6303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't be a hypocrite and admit that you are a gambler on: February 18, 2020, 09:50:23 AM
Gambling basically depends on luck, so when you have 99% assurances due to further studies and experience concerning a prediction, I won't refer to that as gambling. For example, when I have done my research in cryptocurrency and seen the possibility it has to dominate the future and invest into Bitcoin, that's not gambling although if another users blindly follows my choices without carrying out some due diligence then that's gambling since he's totally depending on the outcome of my decision.

Gambling isn't a bad hobby especially when you don't abuse it, the society have made gamblers feel like losers to the extent they hide and aren't open about their passion or occupation. In my understanding if money isn't involves or you're not risking anything valuable for that decision you're making then it's not gambling therefore most of our  childhood decision shouldn't count as a gamble.
6304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 18, 2020, 09:34:21 AM
Very disappointing outcome of the match, Chelsea didn't play that badly to lose 2-0 to united. When I saw the lineup, I was furious but after taking sometime to think, I just hope Lampard's gamble paids off. He rested our top scorer for the champions league game coming soon and started players like Batshuayi which cost use this match with the numerous chances he missed.

A risky decision results in disappointment.
Why should lampard rest his top scorer even though the UCL match they have to play is still next week and this Saturday they still have to play with Tottenham which certainly won't be easy to get points, meaning there is a possibility not get the maximum in 2 EPL matches just to concentrate at UCL.

Well if you ask for my opinion, I'll say based on how we have three important matches back to back, just maybe Lampard isn't taking any chances to avoid an injury to Abraham or maybe him getting exhausted. If he was to play all three matches, then the chances of him performing is reduced most especially as he's still a developing striker.

Probably Giroud will start next match then maybe he'll be substituted for Abraham if the need for a new striker is needed. The champions league is very important to Lampard from his reaction, there's nothing he can do in the premier league to outperform Sarri so i guess that's why he's more focus on advancing in CL.

Giroud had an impact that was worth mentioning, his linkup passes where superb and that brilliant header that got rules out by VAR for offside, just wished he started instead of Batshuayi. Pedro was confused although the match as his presence wasn't not felt.

Mount has been criticized all season but that free kick was something else, more from him in that manner and he might just win back the Chelsea supporters heart. Nevertheless the boys tried their best and it's disappointing to know that Ole was able to beat us in all competition this season.

Ps: Ighalo physicality shouldn't be underestimated, he got alot of goals in him. Congratulations on his debut (which he almost scored).
6307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do some gamblers actually win? on: February 17, 2020, 06:49:27 PM
But often when I am playing dice and I see chat and view stats of some gamblers there are actually some profiles that show profits while some show loss so my question is, do people actually make profits from dice or the stats are misleading or something?

Assuming it wasn't possible for gamblers to win then the gambling industry won't have been recording the level of patronize it's recieving. The stats most time can be deceiving although that doesn't mean they're totally incorrect as we do have gamblers who're winning it big (probably daily) due to their level of professionalism or due ri luck been on their side.

The misleading scenario aren't associated with all gambling sire although there are many who could be said to be guilty of such offense as the stats display could be manipulated to draw in more gamblers. You just have to judge your progress without having to compare with any of the stats display on the site as they can't be relied on.

...
On the other hand, Liverpool's position was further strengthened by the Manchester ban. Because of the Manchester Ban EPL has been lost a strong opponent.
Even then, hope the rest of the teams will play better and create excitation on the field.
What do you mean "EPL has lost a strong opponent"? Huh The ban is only with regards to the UEFA Champions League. It (currently) has no bearing on the EPL at all. It also doesn't come into affect until the NEXT season (2020-2021 season) of UCL football. City are still able to continue playing in the UCL this season.

So no EPL opponent has been "lost" as far as Liverpool are concerned.

I think I'll have to disagree with you (HCP) to agree with Swordsoffreedom. Football is way above what just happens on the field of play as some matches are already won before the game even begins. Phycologically, Manchester city will be affected as the players must have already accepted their fate of not playing in the championship league next season which will definitely affect their performance in the premier league either positively or negatively (although the negative effect is the obvious outcome).

Players will begin forcing their move to clubs which will give them the opportunity to compete at champions level which automatically will destabilize the city team and make them weak and unlikely contenders. Recall what the transfer ban did to Chelsea this season, they automatically were ruled out of the conversation of potential league winners.

What'll be the benefit of competing for a top 4 finish when it's certain you're not getting a champions spot. The likes of Pep, Kevin de bruyne, Sterling etc will likely leave the club.
6309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your recommended ways of gambling. on: February 16, 2020, 05:45:35 AM
If you have some tips which helped you to gamble for years, please share here. I have limited budget but want to gamble for longer duration even I will not make profits.

Get it create a gambling plans that you shall follow irrespective of what your gambling outcome turns out to be whether it's a kiss or profit. Losing is a normal occurrence in gambling so it shouldn't discourage you as those loses are only there to teach you valuable lesson.

Now imagine if those losses weren't present, you won't have asked this question you just did and probably won't be getting the advice you'll be receiving from your follow gamblers on the forum. Back to my advice, get yourself a gambling budget that you shall utilize effectively, as a result you won't over gamble neither will you under gamble.

The Manuel dice is more profitable than auto dicing and also don't be deceive by those statistic you see on gambling sites about those who're online as they can't be relied on to be accurate.
6310  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it correction time? Market down by 8% on: February 15, 2020, 08:46:15 PM
It's already happening, the market has been on a upward trend for quite sometime and it's only healthy it's experiencing this correction at this time as it offers new opportunities for those who missed buying to jump in on the fun. Ethereum has been the most surprising altcoins for me this year and from what I'm seeing it still has more to offer therefore there isn't any need for panic at this small correction it's experiencing.

Thankfully it isn't just ethereum price declining but that of the cryptocurrency market in general therefore it can be concluded, this is just a reaction of traders and short term Investors taking profit from the market. Small corrections like this shouldn't call for any alarm most especially as the year is just beginning, we're not even done with first quarter. There's still time for the market to recover and achieve new milestone.
6311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facts about bounties on: February 15, 2020, 08:39:13 PM
Remember that even good projects that looks promising can still fail but here is what I want you to hold on to, a single bounty project can cover for all your losses, what I meant is 1 project can give you biggest profits even when you've promoted 10 projects that gives nothing, this is why its called BOUNTY.

Isn't that a waste of time, if you're an individual that value his time then you'll realize it's more profitable to promote a bitcoin paying campaign than join over 10 bounties just to profit from one. On the average, most bounty last for 3 months that means it's a total of 30 month for the 10 project.

Now imagine earning approximately just $5 weekly for 30 months that's around $600 you would had earned. Although most bitcoin campaign pays more than this but I'm using this figure for my example since (I think) that's the least you can earn participating in a bitcoin paying campaign based in your rank.

Don't fool yourself wasting time waiting for that jackpot bounties when you can build up you account and enjoy other privileges of the forum like joining a bitcoin paying signature campaign etc.
6312  Other / Meta / Re: Do we need merit sources for low ranks? on: February 15, 2020, 12:33:09 PM
That will be a tough job, you have to read a ton of bullshit spam or useless posts to find a good post that was not merited.

This only is the reason why I disagree with the OP suggestion, have you tried surfing around the altcoin board, trying to find meritable post to award merits to, now I'm not speaking of exceptional post but post which are above average that once you encounter them, without wasting anytime you'll observe the OP put in some time/thought into his post. That's the stress most merit sources especially those focus on this board go through. I won't want that for others.

Merit source should be seen like regular forum users although the only privilege they have is more smerits to spend and that's why they just have to go on with their regular activities on the forum and when they come across worthy post they merit such post.

Ps: I noticed when I try searching for meritable post, it becomes harder to find but when my focus isn't to find such posts, I come across them more frequently.
6313  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use a trading Bot? on: February 15, 2020, 12:16:50 PM
As a newbie, it's highly discourage, trading isn't that hard as people make it look. Basically all you're doing involves buying a coin at price A and later selling that coin at price B, how hard can that be?. Where you might encounter some difficulties is in predicting when is best to buy and when it's best to sell and that's when educating & equipping yourself with the necessary skills and information to predict the market comes in handy.

Relying on bots isn't any different from giving your funds to some random stranger on the web to trade for you just because few testimony has shown engaging yourself with such trader (and in this case, BOT) has been successful. The risk (disadvantage) is much more than the advantage of patronizing them.

Like others have said, learn the process, it's more enjoyable and beneficiary than patronizing any bots. Personally, I haven't traded with any bot although I'm not saying they're totally wrong or scam but majority are since the space is unregulated.
6314  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Own Diligence is recommendable before engange in any Crypto investment on: February 15, 2020, 12:05:55 PM
Understanding the asset before investing in it and having a detailed plan or strategy for that investment is very vital in my opinion. One of the reason Investors and traders fud out of the market is as a result of not having a plan. Most of them gamble into such investment with the hopes of relying on the market or so called professional opinion to make their decision. If you invested with a plan, you won't get carried away when there's FOMO or fud spreading in the community since you'll be focus on following your investment plan.

About understanding the asset, most cryptocurrency enthusiast hardly understand the technology behind their investment vehicles since what motivated them into picking interest into the industry are the numerous success stories of quick money circulating on/offline. For users who understands the technology, hardly before their emotions make a fool out of them since they believe in what the project they're holding is capable of achieving.
6315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 15, 2020, 08:40:01 AM
He should have started thinking about lifting a suitcase from City and heading to his home at Barcelona. What do you think, friend?

That has been my suggestion right from the onset, Pep ideology isn't impacting the team any longer therefore there isn't any need for him to stay at Manchester city for another season irrespective of the ban or not and obviously the ban will motivate his departure. Pep managerial career is built on a third season success, anything more than that usually ends badly.

I don't think him returning to managing Barcelona football club is a great idea although maybe him returning to spain (la liga) will be the best move since the premier league is becoming too complicated for him and don't think there's any other club that can suit his stay of play.

Concerning the fifth position battle, obviously tottenham aren't ruled out of the picture as Mourinho is capable of achieving anything as a manager. But was making an assumption of the table remaining in this manner for the rest of the season.
6316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 15, 2020, 12:24:55 AM
Poor City, it is banned from Champions League for two seasons + a bonus fine of 30 million euros. Too bad, second place or third in EPL doesn't matter then?
BTW, Leicester 0-0 wolves until now

Sheffield united fans must be the happiest fans in the world right now, imagining getting promoted to the premier league and getting a champions league spot immediately, that's even more astonished than what Wolves achieved last season. Irrespective of them appealing their ban, the chances of Sheffield united playing champions league game next season is possible provided they continue in their impressive form for the rest of the season. City's appeal wouldn't stop the ban but might reduce it.

I'll love to see the reaction of City players towards this champions league ban as they play West Ham on Wednesday, Pep must be devastated, city is crumbling slowly, everything seems to be going wrong with the club.
6317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Bitcoin and Altcoins bullish together on: February 14, 2020, 10:09:16 PM
Are we going for a Bull run like 2018, Or this time Bitcoin and altcoins will unleashed separately.

Let take a look at the factors fueling this bull run and that of the 2017/early 2018 bull run. Firstly (speaking of 2017 bull market), the market was already on the verge of a bull run since a year before, bitcoin successfully halved its block reward then the ICO hype came in and every altcoin was bullish as a result of money been poured into the market in their millions as new Investors were attracted to the industry.

Now this current bull market has only one factor which is the halving of bitcoin block reward so obviously the main beneficiary has to be bitcoin. Although for Altcoins not to benefit from the bull market, the market has to be mainly dominated by bitcoin news that's no news regarding altcoins but I doubt that'll be the case since many altcoins has important and bullish development coming in 2020/2021. The like of ethereum etc has bullish news therefore I don't think the market will unleashed separately although only selective altcoins will benefit and not the altcoin market in general.
6318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose the right bounty for Newbie? Get rid of fake/scam project on: February 14, 2020, 09:57:39 PM
Good Day Everyone......

Upon reading on various topic these past few days and referring to my friends advise to choose the correct bounty, i'm a little bit confuse on how can we identify they correct bounty campaign to join with? Are there any series of steps to identify if the project is fake or not? Do we have a checklist on how we can confirm if the project is going to be a fraud?

No there's no checklist and if you do see any don't get decieve as most project listed there are probably done as a means of paid advertisment. Previously you can easily use the managers to identify quality campaign but this days that's not the case since greed has become a common problem in the community and also some projects disguise themselves as legitimate projects, pay huge sum of money to hire this repute campaign manager so their reputation can draw in more patronizers and reach a greater audience so their scam can have an impact.

You just have to be vigilant and apply caution as 90% of the project carrying out bounty are scam while the other 9% will turn out to be shitcoins that can't give you any rewardable return for your time invested in promoting the campaign. The last 1% are the legit ones and there are very rare to find. You just have to be among the lucky few that get an opportunity to participate.
6319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins so fragile compared to Bitcoin? on: February 14, 2020, 09:27:08 PM
Hi friends:
What is the reason for the large fluctuations of altcoins in your view? Why are altcoins so fragile compared to Bitcoin and fluctuating with the smallest news? Of course, I mean the altcoins that have good ideas, professional support,... not the shitcoins.

Simple, bitcoin has gain the trust of the community due to it years of continuous profitable performance, it has always revolves in a circle as it always recover after it decline in price meanwhile since most altcoins are just duplicate of already existing alts, it usually get replace with a new and improved project which kills the former. Meaning, altcoins can't be relied on but bitcoin can be relied on since we only have one bitcoin.

The cryptocurrency market is still influence by emotions meaning most Investors are just emotionally motivated and have no prior knowledge of investing therefore they fud on any negative news and since the altcoin market has more of this type of Investor, it surfers the most.
6320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH could reach $440 if bullish on: February 14, 2020, 09:17:39 PM
ETH is witnessing a massive pump this year and hopefully I wish it to continue, if the bulls continue to reach the next level resistance it may $440. However it is important to remember this is just an indicator,  I believe it has the capability to reach this value by the end of this year.

Ethereum right from time had be speculated to be bullish in 2020, it was very undervalued in 2018/2019 as the development and Dapps built on it was capable of making it worth been valued in four figures. Anything making ethereum been valued below four digits is still a bargaining price as it's still undervalued. It's is capable of surpassing $500 in 2-3 months time and more price gain will follow once the upgrade is completed successfully.

Without the bull market approaching, ethereum would had still recorded massive price increase although the bull market fomo will definitely add more advantage since it'll encourage the buying of cryptocurrency in anticipation of future profits.
