Just checked their site and for the DECEMBER batch (lol) price is 10k dollars! Yeah, good luck with that  This is tOOOO high. With increased difficulty they have to decrease price a lot. |

It is not GW fault that US authorities scrutinised them with inspectors. Nobody could predict this. If that was not happen they would have deployed most token holders and token might be very expensive. Currently as nobody likes them because of delay. tokens cost little and even dropped to $1 recent weeks. |

Yes.. but then the electricity cost would be about $8,500 a year, and you would need to have the power hookup to support 8400 watts. ... Profiting off of an Innosilicon A5 means that you were able to run it for over a year without competing with a more efficient miner ( Which does not currently exist, but we will see eventually  ) Currently, there is a better chance of getting a ROI with the D3 because of it's price point and current difficulty rate. Once the Innosilicon A5's take over, it's only a matter of time before it costs more to run the D3 then it makes. You are correct, but lesser electricity price is for a particular miner, then lesser power efficiency of A5 over D3 matters, doesn't it? |

I looked into GW first coz he mentioned it in one of his cryptos report back in June '17. why weird?) Even MEW themselves mentioned this case on their facebook. No i didn't hear about RoadtoRoota Theory, but looked into it now - just an example of a conspiracy theory  Clif seems to be an interesting guy, will follow him, thanks for sharing |

Innosilicon just released a video of the Dashmaster A5 (not really in action.. but in physical form at least) https://youtu.be/9nyIewRpB4UThey state in the video that "32.5Gh is achieved with only 720W in our standard default mode. That is over 3 times more power efficient then competition in market" which is actually true. Innosilicon: 32.5Gh / 720W = 0.045139Gh/W Antminer D3: 17Gh / 1200W = 0.0141667Gh/W If the specs check out then inno might still be profitable as a long term investment where as I see the D3 as a short term ROI then trailing off when the difficulty becomes to high to remain profitable. I mean yeah, the ones who bought the first batch of D3's probably will get their ROI soon already.. but in the end.. only the strongest survive! 38 GH/s(+/-8%, in 1250w overclock mode) - which is even better: 0,0304 ! - this is 4.5 times more efficient. But $10k price is still TOO high......  |

I paid a lot of attention and it took Bitmain 3 weeks to sell all D3 from the last batch (november 21-30th). There has not been a december batch yet.

I remember one time I saw a INNOSILICON A5 Dash Miner (They go up to 30GH) in person and I have to say it was a beast. You could quickly mine dash with one but they are very hard to find. If you are just starting to mine I recommend GPU mining or starting with a smaller miner.
Neat trick since Innosilicon is not shipping the A5 yet (though I think they have a video of a PROTOTYPE floating around somewhere). yes, they announced it simutaneously with Bitmain - not to be left behind, but did not manage to ship to the buyers on promised dates. And Bitmain shipped earlier as expected. |
