You're going to be so alone, the first place I'd go to if I was rich would be Japan specifically to hit on hot asian girls Cheesy
6282  Economy / Economics / Re: The Stable Long Term BTC Price. on: November 27, 2013, 12:18:36 PM
The BTC/FIAT will never be stable because paper money is always extremely volatile purely because central banks have the ability to print it from thin air, if you want stability trade in cryptocurrency, gold or silver.

But the big currencies don't print from thin air and are stable because they are regulated by central banks. Except for Zimbabwean dollars your argument doesn't fly.

lol 'regulated' by central banks Cheesy

6284  Economy / Economics / Re: I am buying BTC and hold them and even forget about them and in 4 years... on: November 27, 2013, 10:02:07 AM
People are making the mistake of treating Bitcoin like a commodity, in 4 or 5 years paper money could easily collapse and you'll only have 40BTC - 50BTC to play with no one can say for sure how much a 1BTC will be worth to people when our current economic system does collapse but you don't want to make the mistake of valuing things purely in dollars.

yeah, well, i guess that makes the "will BTC reach $100,00." threads more plausible.. but i suspect they mean $100,000 in today's terms. i guess i should respond in those threads that "yeah, that might happen, but it might cost you $150 for a big mac at that point."

I want more Bitcoin, Gold and Silver Cheesy so I couldn't care less about the USD price but that is my point, if the dollar rises continuously in Bitcoin then you can bet that stupidly high living costs will follow soon after and they're already ridiculous as it is at least if you hold something of value you can trade it for essentials when things go to hell.

Fuck no lol Cheesy but if we keep bumping this thread maybe someone else will take a look, I'm learning C++ and SFML currently.

6287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: concerns on the bitcoin system: isn't it TOO perfect? on: November 27, 2013, 08:21:08 AM
If your aware of how Bitcoin itself works generally you'll know it isn't anonymous as people claim ( feel free to correct this explanation if I completely misunderstand Bitcoin guys ) but from what I've seen the receive/send addresses work a lot like I.P Addresses so anybody can view the activity coming from that address and with some digging could find a location. Like with I.P addresses though you can't discover exactly who is behind it and easily track their every move and that is what has law enforcement and loyalists so uppity about Bitcoin because for years they've relied on persistently intrusive systems that demand all your personal information be real and attached to a bank account so they can easily prosecute you.

Bitcoin isn't perfect and there are many other methods that people want to try out which is why the altcoin market is getting ridiculously large too Cheesy user friendliness is also another big problem with Bitcoin and is preventing a lot of people from adopting it good luck getting a store set up entirely on your own without any outside help from programmers who know the code required to make a store.

6291  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this a viable way to make money with bitcoin? on: November 27, 2013, 07:51:40 AM
You would make money in dollars but if you wanted more money in Bitcoins then you'd need to do something else, I've managed to make Bitcoin trading altcoins a bit on the price swings, it depends on what you're after really, I wouldn't consider myself making worthwhile cash in dollars because I know it's getting hyperinflated.
6292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and wealth redistribution, ad absurdum. on: November 26, 2013, 10:33:18 AM
I would love to see them try to force us to do that, with Bitcoin being open source it will be pretty much impossible, we'll find a way around everything just like we did with filesharing, to this day I easily circumvent my ISP's blockade of piratebay and other torrent sites and I'm not even a hacker.
6293  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am a BDSM mistress (it's legal here in the UK) - accepting BTC. Few q's on: November 25, 2013, 05:57:22 PM
There are various payment processors available so be sure to research them, I currently use: https://coinpayments.net/index.php?cmd=home which is purely cryptocurrency ( The paypal is a pass through though I'm not sure how it works because I avoid doing business in fiat ) you can also easily accept altcoins of your choice with these guys which is a big reason why I chose them, they seem pretty liberal with the whole sex thing, they have adult stores on their directory.

. Bitpay

. Mtgox merchant buttons

. You can also get an android bitcoin wallet to make payments in person

I have no idea about forums for sex workers Bitcoin wise but there have been some webcammers about who talk to the community so maybe you could chat to them Smiley
6294  Other / Off-topic / Re: Excessive exercise is more unhealthy than lack of exercise on: November 25, 2013, 04:38:28 PM
In my experience. Thoughts?

You are just lazy

Uh no, he's actually right, it all depends on how you do it, if you just go at it like a maniac in any form of exercise you can easily end up straining a muscle from training too much without taking breaks etc. which will mean you end up being forced to stop and recover and you can't do anything strenuous for awhile.

There are people out there who will develop all kinds of back problems and damage their nerves because they don't bother to take the time to even learn a stretch properly if they aren't careful.

With bitcoin, its very design may make it possible for its support community to move to thwart law enforcement or any resale of the digital tokens.

LOL he just lost all credibility there, why is it that only the Germans of all people have openly stated that Bitcoin is private money?
6296  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US banks warn Fed interest cut could force them to charge depositors on: November 25, 2013, 12:13:31 PM
Bitcoin user not affected ^_^

It seems they don't deem bitcoin as a threat yet. If they do actually decide on charging for deposits, should we expect a burst of interest for Bitcoin with a subsequent explosive growth of its exchange rate? Somebody has recently bought about 1,6% of all coins out there... Is he trying to get ahead of the pack?

I think it's very likely that's what will happen, everyone will start getting sick of the banks and just start buying Bitcoin instead.
6297  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why is Bitcoin not a ponzi/pyramid scheme on: November 25, 2013, 09:51:54 AM
I'm going to re-post this from one of the press threads which was arguing against people like this

Quote

. They don't know what a ponzi scheme is

. They haven't been scammed before or don't know what an actual scam is like

. They don't understand a thing about programming

. They don't know anything about open source software or that Bitcoin is in fact open source

. They directly benefit from the very system Bitcoin is toppling and they hate the idea of it ending

. They don't look up the words they write in the fucking dictionary

I will also say this, if Bitcoin wasn't open source, I would never have taken an interest in it because it would have been exactly like microsoft points or Amazoncoins ( lol ) freeing money from the control of the individual is something that even Monarchs have been struggling to address for centuries because if you look up real history you'll find that entire countries have been usurped by these shadow governments who simple buy up everything with phony money and leave the state powerless and at a dirt cheap price too.

As for the hilarious tulips argument against Bitcoin, they're two completely different things, I don't actually believe that Bitcoin is worth as much as the exchange rate claims, I think what is happening is hyperinflation and the people who cash out of Bitcoin don't understand that.

6299  Other / Off-topic / Re: Behaviour on the Speculation board: women not welcome? on: November 25, 2013, 12:44:09 AM
Just from this post it looks from my point of view you're a hysterical feminist and you need to get a grip and realise there are sexists out there as well as people like me who simply don't give a fuck one way or another, yes, if you're being denied job opportunities etc. then you have every right to rant about it but if some random prick says something it doesn't make the slightest bit of difference in the world whether anyone does something about it or not.

By the way, I watch tons of porn and I'm well aware that's not how most women are in real life because I actually talk to them, be sure to get that moronic stereotype out of your head, bitching about female imagery just makes girls seem like they're projecting their own insecurity about their bodies to me and blaming it on the media.

I really hope you're more intelligent than ktttn and that user is supposed to be a guy.
6300  Economy / Economics / Re: Factors That Make One Cryptocurrency Worth More Than Another on: November 24, 2013, 07:37:25 PM
Don't forget about difficulty, I'd say that actually has an effect on price more than anything else, unless of course there is some big news or technical change that people like which happens.
