641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New Bitcoin pump before 3K on: October 12, 2018, 07:46:14 AM
No one has doubts that what happened yesterday is another manipulation to shake away the "weak hends" of investors. The price of Bitcoin has reached the bottom and now - before November - we all know that every year prices of all coins grow before the end of the year. Stay calm hodlers!

There could be a few minor shake outs before the next uptrend occurs which could result in some volatility before the years out so be prepared for anything but stay calm indeed Grin
642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth the work and waiting? on: October 12, 2018, 07:18:23 AM
Not all signature campaigns provide decent rewards but if you choose carefully you can find some that do but its a bit of a lucky dip really

When you're working on a campaign make sure you constantly review a projects viability and don't hesitate to change to another one if it's not demonstrating sufficient progress that way you'll maximize your chances of success
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I need some Altcoin to hold longterm :D on: October 12, 2018, 05:23:13 AM
Hi everyone,
Im a newbie, i just known about Bitcoin in 1 month. I decided to spend my money that i have saved for a long time in Bitcoin. Please tell me some name of Altcoin, i want hold it until i marry.

Thanks for all response

On the safe side just stick to the top assets if you're new to all this as you'll be able to learn about how the market works from those first

Alternatively you could try researching to find some low marketcap assets that have an active team, strong community and good tech and invest in those if they're over sold or represent decent value propositions long term
644  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin reach atleast $10,000 ? on: October 12, 2018, 04:43:26 AM
Considering all the ups and downs which we are witnessing from last 8 months do you still think that bitcoin will atleast reach the value of $10,000 by breaking the boundary of $6,000 to $7,000 which is going on from the long time.

Approximately one month in that narrow a price range is not really a long time but there's probably going to be a little bit of a wait before the market picks up

There's good developments starting from November onwards but it's possible that the market will stay bottomed out until early next year judging by the current indicators

646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Very soon we will see a new wave of market growth!!! on: October 10, 2018, 07:26:14 AM
I believe in the cryptocurrency market and believe in its huge potential. Though now and not the best times in the market. But experienced investors understand that this is only a correction of the market, which is a consequence of the significant growth of the market before!  But I think that many newcomers now need support. I wish us all patience! Soon we will see a new wave of growth, there is very little!!! For those who are quite sad reminded that " those who in 2013 and 2014 believed in the basic cryptocurrency ideas and invested very little in crypto-coins, then, a few years later, became super-rich»

Soon may not be the best assumption but it would be safe to say that its very likely to occur eventually

The market is far from mature and interest seems to have waned a little since the bubble burst but the fundamentals are strong and the developments mostly positive so it won't be long before you'll start to see some minor improvements
647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you name or list Altcoin worth to HODL. on: October 10, 2018, 05:52:12 AM
I have been doing my research on which good altcoin to hold, but i also need your opinion on which to hold.

The best advice if you're not trying to make profits too quickly and want to have less risk to manage is simply to invest in the top quality assets only

It's tempting to invest in higher risk/lower market cap assets but make sure you research them thoroughly and only diversify a small percentage of you portfolio into those (optionally)
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs dying off? on: October 10, 2018, 05:03:07 AM
"September has seen the least amount of funds raised by #ICOs in more than a year. Are ICOs dying off?"

Chart here: https://twitter.com/Bancor/status/1049690978213404673

The market has stagnated somewhat which is contributing to less funds being raised by crowdsales overall but once things start to pick up again this will change plus more realistic funding targets amongst other things are required for the industry to expand further
649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Market is coming on October to December on: October 09, 2018, 06:08:43 AM
Really exciting times. as the bull market would definitely start at anytime soon. Lets just hope that we are backing up the currencies that actually make good use of Blockchain as the underlying tech. But you can never go wrong with Bitcoin.

Sometimes people seem to forget that just as easily as it can go up it can plummet too although the recent relative stability is a positive sign

There's no doubt that assets with good underlying tech will become the most worthwhile investments longer term regardless of bubbles, volatility, media and price manipulation
650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are old coins no more profitable on: October 09, 2018, 05:34:38 AM
Lots of old coins have become obsolete or were just created for pump and dumps reasons or the developers left the project so they became worthless but good quality projects with good innovations did hold there value well and you'll notice they experience a good increase in price periodically

If you keep an eye out in the alternative section you'll notice older projects getting revived now and again and some of those can turn profitable if you get in early enough but that can also depend on market conditions
651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: POSScoin - Hidden Gems x50 - x100 on: October 09, 2018, 04:42:27 AM
Any particular reasons why it might 'moon' such as an upcoming release, new partnerships or team expansion etc?
652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL is the only policy. on: October 09, 2018, 04:14:39 AM
Market is fluctuating today a lot . But I hope it will not continue. So I am applying HODL at this moment.
What is your policy at this current market volatility?

The market tends to fluctuate quite a lot which is normal but HODL is a good strategy if you purchase at a good entry price when good quality low risk assets are over sold such as many are at present and then you'll likely benefit when things begin to improve again
653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum should increase the security for their smart contract concept product on: October 08, 2018, 05:43:43 AM
I think it's noticed by mostly that ethereum smart contract can be easily used by different people and launch a new project right. But what makes me bother was most projects being launch everyday using their platform are found to be scam and just using some stuff to promote it. Quite dissapointing that a product like this with a very smart idea ate being dragged with this hoax activities on crypto space. I hope Buterin can see this ( probably always)  as a threat and negative response from the community. He should add security features on his platform to decrease and limit users who can used it. What I meant is only legit people can used it as for those who will try to use it for scam can be traced easily if they try to do a fraudaulent stuff. Right? Im bet many will agree.

Ethereum's smart contract technology is not designed to control who uses it and for what purposes

Regulation of crowdsales is a separate issue and an area that is likely to be further addressed by the appropriate organizations in each region in due time as the market matures
654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto bring more risk than benefit? on: October 08, 2018, 05:02:58 AM
Due to its unregulated nature the risks still remain relatively high which is a major concern for your average user especially if they don't understand the technology and what it can offer but that will improve in the coming years making it far more adoptable

It's still more of an emerging market for geeks/early adopters/tech-savy investors but retail and institutional investors are increasingly expressing interest as more reliable products and services begin to arrive
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth Worth $30. Is it possible? on: October 08, 2018, 04:30:08 AM
Many people believe That the Ethereum cryptocurrency will still fall in prices. I think she'll be up, but it's gonna take a long time.

I would have to agree with you it won't necessarily happen right away, and the predictions of $1,900 odd by the end of the year more likely will be realized next year

Dropping to $30 is not foreseeable but a moderate increase toward $500 might be possible before the years out if the market conditions improve a little
656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If altcoins don’t takeoff again before Nov, should investors sell & stay away? on: October 03, 2018, 07:22:42 AM
The market is giving indications its near a floor if not there already so there's probably not much further it will decline if only moderately so the risk of holding good quality assets shouldn't be too high just ensure you're choosing the most over sold and not wildly speculative
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency; The future, glory now or later? on: October 03, 2018, 06:08:40 AM
Extinction? That is probably not possible as digital forms of currency will eventually become more popular and accepted as normal forms of payment for everyday use globally

The market will of course change in the future with lots of new types of assets arriving so it won't necessarily look exactly like it does today
658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 99% OF ALL AIRDROPS ARE SCAMS!!!!! on: October 03, 2018, 05:33:58 AM
The title of this thread is bit provocative, but the fact is that most people have a bad experience with airdrops. According to several airdrop hunters I spoke to, the majority ICOs don't pay out at all.

What's your experience with airdrops? Did you get scammed most of the times?

Not all of them are but 99% of projects that don't have a proper website, whitepaper, or team profiles yet alone a decent rating and review predominantly are

If you only apply for the top quality ones you'll find most of them aren't a waste of time and you'll be less exposed with a reputable project if it requires KYC or any personal information
659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: From 150 - To 15 000 $ - ETH (speculation) on: October 03, 2018, 05:05:02 AM
It's nice to wish for huge returns but for Ethereum to become more valuable it still has many issues to overcome with scalability, ease of use, more advanced use cases and broader adoption etc all of which will add more value in time just don't expect it to happen overnight

The introduction of the new token standard will hopefully expand on the usability somewhat
660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: shall i convert my bitcoins to ethereum? on: October 03, 2018, 04:35:25 AM
You could try using Ethereum to hedge against Bitcoin if you diversify a percentage of it into that to help protect against further dips in value in the short term although this is not guaranteed to work its just one scenario
