............. was soll also der FUD?
642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: January 27, 2018, 11:48:46 AM
To the people worried about fungibility, they need to remember that this blacklist via tagging is not centrally enforceable. It is an opt-in tool that exchanges can use to avoid stolen XEM at THEIR discretion.

If coins may be blacklisted, they are not fungible.   It has nothing to do with centralization, opt-in, or discretion.

There mere fact it is possible for anyone to blacklist coins proves the coins are not fungible.

Truly fungible coins cannot be blacklisted.  Look into the Monero literature for more details.

The ignorance displayed in your post is beyond believe. Let me try to clear this up for anyone that is about to believe this.

What they are doing is not actually blacklisting funds. They are writing a service that will automatically send a mosaic, which is what nem's on_chain assets are called, to every account that receives funds from the hacker. All that does is mark the account for other people so THEY can decide whether or not to accept those funds. It's basically like me saying I won't accept iCREBEAKERSs shitty monero because he's spreading FUD. That is my right and it has nothing to do with central authority.
All they are doing is helping others identify hacked funds, that's it. It is up to everyone to decide whether or not to accept them.
They are also not using any central authority to issue said mosaics. Anyone could write a similar service and do the exact same thing and it would again, be up to everyone to accept or not accept those funds.

So go spread your FUD somewhere else.

thanks for your statement. Well appreciated

there was a live stream announced yesterday, but they had some technical issues with the connection...
is a new livestream date announced, yet? Did not find anything

There will be no announcement for today though we are planning to host that session today same time as yesterday because not all issues are certainly resolved. It might not be a failure to drop by and check the Youtube channel out.

they will surely post a summary of the video on here. Or its on youtube to watch it Smiley

I haven't any body post in this thread that they are verified. Could somebody please let me know if they got verified for the KYC yet?
It is concerning that it still says "verification in process" when I login.
I am really excited and looking forward to this ICO and I don't want to miss out on this.
Thanks in advance.

Yes I got verified and actually pretty fast. You got more than a week left, so don't worry

is there any other chance to  join  in  the  whitelist?  it  was closed so fast , many people can not  join in  on time .
Unfortunately there is no other way to join the ICO.  There were more then 100k kyc applications submitted therefore no more further registration available for the whitelist. You can still join the bounty program to earn free tokens or wait until tokens will be released and get listed on the exchanges.

Will the sale happen with an defined cap for each whitelisted investor? since with that amount of applicants. It will get sold out immediately

Altogether Android, iOS and Windows 10 releases should be neat, production quality apps and available from the app stores till end Q1 2018.
First version of the OSM platform API
Planning Q2 2018 (OSM)
Integrate the ODN C# wallet into OSM, to also allow for sending ODN in messages.

Decentralization of messaging nodes.
OBSIDAN WALLETS
Planning Q1 2018 (wallets)
Update Obsidian-Qt (maintenance only)
Port the Stratis Breeze wallet to Obsidian in preparation of Q2
Planning Q2 2018 (wallets)

New quality exchange listings
Integration in payment providers such as coinpayments.net, so that you can go shopping with your ODN.
Planning Q1 2018 (Obsidian/ODN decentralization)
Work with OPL on a framework/agreement how we can make it easy, safe and profitable to build businesses and apps in the Obsidian ecosystem, e.g. by setting up guidelines to use the Obsidian name/logo in projects others build for Obsidian independently.
The goal is to make Obsidian a community-owned project like Bitcoin, where everyone can contribute or base a business on without asking.
Planning Q1/Q2 2018 (research)
Use the upcoming Obsidian paper trading exchange for research in decentralised exchanges and learn how to implement atomic cross-chain transaction"

New website and branding on the way!

Thanks for sharing, especially the roadmap and the website rebranding. Looking forward to this. I really think ODN is special, since it offers a cool and working product.
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] DIMCOIN The Future Of Equity on the Blockchain on: January 26, 2018, 07:27:28 AM
My concern is still the lack of communication from Dimcoin team on Social media etc. Most successful coins/tokens have a team to market their project and keep their investors in the loop on whats going on. Just some simple tweets with pictures of the team behind the scene working away building the project. Community is the key to success and without no information to us investors and potential investors the community will dwindle away.

It seems like one of the simple things that they can do.

Lets give them time, they probably working hard in fulfilling their goals. This is a great project that needs patiency, my guy.

I really think the weekly updates and AMA´s are actually a good approach
649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: January 26, 2018, 07:25:41 AM
NEM has held on to the $0.86 levels for the past few days, but the bulls are unable to push prices above the down trendline.
This is likely to lead to another attempt to break down of $0.86 within a couple of days.
If the bears succeed, a fall to the Jan. 16 lows of $0.55134 is likely. The 20-day EMA has turned down and is likely to complete a bearish crossover if the support breaks.
We don’t find any bullish setups on the XEM/$$$ pair with price trading below the trendline and both the moving averages.
A change in trend will be signaled once it rallies above $1.21.

You never know what the market brings, but in the long run nem never disappoints  Wink

I do a bounty program, someone knows how long to use the avatar and signature, I see that the tokens will be distributed 30 days after the end of tokensale, but the use of avatar and signature would be at the end, on the site we have 39 days of sale, it would be over 39 days of use, correct?

till the end of the token sale should be it
653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Stone - DAG Data-Structured Private Cryptocurrency on: January 25, 2018, 10:09:05 AM
If you want to avoid that a single person creates several accounts / wallets to get more than one airdrop, then you need  proof-of-identity.
For example Jumio provides this proof-of-identity service...

there is a simpler way. Just allow accounts with a certain age to claim the airdrop. like created before the start date of the stone announcement thread.

I think that's something simple and works more than well. But I got no doubt felixando will handle it
654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: January 25, 2018, 08:02:40 AM
B Grade - ETH and EOS.
B- Grade - ADA, NEO and Steem.
C+ Grade - ARK, BTC, BTS, GBYTE, DASH, DCR, IOC, LTC and NEM.
I would presume that on their next rating schedule some of the C+ could potentially get a B-

C Grade - AEON, ASCH , BLK, BLOCK, BURST, BCN, XCP, DOGE, ETC, KMD, LSK, MNR, NAV, NBL, NXS, NXT, PPC, PIVX, QTUM, XRB and XRP.
C- Grade - BCH, CLOAK, DGB, XDN, ETN, FTC, NMC, RDD, SKY, UBQ, VIA, XWC and ZEN.
D+ Grade - AUR, BTG, EMC2, GAME, NLG, MEC, ETP and PURA.
D Grade - EXP, GUP, NVC, POT, QUARK, RISE and SALUS.

its good to see NEM above a lot others. But not giving BTC A rating says it all. But what to expect from people without knowledge about the sphere. Just a nice try to have some sort of power in markets they fear more than everything else
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Stone - DAG Data-Structured Private Cryptocurrency on: January 25, 2018, 07:56:36 AM
Good morning to you all, today will be a small update and recap on recent events/posts, hopefully one of many if i acquire the time to do so. Id like to take this time to earnestly thank my supporters and the people who have been sending supportive and appreciative private messages, also to the donators, development could not continue without you, Thank you.

Distribution

As expressed by a few supporters we have come to the result that we would like to see a substantial plan ahead, which will persist as follows;

30% donators (ending shortly - exact date yet to be announced)
32.5% Airdrop to BTC holders
22.5% Airdrop to existing XRB holders.
10% Givaway (Thread Posters/Twitter Enhancers)
5% Development fund

Stodes (Nodes)

From my findings with the balanced-weighted vote the implementation will not transact in-line in the manner i originally set out to achieve, therefor i have played with the idea of off-chain addresses, t-addresses (Stone) for standard transactions & (zStone) z-addresses, with an exact exchange between paired wallets for an untraceable transaction .My idea further extends to to have Stodes (Nodes), which act as a direct atomic swap 1:1 with Stone & zStone, anyone would be able to see the the swap 1:1 between the two, but no one would be able to see where you have recieved the zStone as it was transacted off-chain.

zStone would not be a seperate currency and not tradable on an exchange, its simply the channel to achieve completely private transactions, with a swap 1:1 with Stone, they would not be worth anymore or any less.

Schematics

                           OFF-CHAIN
        Bob                    ->           Alice
(zStone) Transactions    ->    (zStone)  Received

                              SWAP
Alice                    ->            Ted (Node)      ->          Alice
(zStone) Swap 1:1        ->            Receive/Send       ->    (Stone) Received

Alice receives a private transaction from Bob via zStone, Alice now has 100 zStone, Alice now wants standard Stone, she swaps the 100 zStone for Stone 1:1 via a Stone node. The end result is Alice successfully has completed a private transaction with Bob, and swapped back into the base currency, all within the wallet, this method allows the DAG protocol to still function with its representative method.

Tests

I've been testing the functionality with zkSNARK transactions in a closed server, with positive results, sub ten-second transactions, with privacy.

The following members will take part in testnet, at this stage i do not need any more participants.

Felixando, Thank you for making me part of Testnet group. Looking forward to it.

Suggest on Distribution model.

30% donators (ending shortly - exact date yet to be announced)- I would give fair chance to everyone by announcing exact date when this phase will close
32.5% Airdrop to BTC holders  - I would reconsider distributing to whales rather will distribute to PIVX, DeepOnion, VERGE Holders and restrict to 25%
22.5% Airdrop to existing XRB holders. - Increase 2.5% so total of 25% to XRB holders
10% Givaway (Thread Posters/Twitter Enhancers) - Telegram group join promotions, All social media marketing
5% Development fund - Increase 5% to Dev fund to make sure have enough funds moving forward to develop/ improve/ Market/ Take it to Exchanges etc.

We all greatly appreciate your hard work, vision to take this project up, Again wish you all the best for project success.

Why exactly should he consider PIVX,  DeepOnion,Verge? Those coins even worse distributed than BTC  Cheesy

can you run the masternode from local wallet or vps is recommended?

Hey, you need a static IP, so a VPS server is very much recommended. But the ALQO will still stay on your local wallet and do not have to leave your PC.

coins never stay on a PC or wallet... they stick to a private key... totally unimportant where you are used to look at it...

Thanks for your inputs. I'm trying to set up my MN on Vultr right now.

vultr should work fine.

Today at 20:00 UTC (21:00 German Time) our stream on youtube will go live again. Kaan Hamarat will answer your questions, and we will also speak about some changes that we should consider.

nice really looking forward to it

Yesterday they said on twitter that they are trying to get listed on bigger exchanges.
I hope it comes on cryptopia, or even better: binance  Cheesy
When cryptopia became a bigger exchange? I hope they mean something more serious

with all the new and smaller ones. Cryptopia has proven to be reliable and is actually really getting bigger each day. Sure no major player yet, but quite on a good way

Yep.

I’ve been in since 3 cents. What should I do? Smiley

there won't be any other answer than hold I guess Wink

team in Decent project have worked maximally in managing their project. currently the price this Decent already reach price $ 1.44 USD, the development of this project is indeed very good. i think this token have good a the future.

I think this will be top coin in the future. At least top 15. Great concept and a solid team. I should claim my bounty, since I see I have until March.

Top 15 might be a bit optimistic, but if the platform finds its users, definetly possible. Let's wait for the roadmap coming up
