6321  Economy / Securities / Re: In case of platform bankruptcy or piracy?? on: December 19, 2017, 10:44:07 PM
Hello,

I would like to know what happens if the platform I chose goes bankrupt?
1.Are my bitcoins safe anyway if I use a Ledger?
2.Should I use several platforms to minimize the risk?

Thank you!  Smiley
Investment platforms you do mean? If they would goes bankrupt and all of your funds are on inside on their own personal wallet then you cant do nothing and those coins are considered lost already. Bitcoin are completely safe if you do really own they keys of your own wallet. When you do tend to pass it out on other wallet because of investment then the risk would really be always there and cant really be avoided no matter what. Talking on minimizing risk then always chose up the legit and potential investments.
6322  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Warning - Blockchain Wallet Phishing E-Mail! on: December 19, 2017, 09:54:57 PM
Can you screenshot or post here the message content with the email you received? If there is something that needs to fill up with any login information related to blockchain.info. Only Lazy people can't observe and will be hooked with this email especially with those new to bitcoin technology.

Anyway, the big question here why did you get those email from different source? I have a blockchain account but didn't receive any email with some phishing link on it related to blockchain and BitcoinGold. Maybe you use that email in any cloud mining site before, or in any site related to crypto and the database there was sold or hacked.

I add screenshot in my post, but there is some problems with image posting(see more in Meta) so for now is not visible. This mail is from my site and it is public so I get many things like this. But someone is invested a great deal of effort in this,it is look very convincingly on first sight and for some inexperienced user represents a real trap.

Quote
Since the Bitcoin Gold (BTG) hard fork activated on November1st, we've continued to monitor this emerging digital asset and decided to roll out limited support for you!

We're excited to share that as of last week, any user who had a bitcoin balance in their Blockchain wallet when the fork activated will be able to access the same BTC amount in BTG. Keep in mind, bitcoin and BTG are two separate currencies with two different values. What you do with your BTG will not affect your bitcoin balance and vice versa - unless of course you're exchanging one for the other. ? You can store, exchange, and send Bitcoin Gold by clicking on General in the Settings menu of your web wallet. As always, if you choose to continue storing your BTG, you'll maintain full, exclusive access to these funds via your recovery phrase. ? Please note: if you did not have any bitcoin/BTG in your wallet at the time of fork then this option will not be available. ?
As of now I haven't received any such similar emails regarding on bitcoin gold related.Seeing on the email itself you would really able to tell the difference if you do have experienced eyes then for sure you would really notice that thing but if not then you would really fall into the trap. This is just a classic way on phishing out newbies out there which do hurry up on claiming their forked coins. So we should really be aware on these frauds and delete it directly once we do receive it.
6323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another way to earn cryptocurrency on: December 19, 2017, 04:13:12 PM
In my opinion, Signature campaign is the best option to earn good income because every bounty gives 30 to 40% of its share to signatures. You can also earn from social media bounties.

In the forum after the moderators, managers and project dealers. Signature earnings is the one of the proficient way to earn the bitcoin or other tokens. That would be a perfect for the people initially and work effort also does not need bigger, you just need the knowledge of all the crypto currencies financial aspects and technical information. If you share the properly in the perfect thread you can shine in making money in campaigning for long time. Spamming and shit posts will never tolerated by the forum managers all the times.
Bounties will pay in the tokens only that too after the completion of the ICO not before that.
I cant deny the fact that this is the most simpliest jobs to earn bitcoin or coins in bounty campaigns with just being needed a knowledge on cryptocurrencies would really help you out on the task to be done and as being said it might be the simpliest task but would be the hardest to apply because selection would really be difficult because managers would really just choose up the most good post quality posters which means its not anytime a guarantee for you to be chosen and would easily make money this is why we should really do the proper things to be considered.
6324  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Explain the income in bitcoin ? on: December 19, 2017, 02:20:36 PM
This is a legal issue no one has been able to answer me about

If you win bitcoin with investment, it's easy to declare

What about bitcoins you earn from jobs  ( bounties, regular incomes for helping teams in moderation, etc.) ? It is a job and an income but in bitcoin, so how is it considered and declared?

Everyone should understand that every country has different approach or laws regarding taxation and better ask this in the local board you belong for a higher chance of having the full information from your countrymen.. In a country with no regulation like mine,, there is no such thing as declaring or paying tax on cryptocurrency.. I mean we are lucky enough for now but until when is a big question..
Good suggestion which is the best way to do for now which you should post on local board because people residing on that country will surely give you worthy answers. Taxation matter would really be entirely different on each country. Some would be strict some aren't too serious regarding on this matter which means cases would really be entirely different. And your question about on when they would strict and put compliance regarding tax then sooner or later we would really reach that thing.
6325  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Alternatives to Blockchain.info? on: December 19, 2017, 01:37:38 PM
They are clearly the market leaders in terms of online btc wallet.   What are the alternatives?
There are lots and I would say its not actually alternatives since I do consider those things as main wallet and online web wallets are just alternative or add up on the option but storing bitcoin on these wallets is somehow risky though this is why I would suggest Bitcoin core as my main but not all people would really prefer this thing because downloading the entire blockchain will really be pain in the ass which is actually true if you do have crawling internet then skip this one and use electrum instead.
6326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Myetherwallet on: December 18, 2017, 04:24:50 PM
I just found out if there is a fake myetherwallet.
this is very dangerous.
is there any other feature trait to recognize fake myetherwallet?
Good thing that you did able to notice this thing which we should really be careful on accessing those phishing sites similar on myetherwallet site but entirely different when you look up clearly on the letters been used. Sometimes our negligence is the reason why we being hacked because we carelessly input informations even it is already a phishing site. Asking on how to recognize? Just take a look only on the url. If you do see differences from the original site then don't enter any informations on it because it is a 100% phishing site.
6327  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: A big problem in bitcoin ??? on: December 18, 2017, 03:33:44 PM
I think there is no problem in the company and management of bitcoin because they provide excellent service to the customer with good feedbacks.
If there is one thing that the customer concern is the price always fluctuates which you do not know when it will goes up or down.
I don't know on where are your words came from since you are already a Sr. member and still you don't even know bitcoin yet fully. Bitcoin isn't a company nor do being managed by someone. Its a decentralized thing or uncontrollable which means no one would able to make actions on how it was being designed by its creator. I don't see any news regarding on adding up the supply of bitcoin, knowing that it isn't even being completely mined yet and now we are talking on adding it up?  Impossible thing.
6328  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Waves wallet lost seed on: December 18, 2017, 02:18:30 PM
Hello,

I am very stupid. I have never copied/stored my seed from my Waves wallet.
My wallet was on my internet (chrome) under my favorites and was stored in such a way that I only had to provide my password and login name.
Now my cache was cleared OR cookies were deleted and I have to recover my account which is not possible without the seed.

Is there any other way of restoring my wallet? I have quite some coins in there and I am very, very scared that I lost them all.
Is it maybe not possible to recover my cache/undo deletion of cookies and have my wallet back in old stage so that I only have to key in my password?

Also I know I copied my seed on my clipboard, but it was overwritten later and I know the clipboard only saves the last thinbg put on there..

Please help me....
I nice reward for the one who has THE solution.... Cry
Once cache and clipboard been deleted or overwritten then I would sadly say that consider those coins are lost forever since theres no way that you can able to access those wallets again without those seeds. This is just like what happened to me when I'm still a newbie which I do neglect on saving up those seeds or phrases on waves wallet and later on I did realize that I do need to back up it but its too late because I lose those words since I didn't able to save it. This is just a lesson learned for me that's why its always suggested to save up everything.
6329  Economy / Economics / Re: question on long term prices on: December 18, 2017, 01:34:44 PM
Hi, I am new to all this, but help me understand this. If there is a crypto coin that is very useful and has functional value, not just speculative, say it becomes very expensive. What is to stop someone from just creating their own coin that is the almost identical to it, and using it instead, so high prices are not paid for the other coin? How can all these coins maintain high values, when people can just create as many new coins as they want?
There are lots of similar project which do launch on a short period of time and talking about on the similarity then its actually true why those people keep on making the same concept of a previous project why not on just supporting it instead rather than on making a new one. The main reason? because they do like to make money because if people would possibly buy their then they can really easily make money too.Its just like that which a normal thing on the market as of now and knowing creating a new coin is simple. Just do some works and make your coin attractive.
6330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your experience in trading? on: December 17, 2017, 05:26:26 PM
I have not enough money to tray trading, so have no experience about profitable trading, maybe someday Grin Grin

Trading is a best one to get more bitcoin. I was doing of bitcoin trading for more than a year. I had started a trade with 1000$ at first later on with various value. All the time I had get more value as Profit. It trading you should have some patience to get profit.

for me trading is fun, as long as we do not panic when the price drops we just wait quietly the price will rise, if we panic it will not produce results, even we will stress.

Yes you should avoid of stress while do trading. Trading is not a fun buddy. You are investing your money, if you are Millionaire or billionaire you can do trading as fun.You should inverse independent money in trading to avoid of emergency selling and to free from loss.
Emotions do really give big impacts if we do make trades anytime because it would effect on how we do execute our orders.Experiences would really vary on how we do sustain ourself on doing trading and do gain experience and knowledge along the way. I would say its not very an easy thing but once you do get the idea and your trading ways for sure it would really be already an easy thing for you to make good trades. Never give up and don't easily get discourage when you suffer loses because its normal and a part of learning process.
6331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH price going crazy on: December 17, 2017, 04:51:37 PM
I'm more interested what will happen if bitcoin will go down significantly. ETH was stable @ 0.07 during summer and peaked 0.15 vs BTC...
It will just a repeated scene as for my interpretation, if btc fell then alts including Eth will rise high, the value right now is only a glimpse
to what will be the coming value of this project, more things and updates will follow and rising to the moon will be seen maybe next year.
Next year on eth would really be more interesting which we can possibly witness on the new ATH on next year this is why I do accumulate ETH as much as I can as of these days because I do have the feeling that it will blow up even more on its price soon. The main thing why price of ETH is going crazy because its just simply do have the demand. We do all know if theres a demand of a certain coin then prices do really shoot up. This coin signifies doesn't being affected too much on sudden price increase of bitcoin too just like we do normally see on most alts are entirely different.

If you are bored, often at house. Check out this site. https://freebitco.in/?r=10921901
Its nor viruse, or clickbait. Its real way for earning digital vault. Just try it. Sent link to friends and have fun!
Post or reply is completely irrelevant into the topic since that gambling site you do posted isn't really related to the topic and knowing posting referral links are prohibited unless if its being putted on signature space.
Back to topic since I'm a dota player I do love the idea on playing the game and the same time you do play it but I don't know what would be the system for you to make money while playing since we do know on monetizing on gaming industry would through to tournaments.
6333  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Payeer BLOCKING my BTC on: December 17, 2017, 02:58:13 PM
Hello and good night.

I'm minning BTC for some time and now i decided to make my first send transaction.

I always receive my payouts with no problem, but my first send experience was terrible.

I want to send 0.00105 BTC (about 20$ now) and i'm using Payeer wallet and system.

But my problem is, i've watched a lot of videos and read a lot of articles on how to make the transfers with payeer. It's from March, 2017.

Now payeer told me that i can't transfer less than 0.01 BTC o.O I even have those 0.01 BTC on it. I've abou7 0.0045 BTC on the wallet.

What could i do to get my BTCs? Its looks like payeer is blocking my use of it. I would like to transfer to another wallet, Electrum that i created.

Could anyone give me any advise, please?

Thank you!
I'm actually confused on what you are talking on here which as far as I understand payeer doesn't allow for you to transfer $20 (0.0015 on btc value)  if you do have 0.0045 on your wallet then you cant really transfer since they do require or do have the minimal transfer of 0.01 and thinking off on the fees charged on making transfer then I would say you bitcoin holding wont really be sufficient enough to make such transaction. They are not blocking you, you haven't understand their terms for sure.
6334  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why PayPal does not like BitCoin sellers? on: December 17, 2017, 01:45:16 PM
I always think about that that paypal saw bitcoin as a rival to their business model so they would not or will never accept it for any reason whatsoever.
Who knows only time will tell
Its not actually a rival since not all merchants do consider or decided to be adopted on their payment options specially seeing now the current situation regarding on fees and confirmation times. Paypal is confident enough for sure that Bitcoin would just really have its own field than on worrying too much for it to be replaced but well it cant really be avoided for paypal to think up on that way. Lets talk back why paypal doesn't like bitcoin sellers then I would say this is mot likely on personal reasons.

6336  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.info backup phrase and private keys on: December 15, 2017, 05:41:59 AM
I have backed up my Blockchain.info wallet by creating the backup phrase. This didn’t include any display of private key.

I have been able to export the private key for my Etherum address, but not for Bitcoin address (it’s not available from settings  addresses (only edit name and show xpub is).

Question is – if I have my backup phrase, is this all that is needed should blockchain.info get hacked, or do I also need the private keys?

Thanks in advance.

Since you do mention that you created the wallet on this year then having those phrases is all you need just like omega said above. Theres no need to worry as long you do have those phrase incase of site problems you can access that wallet into other. Just remember to keep those phrase to avoid possible problems ahead. Since this question have been answered you should lock this thread to avoid further repetition of answers.
6337  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is it illegal for someone to hack my BTC wallet? on: December 15, 2017, 02:30:47 AM
All of those scenarios look like theft. Problem is the authorities ain't gonna care enough to do anything about it. Those guys are geared to nail single moms taking nappies from the store, not remote crimes of stuff they don't understand.

Yes, I'm not sure if authorities will considered it as a crime. Sometime they will only tell you that they understand your situation but they will tell you that there is still no laws for that kind of crime or maybe just ignore because they don't know or don't have any idea what you're talking to.
This is true which it would really depend on the laws regarding on this matter into your country but majority wont even know that bitcoin does exist or if they do they would neglect you since they cant do nothing and theres no such law regarding to it. In the sense of hacking or stealing your btc wallet it is indeed illegal since it do consider as theft but in legal laws its not been considered . This is why we should really be careful on our wallet for not to be accessed by someone because if it does then you cant do nothing to retrieve it.

Seems to be another way to spam.  Have received two private messages this week spamming.  This last one from a newbie "taistatizwrap".
You are not the only one who do receive these PM's which I have receive some message too but I would say better neglect or delete it directly since usually message have been sent out usually regarding on their ICO or new coin which they are recruiting or convincing you to invest on them.I don't know why they do such thing since they can simply post an ann thread and let the people read up their project.
6339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Token price fall after ICO on: December 14, 2017, 08:40:35 PM
Have there been any tokens where the trading price on exchanges at the very start fell considerably below the ICO price and has not recovered?
And because a lot of developers put a very high price for their product (a lot of profit involved) and then when they launch the token in the market the price of ico simply drops, sometimes these coins fall 2x, 3x I've seen a lot of it already I've been through it too , as buyer and also as a bonus participant.

So many ICOs today besides offering a specific amount of tokens per determined still give a percentage value as a bonus to stimulate a possible purchase and avoid a possible loss of the buyer. A good solution for anyone who has already bought and the price has plummeted and hold it so he does not get in the way.
I don't know why on some coins being set out for each token to be expensive.I don't know whats their basis but mostly when I do tend to make investment or decide to buy up a coin I do usually done it on pre-sale periods and mostly on $0.01 price each even though most of the time price do decrease but when you do buy on those discount zones probability of break even would really be there but depending if the coin you have invested is good enough to recover after being dumped and mostly the reason on this one is on those bounty hunters.
6340  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is Blockchain.info reliable? on: December 14, 2017, 07:29:35 PM
Hi,

As the title says, i wanna know more about that site, since i'm using it at the moment to store some money.

But i've seen a significant amount of very negative reviews about it. However, i keep seeing people recommending it, and it's sometimes referred as one of the best. I really don't know what to think about them. Btw i wonder if some reviews are legit or fake. Should i keep using Blockchain? Or move to something else?

I need to buy some btc and eth right now and Kraken barely works/is taking too much time to verify me. I heard about people who paid for btc but never got anything or had to wait for weeks...
I would rather choose up electrum rather than on Blockchain web wallet. I do feel much safer on using electrum even though blockchain is still good but I don't really like the issues involve on it back in the past specially on security and lost of bitcoin. Back in the past this is my first web wallet which is blockchain which most people will normally suggest it but well this is your own preference on what would suit your needs but if I were you better to use electrum instead.
