6361  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Vs Lotto on: March 06, 2019, 05:37:39 AM
why the hell would you compare lotto to a crypto ?
He isn't comparing crypto's to lotto but is giving advice to those people that are into lotto betting. He's advising that instead of putting their money into lotto tickets, it's better for them to save and invest to cryptocurrencies.

That's what he's emphasizing, although the title is misleading but if you're going to read the whole context and his point of view, you will understand that he's suggesting the best thing to do for those who keeps on buying lotto tickets.
6362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What to do with Ether after the update? on: March 06, 2019, 05:00:38 AM
I could not find any information on how to get the forked coins. I have some ETH in my Mew wallet but I do not see any other coins in there. Any information regarding that?
There's no new fork coin created after the said hard fork made by ETH. There were debates before that it shouldn't be called hard fork but should be replaced as 'network upgrade' because that's the sole purpose of this hard fork.

And we're into that understand that when there's a hardfork, we all think about new coin creation. But on this case, there's no need to worry about it and there's nothing to claim with this Constantinople hard fork.

After the update, based on the price of ETH at that time I will consider investing in Ethereum. But I think that I will remain to invest in ETH and hold it for the end of this year to expect for the improvement of this market because now the price is stable and ready to pump.
Just invest to ethereum if you think it's future will be great, after the fork I have not seen any significant effect to its price.
6363  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto game with Bitcoin payouts - revenue model on: March 06, 2019, 04:21:31 AM
Do you have this game on beta or it's still an idea until now? Is your game is something like Artifact made by Valve, a Dota 2 card game?

I can't give a definite suggestion now until seeing the game on its sample video. Hoping that soon you can provide that if ever it's already on the launching phase.
6364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Still Bullish Says Analyst as Crypto Token Binance Coin (BNB) Surges 15% on: March 06, 2019, 03:31:01 AM
Sadly, I wasn't able to give attention and interest to binance coin before and now I'm regretting that I didn't acquired it when it was few cents, years ago. And I don't give that attention to those people that gives negative speculations about bitcoin.

I've been always bullish to it and if someone says that bitcoin is still bullish then I'm happy to see that there are 'analysts' or sort of experts that isn't FUDDING around while we're on the bear market.
6365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ANOTHER BAD ONE FOR SIGNATURE BOUNTY! RENTO BOUNTY on: March 06, 2019, 02:44:18 AM
A look on their official website is been rejected by my browser, it keeps bringing up a warning sign that the site is not secured, that someone might want to steal my data or try to hack me. I will love programmers to verify this. The site is on both the Ann thread and bounty.
I'm not a programmer but everyone who can access to their official website can verify this. I verify that the website isn't safe to visit because my browser says so, I didn't proceed to check the website out so be careful if ever there will be one who wants to push it.

It's a manager task to verify tasks to the participants and if he can pay well attention to you, why are you going to stay with that bounty? You should start telling your friend to leave that bounty and look for a better and reliable one.
6366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: March 06, 2019, 01:54:41 AM
3 losing streak for the Lakers, at home still they cannot win.
Lebron is not as explosive as before, though he can still score good figures but he cannot take his team to win.
Every game is a must win for them but once again they wasted that opportunity.
I can't say that they have wasted that opportunity but the one that caught my attention is the posts on social medias. It's like they have been already judged that they are not going to play on the playoffs.

Chances of being there is low and others have concluded that they aren't going to join the playoffs. They still have some remaining games and they have majority of it, unless it's decided this kind of issue won't affect him as a player but probably his mates will.
We cant say that he wont be affected because every player do have that goal on reaching playoffs and would able to play into the finals even how many times
do Lebron done this thing we dont know if he do craves for more but with his current team performance/stats we can already barely presume that they wont able to make it to that spot.
Getting pissed or dismayed would be a normal reaction.
I'm trying to be positive about him but it's just him being an individual and that emotion would be hidden if ever someone interviews him on what he feels that he's not able to reach the playoffs for this year's season.

But being a professional player, I'm guessing that he's planning about the goal for the next season. Since catching up for this season isn't enough and it's more of a failure because he almost missed a lot of games with Lakers.
6367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I sold my Litecoin twice on Cryptopia on: March 06, 2019, 01:20:24 AM
SO how it is going to be? They will come up with zero balances of every wallet and begin new trades here after?

Because I didn't read anything about how much they were lot or any refund if they lost fund.
Base on the articles, every user can view those balances before the hack happens.

And this will be their basis for the reimbursement of those people who have been affected by this hack. This is about the transparency that they are showing to their users and on what are the progresses that happens while they are resuming through read-only.

Though the damaged has been made, on those articles that I've read, they are working on it for those said affected users.
6368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I sold my Litecoin twice on Cryptopia on: March 05, 2019, 11:54:33 AM
No more cryptopia I guess so enjoy your life with that free coin or just keep it in cold storage for longer term. Grin
No, they were back but in read-only.

Cryptopia finally reopens in 'read only' mode showing balances pre-hack

Do you have any decision made now OP?

6370  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Best Type of Bitcoin Wallet? on: March 05, 2019, 09:51:30 AM
The most suggested hardware wallet that you can use is between these two;

I'm personally using Ledger Nano S and my overall rating to it is 10/10.

There are other hardware wallets suggested by https://bitcoin.org/en/wallets/hardware/

Blockchain.com also launched their own hardware wallet named Blockchain Lockbox but is limited to few coins.
6371  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't stress too much due to the bear market on: March 05, 2019, 09:12:49 AM
Many investor are stress with market situation where have invest much money when bitcoin is on higher and keep holding it until price back again, how ever don't worried about bitcoin and altcoin price will back to higher.
Another scenario.

Investors who have witnessed the all time high but never sold during that time because greed has been ticking their minds. And that resulted to higher expectation, it happened to me so I'm sure that it also happened to others.

Now, those people that didn't decide to sell during those times are now waiting for the great retrieval of the market. There's still enough space to see those gains again, we just have to be patient and don't apply too much stress to yourself.
6372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Up and all Grow up ? on: March 05, 2019, 08:36:16 AM
my question is. if there is a bull run when Ethereum, Bitcoin, EOS, Stellar and all other coins are greatly increased, will some of my coins be worth again?
Will a bull run affect the price of my token?
Yes and no.

Yes, base from what I've observed last bull run most of the altcoins were affected and also brought up to that point of increase. And no because if that coin you held is basically dead, there's no way to it to be affected if ever a bull run comes.

Why you haven't sold all of those coins during those times when the market was quite good? most of the bounty rewards now are totally worthless because these projects aren't serious with what they are promoting.

If you will navigate your mouse cursor on the website portion of your profile, yes it is clickable but understand that despite you have included two links, the first one will execute.

As a newbie you cannot put one in your signature
He isn't asking about the signature space but it's about the profile and website space if you will click yours. And it will show like this,

6374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Advise on bountys on: March 04, 2019, 09:47:15 AM
How do I distinguish between reliable and scam bounty? Are there other ways to earn free digital currencies rather than faucet and bounty?
You can offer yourself as a freelancer to earn crypto's (bitcoin, ethereum and other altcoins) depending on your skill set. Just look to the people who have been posting on Services and Marketplace (Altcoins) and gets paid according to their contact/verbal agreement.

The thing is you are just going to get paid with crypto's but the way of exchanging your service and any kind of legal goods are just the same. You just need to be more creative on what your niche is.
6375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffet statement again on: March 04, 2019, 09:04:10 AM
I also hate him for criticizing bitcoin and always giving bad review about bitcoin but that's just being him. I realized that I shouldn't hate him just for doing that and there's an idea that starts to build on my mind that he's probably acting like Jamie Dimon.

He calls it whatever he wants and it's always televized, written on news article, etc. Good or bad publicity for bitcoin is still publicity which I'm taking the good part of it. Maybe, he's too old enough to understand bitcoin and he's really sticking to his tasted way of investing.
6376  Economy / Economics / Re: Iranian gold-backed state cryptocurrency turning out to be fake on: March 04, 2019, 08:17:29 AM
At least this guy isn't posting that stupid cartoons like coinidol or what's his name is
Vladdirescu87

I remember those coins that said to be gold-backed up but never made it so special and popular. So when I hear a project that basically boasts of they are backed up by gold or some assets, I won't believe quickly unless proven and stably operating.
6377  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Vs Lotto on: March 04, 2019, 07:24:26 AM
Someone who's investing in crypto and still does with Lotto is doing it better than fully betting alone with lotto. At least in investing in crypto's you have some proof and hopes that can make it possible because those facts and finds are all valid.

Unlike in lotto, all you have to hope with is luck. Chances of winning on lotto's are pretty low compare to make few with crypto even during the bear market.
6378  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - 🎲 Crypto Casino 🎰 Multi-Currency | Rainbot | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: March 04, 2019, 02:22:45 AM
Hey Box...  Any updates on Bitdice's plans on setting up a sports betting site yet?  The space can't have enough imo.  Espescially for lines shoppers.  Wink

It is in testing and getting closer. The site already has some placeholder stuff for Sports so should be pretty soon.

Cool.  Can I suggest something?  Concentrate on one sport or one aspect that you can outdo every other bookie's odds and start from there rather than trying to be the best right away.

Esports betting is where the future is imho.
This is my preferred sports to bet with too since I'm a gamer although it's not just applicable for gamers but for everyone who's looking to have fun to bet with something new.

To be frankly, I love both the BitDice site and dice game in general, and dice game on the BitDice platform in particular
Everyone here loves BitDice. Smiley

I love dicing, playing it per day, but to be honest, easy wins with dicing, really?
I have never thought that dicing is a easy game to play and win.
Play and win easily, it sounds very unbelievable.
Dice looks easy to play with but winning and going out with enough isn't so easy as they think.
6379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I sold my Litecoin twice on Cryptopia on: March 04, 2019, 01:45:18 AM
It's up on you and what your conscience is telling you right now? there will be people who would say don't care at that bug and just keep all of the amount. But mostly will say that you should start sending it back to them and tell the whole story so they can even solve bugs related to it once they are back and fully operational.

Keep us updated OP if you ever reached cryptopia.
6380  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is difficult to rise above the price of $ 4000?? on: March 02, 2019, 10:20:08 PM
We have hit $4,000 few days ago and it's near to hit $4,200 IIRC.

Let's conclude that the market hasn't fully recovered base on it's price but if we're looking technically and fundamentally, a lot of good things are happening about bitcoin. The news? well it gives affection but I don't think that it fully depends on them. The market is now stand alone and is solely basing it's move to the demand, just don't listen to the bad news a.k.a FUD.
