641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is the difference between TOKEN and COIN on: October 06, 2017, 10:48:38 AM
Hi all,

Can you explain?

Thanks in advance.
Coin basically building on its own network and the assets build in the coin's platform of network, afaik the coin will be more useful rather than the asset because asset just a part from the platform or i'd liked to call that as the feature of the platform itself. You may know the different right now.
642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ico better or nothing on: October 06, 2017, 10:46:34 AM
what ico can affect the market price? and what ico is more risk in comparison with trading as usual
If you are participating in the ico and you should agree about your funds, because in the ico you just like bet at the developers of the coin. That will be a good thing if you are finding a good developer, and remember there is a chance to find the scam icos. And that even worst than got panic sell just in second.
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the Worst ICO You've Ever Seen? on: October 06, 2017, 10:45:06 AM
I'm trying to do research on how to identify bad ICOs, which is much easier to do than identify successful ones.

Obviously you need to wait and see if a project actually generates profits instead of eats investor money to actually know if it successful or not.

But what are some of the most outright scammy ICOs you've ever seen? There's a lot to choose from, so let's hear your worst.

This is one of my faves. They've managed to attract an eye-popping $650 in just under a month!

https://aldoin.com/crowdsale/

I'm writing an ICO analysis of it for a different website, but any guesses as to why this one is particularly offensive? I'd be curious to hear your opinions.

Tothemoon token because the hacked site already distributed the recent news about the possibility of the ttm project to be another project and that was such a crap just copy and paste another project's github code. There are so many badproject such as idice and bankera that already ran by the scammer of the spectrecoin project.

There are some similar icos with this one, But is there an opinion about what makes this better than other decentralized exchange?

Did the shareholders of this get anything after the closure of GLBSE?

No

Actually the people have mined with you did not know the risks of you not paying.  Nowhere did I read you may not be paid for your work.  If that was the case I am sure there would have been far fewer people mining with you.  Most people are in it for making money and more of it.  After the payments got backed up by a week I stopped mining plus the lack of communication.
649  Economy / Marketplace / Bit.Inc Listing on Bitfunder on: December 06, 2012, 01:47:33 AM
bitinc previously listed on GLBSE is now available on bitfunder.  I have not received any asset holder information at this time.  Any shareholders from GLBSE if/when I get the information from GLBSE I will buyback shares at the current price on Bitfunder.  Until that time bitinc will operate and payout based on Bitfunder shares only.  Please help us continue the project and growth of the project for the bitcoin community.

Zyk is the first person I've ever felt the need to ignore. It's like a chipmunk chattering, there's noise but.... it doesn't have meaning that I can decipher and the anthropology team keeps standing around behind me muttering "alien".

So yeah I gave in and did the iggy thing. Just had to, it's like divorcing a nagging shrew so you can shoot yourself in peace and quiet without someone asking you if you cleaned that gun first.

+1 Thanks for the laugh
656  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: [BitcoinMax.com] Closing down on: August 28, 2012, 03:12:50 PM
This is all so annoying.  All of you anti-pirate people, please find a different thread.  This thread is for people involved in bitcoinmax, not for you to spew your endless rage of anti-pirate sentiment.  We're all aware of both sides at this point, so please stop trying to stroke your ego by hijacking threads.

+1
I also think OP should lock thread again to stop the wasted space.  This is for bitcoinmax and it's users.  Thread was unlocked to allow business to occur between site users.  That hasn't been the case in some time again.
657  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: August 28, 2012, 03:00:09 PM
Thank you for not using the service.  This allows those of us who do use the service make more money for the same work and it also allows us to monitor our miners quickly and easily.
658  Economy / Goods / Re: [CLOSED] Silver Dollars for bitcoins- Current melt value on: August 27, 2012, 10:43:20 PM

Just got paid for the 18th, which was, er, over a week ago  Undecided

You're lucky you got paid.  I checked the payment page and it shows all payments made for the 18th except I did not receive mine and it's colored as being paid.
