641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Zynga.com starts accepting Bitcoin ! on: January 04, 2014, 08:16:39 PM
Good news for BTC's. If Netflix join them and Overstocks actually accept BTC's later there will be a wider use and acceptance and possibly a jump in the Bitcoin Price Tongue .
642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Max Keiser rumour: Netflix considering bitcoin on: January 04, 2014, 08:14:02 PM
If this is true then it's a new big company taking it and perhaps wider acceptance. a large amount of Netflix use depend Recurrent Payments which until now aren't available in Direct Client at least.
643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin blockchain data torrent on: January 04, 2014, 08:07:07 PM
Still it doesn't import all the blockchain and need a day or more to get it fully updated. Isn't there a way to add an automatically updating torrent (or a program uploading a new one every few days).
644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How are large mining pools not a threat? on: January 04, 2014, 08:01:35 PM
I think it takes about 4-5 of these large pools (BTCGuild Size) to get the %51 enough for this. Now to get all these people insane and to target the network they benefit from can be considered as a conspiracy theory. also if this is noticed miners will simply leave that pool.
645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You can now use Bitcoin to generate tax revenue for Colerado by buying Marijuana on: January 04, 2014, 07:51:40 PM
Not sure if this can be categorized as good or bad publicity (though it's done legally).
646  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Using Wester Union to sell BTC? on: January 04, 2014, 07:48:18 PM
The thing I know about WU are there FEES. it ranges in high percentages like %10 and higher. Not sure about safety of receiving payment chargebacks or being sued etc... so you better do your own investigations.

648  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any Methods to Put Paypal $ Onto a Cryptocurrency Exchange? on: January 04, 2014, 07:33:05 PM
The only website I know directly accepting PayPal for indirectly buying BitCoins is virwox.com by buying Linden Dollars and then BTC's. there are fees that can be up to 20-30% and they cancel "suspicious" request.
649  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mtgox any better now? on: January 04, 2014, 07:30:06 PM
Of course you can't be sure but I guess the issue isn't with staff or working power but about there USD losses after some accounts got seized and with there inability to send cash to the US as they don't have an account capable of this.
650  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Accepting Bitcoins on eBay? on: January 04, 2014, 07:28:01 PM
I doubt that will happen anytime soon. They used to ban people and close listings using other payment processors like AlertPay before. They accept some sources that they have agreements with regarding fees I think.
651  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Something wrong with cryptsy today? on: January 04, 2014, 06:47:51 PM
Cryptsy sometimes have issues with deposits (Once my YAC had taken hours to be credited after contacting support), Contact them.
652  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: zomg localbitcoins is the best on: January 04, 2014, 06:42:27 PM
got 2.8 btc for like $2100 AUD - current gox price is around 975 AUD
was odd tho.... instead of sending the coins the guy gave me wallet and key.... i sent them off to my address in batches then gave him sum $$.

might of been Tradefortress :p
twas in NSW but the guy wasnt asian.

We now know what happened to some of TF/SR/CryptoLocker funds. Seriously though if this wasn't BTC's I would have said you will get a chargeback in less than an hour.
653  Other / Meta / Re: Someone trying to GUESS? my pasword on bitcointalk[possible attack?] on: January 04, 2014, 06:25:36 PM
Well what is his goal with this ? it looks like that persons just spamming your inbox as using the "forgot my password" function just sends an e-mail and not refreshing the pass (unless you click) and if that person had access to your e-mail it wouldn't require more than one.
Is this some kind of DDOS attack? and doesn't the website have some limitations on it?
654  Other / Meta / Re: Problems with tor and the forum on: January 04, 2014, 06:20:48 PM
The problem is with spammers abusing tor and getting banned (and IP banned) making the node useless with the forum. One of the solutions is automatically un-banning tor nodes but that might increase spamming bots.
655  Other / Meta / Re: Petition freeze avatars indefinitely on: January 04, 2014, 06:17:35 PM
Haha Wink Seriously though it might take "Management" few years to get it back. it's already months with nothing. and it took weeks to get "Management" to put a red 1 line sentence in the avatar adding area.
656  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Derp, 960 Pages of 'Hello' :) on: January 04, 2014, 05:33:02 PM
Hi, That Hard desk of hours should be checked by a microscope  Tongue seriously you should try looking into it as much as you can .
if someone had a time machine and would like to profit,BTC's in 2011 should be a main destination (a btc for 0.02 cents and faucet paying 50 BTC's  Roll Eyes )
657  Economy / Gambling / Re: [ANN] DirectBet – LIVE Sports Betting. Instant Auto Payouts. No Account/Deposit on: January 04, 2014, 05:25:19 PM

658  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Lost BTCTalk account email on: January 04, 2014, 05:10:15 PM
You should PM some global mod or the administrator. Though it might be difficult to convince them to reset the account password but if you just need to remember the E-mail address. they might help.
659  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sports Betting Faucet - Play For Free - BitBook.biz on: January 04, 2014, 05:05:35 PM

660  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This is exactly why I believe in bitcoins ! VISA & Banks are thiefs ! on: January 04, 2014, 04:59:16 PM
This is one of the reasons bitcoins is growing and likely to have some mainstream use, High fees on almost any other method (a % of the amount you send) without doing anything  Angry .while in btc's you optionally pay 0.0001 to miners.
