6341  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where u use bitcoins? on: August 24, 2016, 03:05:17 PM
I used my Bitcoin in paying monthly bills because if i pay it using Bitcoin i will be able to save a lot of time because i don't need to go to the office to pay the bills. Also if i have extra Bitcoin after i paid my bills, I used those extra to play poker, dice and bet in many sportsbet just to satisfy my gambling addiction.

Your are lucky that you can pay bill with your coins. Our government has not implemented any such option that we can pay in bitcoins. I would like such steps should be taken by the Governments so that everyone can pay bill in bitcoins.
6342  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone booked profit when btc touched $ 400 ? on: August 21, 2016, 03:41:31 PM
Bitcoin will never be accepted as a "real" currency if it continues to fluctuate like it has in the past. Nobody wants to buy $600 worth of currency only to have it drop the next day to $480.

In my opinion, there are a select few people making HUGE money manipulating the market. There should be no reason Bitcoin rises and falls $100's (Sometimes over 100%) in such a short time.

That is true. But when the bitcoin is used more, the market cap will be high, it is more difficult to manipulate.

Yeah on a high market cap it is difficult to manipulate bitcoin prices, as it will be impossible then for few people to be influenced on the bitcoin price.
6343  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Safest way to sell bitcoins? on: August 21, 2016, 03:02:16 PM
Just wondering, would would be the safest way to sell your bitcoins? Is there any platform considered universally "safe" to convert BTC in USD through Paypal, or direct deposit or something? Thank you!

coinbase/circle if you have a bank account to hook up to them.

localbitcoins otherwise

All of the above ways of selling are safe but the safest way to sell the bitcoins is face to face. In this way there is zero percent chance of fraud etc.

6345  Other / Off-topic / Re: When is it useful to borrow bitcoin? on: August 21, 2016, 01:46:23 PM
Probably when you see a good opportunity and need money right now and not to wait on it . You can afford a high interest on the loan since you taking it for a good opportunity you see. It is different on a long or short term loan. So of you know you can make money but if you only had some then you take a short term. If you have an investment in good interest then it can be long term.

I dont agree borrowing should be done on seeing an opportunity . I think borrowing should be avoided and should only be done if you need urgent money and you dont have it at the moment.

6347  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to sell? Or to buy? on: August 21, 2016, 01:27:45 PM
Time to buy now, its price already reach $1,000+ before so it will rise again to that level and maybe more. Just a little patience and we will just hope that there will be no more hacking or something that will make the price go down again.
Past events are no indicator for what will happen in the future.

Other than that, I think we need more than a "little bit" patience in order to reach the $1000 level again. Before that, we need to break through $700 and $800 first.

And I can tell you, this alone will already be a more than difficult target for the price. Especially with the selling pressure we have right now.
Well, we do not need to wait for a short period of time because that is impossible to see some convincing increase of price, but I would say that the price now will not go down below $500, we only need a little push of demand to see another increase of price again but one thing for sure you will make profit if you will not sell your bitcoins.

if u wanna be success here. one advice for u. dont care much on other's guess. just do what u want. if u care much u wil down more and make wrong desicion. If you think price will further go up, then buy more and if you feel price will go down, just sell.
6348  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price hovering around 570-580. Is it a good move to buy? on: August 21, 2016, 01:16:04 PM
Personally I am trying to acquire more coins at this accessible price but not much. I think the current price still has room to fall a bit more, and I will increase my worth of bitcoin to the event that this price gradually decreases.

I thought the same when the price went up to $500 then fell back down to $300. I was waiting for it to drop even lower, but it started rising and never went back to $300 again. The fallout from the Bitfinex hack might have been the last chance to buy coins under $500, and if that's true it's a good move to buy.

I have been hearing a lot people say that it could be the last time we ever get to see a certain price level again, but so far they all have been wrong. We even went below $200 last year. Literally no one was expecting that to happen ever again.
actually just see so many people saying " it could be the last time we ever get to see a certain price level again" when halving just occur, and so far the words is true, after halving there's no more $200 price, even after bitfinex getting hacked, the price still above $500 ,so bitcoin was better from before, having the price falling resistance

The Halving brought the stability in the price and the bitfinex hack did not make bitcoins lose the trust in itself. So We can say that whatever the price is today, it will never go down .
6349  Economy / Speculation / Re: 666 barrier on: August 21, 2016, 12:55:18 PM
By the next halving, bitcoin will cross the 666 barrier.

Bitcoin will be more than $600 by 2020.

Really ? You mean to say by next halving that is by 2020, we shall cross $600 ?
We are already at 580$ and it will be crossed within this month and not after 4 years. Grin
6350  Economy / Speculation / Re: 666 barrier on: August 21, 2016, 12:50:07 PM
I think it was just a coincidence that it was getting stuck at that price. It will move off of that once the price rebounds again.
Eh, it always seems to get stuck at numbers like 420 too.  I think some people place buys at those numbers just to laugh at the chart, or think its a lucky number to go in at or something.

The bitcoin price is about $590 at the moment. So it is not stuck at $420. I think it will rise to $600 soon.
Actually price has already surpassed well above 600$ in few exchanger, i think we will soon see 700$ again after one or two month.

Yes we have to wait for few months to reach 700$. Currently we are just stuck at under 600$ and we need a boost  to futher pump up bitcoin price.
6351  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Update for August 17, 2016 on: August 21, 2016, 12:42:45 PM
stagnation i call for now, until things are cleared from those bad news, then we can go as high as near 1k, and then if we can go above that we will touch 2k for sure with a new ath, i see this happening at the end of this year

bitfinex hack plays a big role as to why the market is slow and going down, that's right, but you're being too optimistic here. there is literally nothing that can justify the price to go up that much this year. even with significant manipulation i can't see the price come even close to the $2000 level. also, i can't even see the price reach $1000 this year.

There was chance of bitcoin price to rise above 1000$ but that is now seems difficult to achieve and the major cause of it is the Bitfinex Hack which led market down
6352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Fucking Chinese on: August 21, 2016, 12:34:25 PM
chines the world second good suppliers and controlling the world market. and now emerging as world number one. how can you say that they do not know way business. i think you have no right to use such a language against any one. so be careful next time thanks.

If we talk in bitcoin prospective, the good thing is that they have lots of miners there and they are united and take collective decisions. and therefore indirectly control the bitcoins supply.

6354  Economy / Services / Re: Searching for escrow on: August 19, 2016, 05:30:00 PM
Hi, I'll be selling my purse.io account in a while and am in need of escrow. The terms are easy to follow, escrow gets the money and the account credentials, gives them to the buyer and once the buyer is ok he releases the BTC to me. Please inquire only if you are reputable.

*0.02BTC is the escrow fee am offering

Hi i think there are few Escrow available who are reliable and offer free of cost service. I myself will recommend SebastianJu as i have heard his honesty from lot of people.

Since there is no Escrow, please let everyone know if you receive the payments. Once anyone confirms the payment is received i will also apply for this job.
6356  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: August 19, 2016, 05:23:27 PM
I prefer to have 20% of my salary being paid in terms of bitcoin, because every month specific amount is being spend upon buying some bitcoin as a investment for future.
this is a good idear!

I think salary should be given in FIAT as most people will believe it is a hassle to convert the coins back to normal currency and then spend because most of the local shops do not accept bitcoin these days.
6357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin moved above $10,000 USD per coin what would you do? on: August 19, 2016, 05:20:01 PM
If one day it happens many will be pleasantly surprised, but I think it is quite unrealistic to expect something like that in the near future. If that were to happen many would probably sell all or most of their coins and the price would be go down very fast.

I personally would sell part of my BTC and other part I saved in case that one day BTC worth much more then 10k $ Smiley

Well it cant be that bitcoin is today at 600$ and you woke up and it reaches suddenly to 10,000 $. This will happen gradually and it can take more than a decade to happen.

loljosh you can't compete with others in this day and age, you are AFK for ages, come back and say bump or along those lines & disappear again so how can people trust you anymore ?

I don't see that as a problem as long as he didn't scam anyone. Just because he hasn't been around isn't a reason for his trust to be questioned.

Yes, he might take few projects and delivers them and them came back. As long as there is no complain, he is good  to be trusted.
Prices are also very reasonable for the Alt-Coin Development.
6360  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: August 15, 2016, 02:39:07 PM
I don't think that bitcoin will ever reach to that price, price will keep on going higher in coming years so I think we should not waste our time in something that's never gonna happen.

I think all possibilities can happen friend if there are elements behind it. Because although this possibility just 0.0001% but it could happen. But if logically think my bitcoin prices will not suddenly drop to $ 1, and there must be a process that we can observe. thanks IMO
As you said bitcoin cant auddenly drop to 1$ , but in time if the price will go down slowly it can reach that price, but in following year it will not gonna happend
It would take about decades or centuries even for that to happen, seeing that bitcoin's future is really bright.
However, when that time happens, I can safely assume that bitcoin would have been a 'normal' thing just like what is paypal right now.

It will not even take decades for the bitcoin price to reduced to $1. It just something which cannot happen unless a big disaster happens and whole block chain is destroyed
