By the way, the absence of Adam starts to be worring.

I guess (and hope) he has just taken a vacation from bitcoin trading.

I rarely ignore legends but.....you seem a little unpleasant to talk to. Reminding me of our old pal shroomsy.
I mean seriously, folks complaining about a criminal drug dealer getting arrested. Maybe you never had a relative die from addiction. I have the high moral ground on this point.

Which is?
I'm not hear to hold your hand. I made declarative statements as responses that were quoted out of context. I don't need to repeat myself.

Deary me, it was the first post I have read today.

Sorry for your loss.

Cannot see what the moral high ground you are talking about is.

Seems to me your relative decided to take drugs and the society he lived in, did not make it easier for him to get the help he needed, you actually could have the moral highground on that basis.

No need to hold my hand thank you, just a sensible reply would have been suffice.

Also I think most people are just surprised at how daft these operators were.

And by the way, the drug laws are all going to change.

Good observation.

One problem with defining trends via points of contact (or similarly, as channels) is that there is usually more than one way to define them that way, and in many cases, breaking out of one of them leads to price staying within the confines of the next (plausible) one.

Doesn't mean the approach is wrong or useless, but that it has to be seen in context. Here's the point I'm trying to make, with sound effects Cheesy

Thanks for this, Oda

I think the sound affect instead of 'Break' should be something like Zing...or Zoom...

yeah, this market clearly can't decide if it's a breakout or not. I'm personally much more interested in the bitstamp order book, which is looking much healthier now, 20k coins to $100 and 16k coiins to $1000. Not that there aren't more hidden orders, but it's looking a lot better than a month ago.

In other news, did anyone else notice the amazing DRK action today? +40% in 24 hours, not bad.

3. They busted it mid October and have been running a honey pot ever since.

"[After saying "OHAI, can I b admin 2?!"] the investigator was a paid staff member, receiving 16 payments in Bitcoins totalling about $32,189 based on current exchange rates.

With that level of authorized access—and with communications directly with Benthall—the FBI and HSI would have been able to gather evidence directly from the site’s server and then use other measures to de-anonymize the individuals associated with it. It’s possible that the investigators may have allowed the site to continue to operate for a period of time to act as a “honeypot” to gain further information about transactions being passed through the marketplace. According to the criminal complaint, "foreign law enforcement authorities" imaged the Silk Road 2.0 server on May 30—which means the site was allowed to continue to operate for five more months while the FBI, HSI, and partner law enforcement organizations gathered data."

+1

I have seen "drugs" ruin the lives of several young guys and their families.  "Drugs" meaning, to be explicit, those "friends" who push people into drug addiction, and the drug dealers who then exploit their addiction and push them into crime to support it.

I am all for legalizing pot and decriminalizing drug use.  But still I hope that Shrem, Ulbricht, Benthall, and all otehr people in the drug traffic "industry" will spend a good part of their lives in jail.

That's wise of them to have done that, why should that surprise anyone?

I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked, dragging themselves through the negro streets at dawn looking for an angry fix

Bottomline, some people can handle drugs, others can't.

And to some, the conclusion obviously is: Must forbid for everyone what can't be handled responsibly by some.

Never ordered on any of them, but I'm glad they exist. Fuck hypocritical, out-of-proportion 'war on drugs' rhetoric, where the real solution is teaching responsible usage to your children, and providing care for those who suffered from and can't get out of an abusive relation with drugs.

But nah. Prohibition is clearly superior.

Junk is the ideal product... the ultimate merchandise. No sales talk necessary. The client will crawl through a sewer and beg to buy.

The predicament being a Bitcoin bagholder, huh?

And you don't really get to complain about knee jerk reactions if what you write is the argumentative equivalent of a Taylor reflex hammer. I'm sure inside your head, it's all beautifully subtle and sophisticated, but to the outside world, it sounds like a crude answer to a delicate problem.

Lol, seeing answers when none are given, seeing enemies where there are none.  Typical Bitcoiner.
