job.
6297  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: February 01, 2016, 10:11:24 PM
gold is way better than bitcoin to be honest, i think that i would choose it over gold because bitcoin is a better investment than gold i think

Either gold or BTC, which way are you at???
I guess you are biased on your own decision, or I should say you are not even deciding what to choose...
Well, bias is definitely going to come especially since we're a bitcoin forum... what, do you expect that many people to choose gold over bitcoin if there's already many people that support bitcoin here? If you go to a gold forum, then imagine how many people are going to support gold over bitcoin there!

You are right and I think both of them are important have their own value, we are not sure about the future of bitcoin as it is very new as compared to gold, but gold is traditional so we can afford to believe in gold that it will survive longer as compared to bitcoins.

I think its better to diversify our investments and invest in both the products, if we have to suffer loss in one product then at least the other product will recover those losses, and I have more faith in gold as compared to bitcoins.
6298  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: February 01, 2016, 10:09:24 PM
I think most people are seeing bitcoin only as an investment option which is why many replies in this thread says that they don't spend their bitcoins and are saving it for a price increase, which is fine but they don't realize, if they use it wherever they possibly can then that will increase the price much faster.

So buy, save, spend and buy again.

Exactly, there should be a movement in bitcoins, it is useless to hold bitcoins without using it and only hoping that price will reach moon and that would be the right time to sell, if there is a rotation in bitcoins then price would be much higher and stable.

Agreed. It's economics. And as with any economic system things have to be in motion for the system to survive and thrive.

Yeah, and spending bitcoins on regular basis is the right thing to do, I keep on spending my bitcoins on daily basis, as I gamble everyday, not a big amount though, but I do gamble and sometimes I win and sometimes   I loose, but the percentage of loosing is more as compared to winning.
6299  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: February 01, 2016, 10:07:00 PM
Yeah, ok, reading books about how other people made money, or to be more specific, how they say that they made money is one thing, but nothing beats real life experience. You want to know how to make money? Don't look for a specific method. It there was everyone would use it. Get out there and try things, learn things.

Very rightly said mate, there is no formula to get rich, if there would be a formula then everyone of us would be rich, its better that you focus on skills that you have and move ahead with it, if you have some skills that no one else has then you will get rich in a quick time.
6300  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: February 01, 2016, 10:04:18 PM
They are probably trying to manipulate the coin value, so the price will go down and they can buy even more cheap coins
and sell them when the price is high again

You know, this is very likely actually. If you are sure that Bitcoin will stay firm in the future then you decide to buy BTC as much as possible. You start saying that Bitcoin is dead, media spreads the news, price drops, you buy, you win. Then, several years later, you write a book "How I Made My Millions". Simple. )

Yes you are right, and people have more faith in news and media, and that is really sad, people will not try to find on their own but will just follow the news, if people involves themselves by doing some research work on bitcoins, then they would come to know the reality.
