5821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still keep a fiat retirement account? on: March 13, 2016, 05:09:06 PM
If you are a true believer that be dollar and other fiats are doomed should you then cash out your fiat retirement account for btc, metals or real estate?

I have a Roth IRA with some money in it and I am debating on if I should liquidate that or keep contributing to it for the next 30 years.

Yes...why won't we?

Fiat is still the most powerful and hence I am saving for my retirement like any other service class people do.

But I am also a believer of bitcoin, hence I am accumulating more and more bitcoin as possible and not selling ti at all. I believe that saving bitcoin now, will add up some more spice in to my retired life.

Why not to have both? If we can take advantage from both of them the why to choose a single one, I would surely plan my retirement with fiat as I have a strong faith that fiat is not going anywhere in future.

Both are required. Every time depending only on Bitcoin or fiat is not a good option. Keeping both is highly recommended just can earn even if something fails.
5822  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: March 13, 2016, 04:57:55 PM
ya i do spend my bitcoins in my real life to buy some things online and also i  invest some bitcoins for gambling purpose.
what items you buy mate? I want to know people buy what in-line with bitcoin because I was curious. what goods sites that accept bitcoin payments. because I had trouble in finding sites that accept bitcoin

Few sellers of eBay is accepting bitcoin for their products. Most sellers are selling books for bitcoin.
5823  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do you have Bitcoin? on: March 13, 2016, 04:51:26 PM
Bitcoin have a good increase in price, These increase is expected to continue for a long time. As halving is approaching having bitcoin will profit high.
5824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: March 13, 2016, 04:42:09 PM
Of course holding of bitcoin will surely give good profit. Price increase will be felt throughout the life of bitcoin.
5825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: March 13, 2016, 03:39:54 PM
Simply making banks disappear is not possible. Due to the increasing price and the increased adoptions bitcoin usage will increase, but this won't pave path to make banks get disappear.
5826  Other / Off-topic / Re: What else besides Bitcoin r u doing to make money online? on: March 13, 2016, 02:25:11 PM
Before getting into bitcoin, I have been a part in big money ptc which was a scam. Now other than bitcoin no extra earning.
5827  Other / Archival / Re: Should we sell btc? on: March 12, 2016, 09:24:14 AM
Selling now is not a good decision. Selling for the requirement and holding the remaining bitcoin is the best to make profit as halving is fast approaching.
5828  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin rise up to 800$ this year ? on: March 12, 2016, 09:11:44 AM
why not bitcoin can reach more than 800$ this year, you just need waiting until block halving. surely price will jump high, maybe back to 1000$

As said there is much possibility to touch $800 this year due to halving. after halving the price will be around $550 - $650. with gradual increase within this year reaching $800 is not a big deal if the technology supports.
5829  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin value on: March 12, 2016, 09:08:50 AM
The value of bitcoin will keep on growing till the halving occurs, but after halving there are many possibilities that the price will drop down significantly.

Agree but I dont see any reason to a drop after that this happens.

The reason is bitcoin price is always a realistic value. In a short term the price jumps high due to the halving (when the production decreased). Gradually when the circulation of bitcoin is stable the price falls and reaches around $500-$600.
5830  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where do you see bitcoin in 10 years on: March 12, 2016, 08:59:02 AM
The bitcoin technology will be adopted by most of the banks. Bitcoin might get a good recognition from users around the world as a currency equal to the dollar or other physical currencies that we use.

What?
Oh god no! You can't say that!!!
I hope that no bank will use btc! Banks shouldn't use btc, why would we need banks if we got btc?!?!?

With the technology of Bitcoin he means the blockchain, and not Bitcoin the coin. But you don't have to worry about banks adopting Bitcoin. It won't happen as Bitcoin is something they can't control. They will either keep doing their business like they are doing now, or they will just release their own form of digital currency.

Exactly said, Sorry for the confusion. I was indicating the blockchain technology. This technology will be adopted by banks in future.
5831  Economy / Speculation / Re: Oops Price is 425$ Now... on: March 12, 2016, 08:54:14 AM
Now the price is around $415. We are just $10 away from the $425. By the coming week we'll sure reach and cross the respective $425.
5832  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: March 12, 2016, 08:46:29 AM
Its good to not sell any coin now. There is no reason to that so that is very smart. And the value is not that high now.
We all hope that the value will rise in the future and that we can all sell it with profit that will be so nice.
yeah I think the price is not too high. so better save your bitcoin now. except if you need money urgently. you can sell at any price. with calendar notes above $ 400

This is also a better price for selling, previously we sat around the range of $380 for a long time. Now other than the requirement holding of the bitcoins is the best to get good profit on halving.
5833  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: March 12, 2016, 08:37:38 AM
People continue to say bitcoin is dead, due to the usage of bitcoin in illegal activities. I wonder why such bad news getting spread easily than the good things that takes place with bitcoin.
5834  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoins safe? on: March 12, 2016, 08:30:20 AM
Bitcoin is much safer compared to the physical money. The advancement in the technology has made it highly secure and valuable.
5835  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: March 12, 2016, 08:26:50 AM
Paper money will of course exist in the future. Many people need it and that is very important for them especially the older people.
But of course it will reduce. But it wont disappear. That is namely very impossible and Bitcoin will be more used in the future.
nope, I think the paper money will begin to disappear with old man who began to disappear as well. we can not ignore this. we have to admit that fewer people use paper money

What you have quoted is not true. Though bitcoin is used by most of the users paper money will be accepted and will be circulated without limitation in issue of paper money.
5836  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: March 12, 2016, 08:16:12 AM
Much interested to earn the possible bitcoin rather than buying. Bitcoin buying is done when the price falls below $350. I too believe my expectations won't come true.
5837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin+Paypal=death of fiat on: March 12, 2016, 07:41:56 AM
bitcoin and paypal needed fiat money, i dont know why people still believe and have hope one day fiat money will disappear.
Yeah, from my opinion till people use one form of currency(dollar, botcoin or paypal transaction) in their daily life fiat won't die.
5838  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donald Trump & Bitcoin on: March 12, 2016, 07:27:55 AM
Rumors have it that Donald Trump is supportive of Bitcoin, however I'm having trouble finding solid evidence of this. Does anyone have articles or videos from creditable sources?

Would it make any difference if Mr. Trump supports it or not?

I don't think Trump supports bitcoin, already bitcoin doesn't have much acceptance in America again if Trump becomes the President he will make strict regulations on bitcoin usage.
5839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: March 12, 2016, 07:24:39 AM
You better not tell your parents that you are using Bitcoin and what purposes you are suing it for. It will make your life easier if your family doesn't know what you are doing.
lol do you think your family will stop you because using bitcoin? it looks like it was foolish. when I became a parent. for bitcoin does not provide for the loss of my family I will not forbid it.
so the family is not an important issue with the use of bitcoin
some people think bitcoin can harm your life same like what happened to my neighbor.
previously i told him about bitcoin and he looks interested and start buying bitcoin and spend it everything went well.
after a few months his parent tell me to stay away from him and stop teaching useless stuff about bitcoin/internet because he hangout all day long in front of his computer and almost never get out of his room. too bad just my experience.

yes I agree with you but many customer have what problem I don,t know but I have not any problem in bitcoin because when i use bitcoin . I feel very comfortable and very good . I use bitcoin same like  other bank card .

I too feel the same, till date without any problem in transactions and other compatibility issues I'm comfortably using bitcoin. I have never tried large transactions.
5840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto: "Bitcoin can scale larger than the Visa Network" on: March 12, 2016, 07:22:05 AM
It is possible to grow larger than the visa network with the current user rate in accordance to the time of existence.

I would say the bitcoin network definetly could get bigger then the visa network,  and the time of existance is relativly small so it still has time to grow as well.
And if you look on blockchain.info and you see al the transactions already being made.
You realize this is really big already,  the amount of people all over the world that are using it,  we could form a Bitcoin country already!

No need to form such a country to establish our bitcoin. A lot of transactions are being used with blockchain but visa usage is high due to the universal acceptance. But if bitcoin gets universal acceptance, it will be controlled by someone which causes a backing in growth.
