641  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy] BFL ASICs, + Board Design Underway. on: June 19, 2013, 04:57:48 AM

Similar situation, I have 32 codes that I would be willing to put forward to the group buy if there is a real chance (as in "99%") assembly that provides "ready to run" rigs/boards/blades.

Cheers

I'm still unable to pay with PayPal. Sam has not responded to my emails. Seems like some of their payment scheduling plans backfired a tad. Hope it gets resolved.

Good luck Sam!
Pay with bitcoins.

A lesson I learnt from the bAsic fiasco is never pay with Bitcoins for pre-orders from yet to be proven providers (not saying that they will not deliver)

Cheers
646  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bad News: Avalon ASIC Samples shipped, BUT... on: June 10, 2013, 07:04:42 AM
I was under impression that there are only two distinct designs developing right now, BkkCoins and burnin, and that all other developers are basically cloning their designs. Is this not true? Shouldn't it then be priority to get sample chips to these two? What is the point sending the same amount of sample chips to BkkCoins and some other guy who is waiting for BkkCoins to finish his testing and order the PCB following that design?

I have to agreed on this ...this 2 individuals should be the primary guys with more sample chips Smiley

+1 on this. I think the chip delivery should be prioritized so that both of these guys get the bulk of the chips first

When does the 7 day payment window close Monday? Was it at 1600 CET ?

Thanks

Hi,

They must be paid before 18:00 CET on Monday. You can still sell them but we must have payment within the window.
It is possible to match up orders already made. For example if someone has already made and paid for an order they can still be matched to your pre-order.

Thanks

What would the recommended difficulty be for an Avalon (66GH)?

Thanks
I think it is somewhere between 32 and 64. I would start with 48 or so... And then looking to be sending about 8 to 15 shares a minute. This is DGM so that is more then enough...

EDIT: I see that luck code was implemented  Grin

Thanks.

btw, what luck code are you referring?

AV2 @ 256MHz, 655Watts.

goxed,

did you measure this on 120V?

spiccioli
yes, 120V.

I have my DHL tracking stuck at "Shipping Information Received" for the past 2 days. Did you see the same on yours?

thanks
653  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [2] countdown! on: May 29, 2013, 02:29:26 AM
Delivered today Smiley

Congrats!

Did the status on the website change? (when you log into the avalon store). Or it still says "processing"?

Yes, status changed to completed and there was tracking number provided in the order note
654  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [2] countdown! on: May 28, 2013, 02:39:01 PM
Good news guys. They have indeed started shipping the remaining second batch. Just got a DHL tracking number. Order was placed on the 3rd. Fingers crossed that the unit arrives in a good condition.

Cheers

I really hope this is true.  May the gods of uninterrupted packaging, shipping and logistics smile upon us and grant us everlasting low difficulties and high hash rates.  May they strike down Butterfly Labs with furious anger and might, and may all Jalapenos, singles, and minirigs spontaneously combust before ever leaving Kansas City.  And fuck all the other guys too.

Amen! Lolz

Me too, e-mail confirmed, and filled in order page with status processing.

I guess all of you had placed orders with an account, and once you log into the account you could
always see those orders?

But what about the rest of us, who had to place an order as Guest (due to the who ordering debacle with
Walletbit), has anybody of those orders received any confirmation from Avalon (other than the communication with Walletbit)?

Here too, nothing at the Order Page and nothing heard so far.. anyone here who ordered as guest and DID receive anything?

Yes, ordered as guest ID, had nothing in the store and received no communication only until last week

657  Economy / Speculation / Re: Alright, be totally honest: who saw this one coming? on: May 27, 2013, 02:38:00 PM
My 2 cents... I've been observing these trends and a lot of these mini jumps coincides with the Avalon miners/chips buying. In a low volume market any kind of buying tends to move it easily. The current Avalon batches 10,000 each batch (around USD100k) are selling out quite easily
658  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Ann]Purchase ASIC chips and assembly now: Batch 3 ordered, 1,497 chips left. on: May 25, 2013, 03:10:21 AM
Order placed, payment made and email sent.

659  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Klondike Indonesia (Canadian Montessori Schools / Big Picture Montessori) on: May 24, 2013, 07:15:02 PM
HI OP. I have some Indonesian friends/ex-colleagues that used to work with me in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.
Will tell them about your new site/product. Hope to talk to you if you come to Kuala Lumpur.

Not sure when I would have time to head up to KL but we will see. Never know if there is a Montessori Conference in KL or something I could meet up with people there once I get something worth showing. You can drop me an Email if you want to discuss things further. There are people organizing builds in Thailand and the Philippines as far as I know it be great to get Singapore and Malaysia going as well.

Do drop me an PM if you guys decide to meet up in KL :-) Would be great just to chat up.

Cheers
