6281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for contributors - coin is currently being tested on the testnet! on: April 29, 2018, 11:20:18 PM
You ignored the one sticky in this forum:
PSA: Altcoin related threads (including ICO's) and ANN's do not belong here

Please move it to the altcoin section using control at lower left.  Also do not bump your thread more than once per 24 hours.
6282  Economy / Lending / Re: newbie question regarding loan on: April 29, 2018, 07:11:31 PM
I am asking because if for example I toke an loan of 0.1 BTC that worth 1000USD and I said i will repay next month and the next month 0.1 BTC worth 1500 USD
so how much i need to return still the 0.1 BTC or 1000 USD?

If you take out the loan in BTC, you need to return the same amount of BTC.

A famous account called dank once got burned by this.  He was taking out small loans and repaying them, but the last time he tried the price skyrocketed and he couldn't pay back.

6283  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: A site listing the different blockchains according to their decentralisation? on: April 29, 2018, 07:08:30 PM
I'm surprised there isn't already an online database of the different blockchains.

Make sure you build it right so that others can easily access the proper information.  Smiley
6284  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Hat Club on: April 29, 2018, 06:53:49 PM
We're trying to raise awareness for Crypto through fashion and help foster mass adoption for the benefit of all HODL'rs. Let me know what you think!

I think you're simply spamming an ecommerce site.  Nowhere do I see where profits are being donated or used to help the crypto community.

Great idea! Nice hats!  I'll drop the link into some of my social media posts.  If more of us do that, the more likely that additional conversations will occur and that awareness builds.  Be part of the wave of crypto!

Ten to one you are an alt of the OP.  :/
6285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Management Company on: April 29, 2018, 06:44:55 PM
Isn't it a wrong board to post this topic (archive). May be your are looking at project development topic (if I am not wrong).

No, Project Development is not for ICO talk.

But this does not belong in Meta.  OP - please move to a different section by control at lower left.
6286  Economy / Reputation / Re: Once upon a time on: April 29, 2018, 06:30:07 PM
2. Is intentional slander a crime? I mean, intentional blaming of a person in something that he didn’t commit and inflicting moral suffering because of that is a crime, isn’t it? In most countries, it IS a crime.

You really have no business citing law if you don't understand a simple concept like slander.
6287  Other / Meta / Re: Banned account i don't know why :( on: April 29, 2018, 05:06:46 PM
Hello guys, someone can help me ? i can't contact the forum moderator Sad

You just ignore the part about requiring patience
6288  Other / Meta / Re: Merit abuse by merit source on: April 29, 2018, 05:05:26 PM
Since I am not sure if this is allowed or not in the forum, let me ask in this thread:  Is it allowed for a merit source to send a lot of merits to announcement threads for coins for which he is the bounty manager and translator of the announcements?

It doesn't look to me like that account is a merit source.  :/
6289  Other / Meta / Re: Merit System And My humble Suggestion (What's Your Own Suggestion?) on: April 29, 2018, 02:58:37 AM
I am just sharing my thought and opinion regarding the merit system.

Meta is for board issues.

Your feelings are not related to this forum.   Undecided
6290  Economy / Reputation / Re: negative trust for no valid reason on: April 29, 2018, 01:56:34 AM
Vod please check this, somebody put me a negative trust but after a private conversation he removed the neg. Trust because he know that we are not an alt account. But sad to say the pharmacist incist to leave the neg .trust without a fair investigation I hope you can help me for this.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3401934.msg35681810#msg35681810

Hey The Pharmacist, look.

I've done all I can do, sorry.  :/
6291  Other / Meta / Re: Merit system should be removed ! on: April 29, 2018, 12:39:33 AM
What needs to be changed?
- Merit hasn't removed the spam, maybe has reduced it, but who knows?

Merit has not been around long enough to effectively reduce spam.
   Undecided

Theymos stated that although it may be abused, eventually the abusers will run out of merit.

Right now there is a market for merit, so people just assume they will be able to buy their way past the wall if they need, so they spam as usual.  Once these sales dry up people will stop spamming.

Just have patience.  Smiley
6292  Other / Off-topic / Re: TMAN - do you want to set up a domain with me on: April 28, 2018, 07:59:53 PM
I've just read this thread on the beginners board. - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3267513.0
I own BiggestCunts.com - how about starting to list some of the guys who just refuse to read anything, and then continue to repeat incorrect information. I'm so tired of this behaviour by new members spamming rubbish.

I would think there are a lot bigger cunts in the world then poor posters on this forum.   Wink
6293  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for sponser/loan on: April 28, 2018, 07:56:25 PM

6294  Economy / Reputation / Re: negative trust for no valid reason on: April 28, 2018, 06:05:25 PM
I am more interested in high profile cases...

Anyway, it's untrusted feedback, so don't worry about it.
6295  Economy / Reputation / Re: negative trust for no valid reason on: April 28, 2018, 03:37:20 PM
it seems that there's a lot of high profile here having a negative trust. most of them appealing that they don't deserve that kind of acquisition due to the DT member who put the neg. trust without having a valid reason or investigation.

Really, can you point out any high profile accounts that have unjustified negative trust?
6296  Other / Meta / Re: Merit system should be removed ! on: April 27, 2018, 08:36:14 PM
no offense but all who have given reply above are already having high merits and im damn sure users who has no merits or less merits will agree with my thread let the comments come then we can decide !

No.

New members do not dictate the rules of our community. What kind of messed up system would that be?
6297  Economy / Lending / Re: Need small loan on: April 27, 2018, 08:34:48 PM
My nickname is worth more than 0,04BTC

Not on this forum.  :/

Next time, pay more attention to the rules when you come to someplace new:

IGNORE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
6298  Economy / Reputation / Re: Check Lauda's untrusted feedback, before you trust her. on: April 27, 2018, 08:29:10 PM
I know all you have replied here.
You know nobody except some made up usernames. People will behave with you the way you behave with them. Tit for tat. Grin

I think he was acknowledging we all had posted our opinions on the subject.   Huh
6299  Other / Meta / Re: How many Legendary and Hero members are there in Bitcointalk? on: April 27, 2018, 07:51:54 PM
Just out of curiosity want to know if there is any figures or data available about ranks? How many each rank members particularly Hero and Legendary members?Any help would be greatly appreciated  Wink
The only way is on Vod's website: http://dev.martinlawrence.ca/bpip/ BitcoinTalk Public Information Project (BPIP), but there you can see only few, no all the Hero/Legendary members.

Website is still rebuilding after hack.  :/

BPIP Parsing Progress:   546,240 (26.35 %)
6300  Other / Meta / Re: About merit summaries on: April 27, 2018, 02:33:23 AM
The way merit is changing this forum is spectacular. Congratulations to theymos and the rest of the team for implementing such a solution.

I am writing nonw because I noticed that when viewing user profiles you will see that the merit summary displayed is within the 120 day range (see reference pic below).

Does this mean that merits sent/received that are not within 120 days of the current date will no longer be viewable by the public (using the actual forum at least)? I was just wondering if whether keeping a historical record of merits, like the way posts are counted, would be helpful in weeding out merit abusers.

Correct, after 120 days, historical merit will be lost.  Theymos has stated interested parties should maintain old data.
