Hey I just imagined that I am God! That should be proof enough for you all to bow down and worship me, right? This guy needs to use air-quotes around the word scientist when he calls himself a computer "scientist".

Bears generally believe the price is going down and try to profit from it. Bulls are optimistic about the price and try to profit from gains. Fish just swim along.

What? The best game wasn't on the list. No game is better than Arma 3. A war simulator, not even a game really. It schools CounterStrike run-and-gunners about real gunfighting. The video linked here is long, but just check out a few mins. in the middle and see how awesome the team play is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8DsaLkAsBg

Just buy bitcoins and spend them?
|
|
|
Let's just ignore the fact that it has been used for years for just that purpose. If WU were half as smart as they are greedy, they would realize that they could capture the bitcoin market in America.

What about an option in the pole for spending? I don't sell, I only spend.

... And then you win. the game? Yes. "First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win." - Mahatma Gandhi

... And then you win.

What in the world are you people even talking about? I've addressed every bizarre point raised in this surreal thread and haven't received a single rational response. ...
Well, you are on bitcointalk.

Well you can expect a big adjustment in the coming week or two..
I agree. The honeymoon can't last forever. But the marriage will grow stronger over the long haul. Wow. That was a weird metaphor. lol, it was weird. But also apt. Is it a bubble. yes. Is that bad. no. They pop then the price goes higher than the bubble. That's good news.

Need I remind you that "they", like you, are just guessing. You may as well do as the Greeks and ask a drugged out teenage girl. There is no Oracle.

My employer gets a vote also, a veto in fact, but if I can make it I will.

Still no sign of my Bitcoin after 32 hours of making the withdrawal request.
Is it showing at your address in the blockchain? You can check at blockexplorer.com Just search using your withdraw address from Mt.Gox.

I think it is worth remembering that this is not a stock and does not perform like one. Stocks have a limit on their growth based on the value of the company, bitcoin does not. Stocks have a minimum valuation below which the company becomes insolvent and collapses. No such thing in bitcoin. Bitcoin works if coins are $10k or $1.

Things like arbitrage and day trading are not low maintenance, but can be profitable. I would do what EvilPanda suggests. Don't buy into a rally, save it for a crash. It really does not matter what the price is when you buy, only the appreciation in value when you spend.

RodeoX, i ment buying bitcoins on stock exchange. Im sorry for mistakes, I dont speak english well Your English is fine. I was confused by the word "stock". Bitcoin does behave like a stock and it is sold on exchanges like a stock, but it is not really a stock.

Hi alex. Can you explain what you mean buy "stocks"? Do you mean the bitcoin price on the exchanges? Thanks. And welcome.

Out-side?? of bitcointalk??
Oh, I don't do that. I went outside once. There was a big burning ball in the sky! F that! I ran back inside.

I know the feeling. Was planning on buying a 5 BTC a few weeks ago, but I decided to wait a bit. Stupid me I did do that. Bought at $137 and I still have regrets. Why didI not buy 100BTC!

Not to butt in on your thread, but how is 13.10? I need to upgrade my thinkpad and have not liked an Ubuntu distro better than 10.10. People are saying that 13.10 is the best yet. Is that true?
