641  Economy / Reputation / Re: The whole reputation system is pure garbage on: June 22, 2023, 11:07:51 PM
Have to agree with you on that one, on both counts; cops often make arrests based on flimsy evidence and then expect the situation to resolve itself in the court system--and that's a huge pain in the ass for the defendant.

And when talking about DT members....they haven't always acted in good faith, although some of the worst examples of that are either gone from the forum or are no longer on DT.  That's one big difference between cops and DT members; the latter will lose their position if they make too many bad judgements, whereas police officers rarely get fired unless they mess up in a very serious and very public way (like wrongful shootings and such).

Anyhow, I've already said my piece here.  I just came across Latviand's post while reviewing his history and wanted to reply.

Glass houses:

CaRLoSXXX    2016-02-14    Reference    Abusing trust system. I called him out on his worthless collateral and he did not like it. So here's something else for you not to like.

Ninjahitoko    2016-01-25        Spamming negative trust. I've never dealt with this guy except to call his bullshit on a thread he started where he was trying to disguise his negative trust. Fucking cocksucker.

direct.btc    2015-11-24        Total fucking scammer. PM'ed me some silly method of stealing btc from blockchain.info, but it's likely just a way to get malware onto my (and everyone else's) phone. Never had contact with this user before.

idyu    2016-01-23    Reference    Immature little scam bitch, and there is plenty of evidence for this (see reference link). I suggest using EXTREME caution if you choose to deal with this asshole at all. His posts are also usually garbage and he's one for the ignore list.

Armandoreyna12    2017-06-01        Unsolicited PMs about shit I don't want. Go away.

zxctrecaaa    2016-12-08    Reference    Go scam in Zimbabwe, motherfucker.

sheffters    2016-10-16        I have never had dealings with you, and your feedback is a huge lie that you made up. It makes you look like the scammer, dude.

DrahogErusiel    2016-08-22        I had removed my negative trust, even though this user didn't provide proof of getting hacked. He badgered me to remove my feedback in pm's and in the thread where he claimed he was hacked, then he keeps his neg on my trust page. That is truly untrustworthy.

Justin00    2016-06-07        Hacked sold whatever. Do not deal with.

Quickseller    2016-06-07        Escrow scammer with multiple alts, faulty thinking skills, and a host of other negative attributes. Avoid like the bubonic plague.

Candystripes    2016-06-06        Untrusted user. Do not deal with.

ship66    2018-01-19        Lazy one-line shitposter. Cancer to bitcointalk.

ArdiPrabowo    2018-01-19        No-English shitposter.

peterko    2018-01-14        Zero value shitposter.

There are seemingly dozens if not hundreds without any reference or just name calling with a negative trust feedback.

These are no different - just personal opinions:

Report "shit posts" to the moderators.

While I don't agree with the OP's methods, some of those throwing stones in glass houses might want to read this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5394559.msg62401411#msg62401411

and this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5394559.msg62431105#msg62431105

I challenge you to bring your trust feedback left for others down from it's current 3000+ to something more realistic such as say not more than 500 (preferably less than 400 as I have done) that only include a reference link with explanation because quite frankly your trust feedback fit this description:

And when talking about DT members....they haven't always acted in good faith

Yes, it was an emphatic win - Qld Captain Dally Cherry Evans ran the length of the field to tackle a New South Welshman then two minutes later did a near similar run the length of the field in the opposite direction to set up and early try that lifted the team's morale setting up their crushing win.

That's bad advice.  Telegram is full of imposters and scammers, and directing folks to attempt to contact a member there is asking for trouble.  Not to mention, DarkStar_'s telegram account has also been dormant for nearly a month.
Op is neither available on the forum nor available on telegram for about a month. And op has already mentioned that the lending business has been paused. It may happen for the Chipmixer campaign. Cause offline and/or paused the lending after the issue of the Chipmixer.

Either way it's now about twenty hours since the borrower merited your post but they haven't said whether or not they have two active loans or just one.  Have they clarified with you via PM at all?
644  Other / Meta / Re: Easiest way I can remove Wasabi recommendations from all of my past posts? on: June 21, 2023, 10:12:21 PM
How are you going to convince Ninja or anyone else who has archived your posts to also remove your posts from their services?

People are now asking what it is, so you've put a spotlight on the subject.

If it was a signature campaign, are you going to refund the campaign payments you received?

Though I thought the loan has been repaid fully.

The quoted post from the twelth of February would suggest otherwise.

DarkStar_    2022-07-15    Reference    Has an active $400 no collateral loan.

Part of repayment of $115: https://tronscan.org/#/transaction/003e8db879345c62f4cc3e2582c61442a117b07f0020d84199f437f3cd1e7c43

DarkStar, it seems that you skipped entering the previous payment in the spreadsheet from this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3243635.msg61208503#msg61208503

thanks

Received, thank you. My apologies for the mistake - I've updated the spreadsheet now.

Has this borrower repaid their loan taken out last year?  Why I ask is the borrower has now taken out a second loan from another lender for a similar amount to what they have repaid to you.

Your spreadsheet:

Second loan:

shasan    2023-06-20    Reference    165$ active non-collateral loan. Repayment should be made on or before 19th July 2023.

Also, what is your policy regarding borrowers taking out simultaneous loans from multiple lenders?  The second lender states:

3. As I will not take account as collateral, you have to agree that once you take a loan from me, you will not take/apply for any other loan from anyone until you repay the loan.

Naim027 added Mahdirakib that same week:

naim027 Trusts these users' judgement

Too many coincidences...

*Edit*

week 161 - (the week prior) naim027 adds ~90 UID's to their distrust list taking their DT distrust list to exactly 100.

I believe naim027 then set about a slow build of DT votes to get themself to DT 1 by layering votes to eventually get themselves to ten votes without drawing attention to themselves
651  Economy / Reputation / Re: What should I do if I think somebody soon will scam someone? on: June 20, 2023, 08:46:28 AM
You cannot prove anything by just suspecting them to be a scam. Just collect some evidence yet and once you get enough then post a scam accusation here to warn people about those upcoming scam that might happen. If the crime is already happen to someone else then help the victims by providing the necessary proof so that he can file a case to sue those scammers.

But since you seems to have a good trace right there I guess this case need to look at to see if there's a crime committed.

At least we know which Hhampuz to trust:

Naim027 and I worked together for a long time, from 2020 to mid-2021, for a casino. I know him as Sil3ntS0ul. From our long working period together, we have had a good relationship with each other.

No one appears to have searched for Sil3ntS0ul so here goes:

Feel free to ask them at the time when, I (John) and Sil3ntS0ul worked there. After this response, I will not deal with you anymore. The community will judge your negative feedback.

More clearly, cratoon account represents paradice and I was in charge of the account when I worked for them from 2020 to mid-2021

Don't forget to leave them trust feedback.  You should always label them yourself.

What good would my records in the trust do? I am not a member of DT1 or DT2. My reviews won't have any effect. I think so.

Over time, users will see that you are an active member of the Known Alts community and will be able to go back and review your old posts.  Then, they (might) DT trust you.  Over time, you will have built up enough trust that you then qualify for the monthly DT lottery and become DT1.  In the meantime, some of those along the way may already be DT1 and so their DT trust of you will mean you are DT2.  Once that were to occur your previous trust feedback will light up in the "trusted" as opposed to "untrusted" section.

It's a convoluted system, but it's all we've got (and anyone suggesting anything else will usually be shouted down).

Having a look at your DT trust list for this week you have a smattering of users you distrust - I'm not going to tell you who to trust or distrust, however, may I suggest you don't just distrust users from one region (even if that is where you are from)

This:

lovesmayfamilis    2022-05-20    Reference    A rashist bitch who thinks she's above everyone else. A scum who got banned for plagiarism and was shedding crocodile tears here. She was pitied and should have been kicked out of the forum forever. Fucking crap.

won't get you DT trust - comments such as that should be neutral, short and to the point.  (plus the fact they are DT distrusted by you means you just have a grudge against them.

Your only two other trust feedbacks are also negative and although I can't read them based on the first post quoted by me above, I can guess what they say.

If you haven't already done so, have a read of this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5394559.msg62401411#msg62401411 to get a feel for how your trust feed-backs should be and what to look for when clearing out no longer valid posts.

As to your DT list you might want to up the number to (say) ten to spread out who you trust - (just don't expect others to DT trust you because you are trusting them)

656  Economy / Lending / Re: I give Loans USDt with btc or trx collateral on: June 19, 2023, 10:04:23 AM
Many users default to various reasons. If you check the history of the lending section then you would be able to know that the loan has been defaulted. And scam happened too much in 2018/2019 but nowadays it has decreased a lot. And yes I am practicing more and more to minimize being scammed.

My concern stems from the fact I can see that you have active loans going back to 2020 and 2021 and that you will might be scammed whilst looking out for other people.
657  Economy / Lending / Re: I give Loans USDt with btc or trx collateral on: June 19, 2023, 06:58:56 AM
So, if you are legit then you must have to use escrow.

According to your trust feedback page you have something like $10,000 in uncollateralised loans on the books and you seemingly weekly post scam accusations against others who have defaulted - shouldn't you be fixing up your own lending practices first? Or, are your comments meant to serve as a warning to others?
658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Rugby] Union 🏉 League 🏆 Super 6/7s Pro14, Cups & Tours | Olympics | Touch.... on: June 19, 2023, 06:38:58 AM
Yes, I've bet on Toulouse in the past (and that's where the money was this time). Sounds like it was a thrilling game.

I've given up on the Tigers making a late comeback (the Sharks win over the Bulldogs was a foregone conclusion).

In two days time Queensland should wrap up the 2023 season of the State of Origin series with a pounding win against the New South Wales wannabes.

I would like all the following users:
If you ever respected me and thought positively about me then in return I ask the favour to remove me from you trust lists please. Thank you for having me.

It'd save a lot of angst and echo chamber frothing at the mouth if the OP just locked this thread - both are what I would call lost causes.  (The OP and their accused)

Instead of clicking "reply" why not just let it go?
