In addition, I will set aside at least four suitable plots for individuals with aerial drones capable of defending and harvesting less than 100 acres.  To be clear, this is just for drones -- not people.  Must contact me by March 2nd.

Have you got any pictures?

I am an old millennial and my parents graduated from university in the late 1920s

i recently read a thread about a "fud" queen

what is a fud Queen? or King?

Fear Uncertainty and Doubt + king or queen

WTF is a millennial?

These are youngters of today that is what I understood from millenial it's like what the generation x youngster stands for in the 90's,the millenial people are so lucky, everything in this generation are quick and instant just like Bitcoin,I think this is what represents them most : bitcoin.

That's what I thought!  So if a millennial is a person who reaches adulthood in the early 2000's how does a person whose parents graduated from university in the 1920's qualify as a millennial?!  Just doing the math quickly in my head, they would have to have been doing the nasty at 90 years old.  One can only hope for this ability.

Can you harvest wheat? Can you defend 3 square miles?
If you can harvest wheat and defend at least 3 square miles, I need you to help DEFEND MY RANCH. My ranch contains a 13,000-acre organic wheat field. And it is under threat.

Perhaps you got here by listening to a libertarian podcast. As libertarians, we often disagree about many things. What we do tend to agree on, though, is that private property, smart work, free trade and voluntary cooperation make everyone better-off.

If you feel the same, I want you to join in an opportunity that could further the cause of human liberty. Even if you're not a libertarian, but you believe in freedom and responsibility and seek a better life, then consider joining us.

I have been a NAP-abiding libertarian since I was thirteen years old. I have also been targeted by several criminal gangs since at least that time. I have laid out my experience, and the evidence that dystopic levels of corruption reach the highest levels of government, military and business, on this site.

For two decades, I had no idea what the reason for this targeting could be. I thought I was being persecuted because of libertarianism for much of my life. That wasn't it. Just two years ago, I found the probable reason -- a 20,000-acre ranch with my name on it. And since then, I have witnessed decisive proof that the theft of this property was the motivation for decades of targeted attacks.

These attacks, and this theft, are acts of aggression against me and my family. Since my ranch was simply stolen, I am simply stealing it back.

And if you think this is all just crazy, then unfortunately I have to agree with you. It is crazy. It is also real. And anyone who has been paying attention for the past decade knows that the world is becoming a crazy place. At a certain point, we all have to ask ourselves, "Do I wait until the craziness targets me, and my family's safety and well-being are threatened, or do I act to defend others like me?"

If chosen to participate, you and your team will be tasked with managing and defending anywhere from 1/5th to 1/2 of my ranch through the 2017 wheat harvest. You should be able, as much as is practical, to work with other groups in the common defense of the entire ranch.

At the end of the harvest, all I ask is that you deposit 10% of the grain in a specified location on the ranch. The rest will be yours to do with as you please. If things work out well, this offer (or a slightly modified version thereof) will be extended for many years.

I will be receiving confidential proposals at my property west of Tulsa from now until March 2nd. It is on the southeast corner of 57th street south and 37th west avenue.

Be prepared to detail your plans to defend my ranch and harvest the wheat thereon. You should consider the following threats: fire, tornado, sniper, blockade, aerial drone, sabotage, electronic warfare and electromagnetic weaponry. You will need a team of at least 6-9 people, and a requisite amount of materiel. Individuals who wish to participate, and who can demonstrate a sufficient ability to contribute, will be placed in an ad-hoc team. And please, starting now, practice good OPSEC and protect your anonymity.

Troll Free Speech is important !

And i am surprised no one cares here.. they have 250 million users (many of them on the forum)

What blows me away is the sheer size of it and popularity and then turning their nose up at their fans.
There is a lot of people out there that would love to have their site or forum as popular.
Shutting it down over "Trolls" ? wow ..just WOW  Roll Eyes

Oh and "Meh" added Wink

It's not that I have anything against movie buffs (though I do think there is something not quite right with them), I just don't want to virtually hang out with them.  Bitcoin people are much more interesting.

I've seen gogreenlight mining blocks for some time now.  I believe I did a calculation of their percentage of the network for an earlier post I made.  I'll see if I can dig it up.  This isn't "news" per se.

6371  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Solo Mining using nicehash on: February 09, 2017, 07:35:55 AM
Good day to you!  Wink
The time has come such a thought,
You can create a pool for mining currency. Buy Power steering nicehash. And send all your pool.

For example for 30 MIN.

I think the probability that you will find a huge block

It remains to create a pool, and calculate profit)))

How do you like the idea?

It's too expensive and the odds will kill your idea quickly.  Better to buy yourself a miner and use it on a solo pool.  At least that way you can heat a room with it while you wait to strike it rich.

6372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for the rich, not the poor on: February 09, 2017, 07:32:12 AM
Bitcoin is no different than any other technology, because it still favors the rich. ^hmmmmmmm^

sadly this is what has happened to this technology lately. and it is mostly because bitcoin is littered with politics, and people who want to take control of it and also many who want to make more money from it.

That's why Dogecoin was invented.  I'm okay with Bitcoin being for the rich and famous  Roll Eyes

i doubt there are many bitcoin users like you!

I'll be more than willing to sell the rich and famous my bitcoin when the time is right.

6374  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: February 09, 2017, 04:09:19 AM
Vanitygen PLUS!

Still working on finding time to finish fiddling with opencl in my vm to compile oclvanitygen properly currently just cpu vanitygen and updated keyconv on windows
linux fully supported with both

VanityGen Plus gives out about 215KKeys/sec on my system, am looking forward to a GPU update when ever it arrives.

You can always use vanitygen and the version code for the coin for which you want to generate an address from the table on this page:

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/List_of_address_prefixes

to create addresses at GPU speeds.  I'm on my phone right now so I can't test the command line syntax to tell you exactly what to type but I've been doing this for a while now to generate a variety of coin addresses using oclvanitygen.

6375  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Unconfirmed for over 48 hours on: February 09, 2017, 03:51:50 AM
I made a transactions over 48 hours ago and it is unconfirmed.  I have been buying BTC since early 2011 at $7.

I've never had an issue with unconfirmed transactions and, I'm not sure what to do.  I used Electrum to  send my coin as I have many times.

I see that I messed up and sent all my BTC which left a tiny fee.  I'm not sure how to backup Electrum and pseudo double spend my coin.

Can anyone with experience help me cancel this transaction?

https://blockchain.info/tx/b84e73ee4e76362c2a950077a94191819ed0713fb5418fd50cafd3d5aa08001d

It already has 11 confirmations.  Are you taking the piss?
6376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the main World currency. Forget About The $ Dollars And € Euros. on: February 08, 2017, 06:02:07 PM
Given that the minimum transaction size is 547 satoshis or 0.00000547 BTC,  there would be a theoretical maximum of 3,839,122,486,289 units of Bitcoin available for spending

the minimum amount of bitcoin to send has changed a couple of times but last time i checked it was 5 thousand something (5400?) satoshi

also to my knowledge this minimum changes based on price of bitcoin and it is there to prevent spamming of 1 satoshi transactions. in other words in a world where everyone is spending bitcoin, price is much higher and if we are about to spend all the units available this minimum will be 1 satoshi (the samallest amount)
this makes the maximum theoretical amount equal to 2,100,000,000,000,000 (ignoring all the lost coins)

My understanding is that this minimum you speak of is set by miners using the fee-filter which can be altered without making changes to Core.

what i am talking about is called "Dust" and it is set in the protocol (although i am not sure whether or not miners can change it though!) but wallets will reject it.

it has changed a lot, and i am not so sure how it is calculated right now it has changed quite a bit (https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/2760) but i think it is now a different way and it is based on minrelaytxfee not a fixed number!

https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/master/src/policy/policy.h#L43-L48

and i guess you were right about the 547 (or 546 satoshi according to this topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1214993.0;all)

Well thanks for looking into that.  I was unable to find a reference to the minimum transaction before I had to run some errands so I was beginning to wonder if I hadn't made something up! Wink

6379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if everyone would use only bitcoin for payments? on: February 08, 2017, 01:02:45 PM
Given that the minimum transaction size is 547 satoshis or 0.00000547 BTC,  there would be a theoretical maximum of 3,839,122,486,289 units of Bitcoin available for spending which probably would not be enough for the world's commercial requirements.  Also, the number of transactions per second is limited by the block size and confirmation time to something like 7 transactions per second.   I did some math but I'm getting more like 6.5 TPS.  This isn't anywhere close to the rate required by world commerce.

I believe this invalidates your question but I will continue:

1) Commerce would cease
2) People worldwide would not be able to obtain the basic requirements of life
3) Rioting and chaos would ensue
4) Zombie apocalypse

Good to know you found a work-around but I'm still wondering what could have caused that strange behaviour.  There must be someone else on this forum who has experience something similar.
