Everyone seems more excited now than the last time we made a run at 420. Since then we dropped about 100.

What makes this time any different?

BTC looking a bit top heavy...  Shocked

Veterans day today is a bank holiday in the United States, and likely to cut funding via wire into the exchanges for tomorrow (Wednesday).

I would expect an infusion of FIAT into the exchanges on Thursday.

New FinCEN statement today that actually looks bullish: http://www.fincen.gov/news_room/nr/html/20141110.html

Oddly, one of the few instances where you can arbitrage.  Bitfinex is lower than BTC-e.   Thinking of going all in on Finex then cashing out at BTC-e.

Not sure if the confirmations will be fast enough.

First world countries really don't need Bitcoin in the immediate future.  Waiting for the next global recession could take awhile.

It's the third world countries that need Bitcoin due to no banking and expensive remittance fees.

"foreign law enforcement authorities" imaged the Silk Road 2.0 server on May 30—which means the site was allowed to continue to operate for five more months while the FBI, HSI, and partner law enforcement organizations gathered data.[/b]"
That's wise of them to have done that, why should that surprise anyone?

Nah, just people here bragging about still using Agora because its "working just fine."  Unbelievable fail Roll Eyes

Agora has never once been hacked, just like it's sister site bitcoinfog. It's pretty clear they're on another level to Silkroad, got hacked twice, makes public statements taunting the FBI etc etc

Give the politicians their empty win. They won the war on dark markets Grin

Won one battle, but losing the war.

OTC chart today for local bitcoins shows no drop in demand for BTC suggesting the SR 2.0 bust was a non-factor, aside from making a few headlines.

The escrow function never worked so it was not a safe place to do business.
