i seriously cant keep my miners on this pool. So i will not bother until the issue is fixed (permanently).

My miners will just fall back to the back up pools so, i hate it.

Odd, I had trouble last month too. I just decided to give them a shoot for a week and after about 45 minutes of only going to this pool it stayed connected and I added my backups. Maybe this will work for you if you really want to mine here. I would suggest it Smiley
642  Economy / Goods / [WTS] 6 HD 5870's *SOLD* on: November 12, 2011, 01:59:38 AM
I'm moving into an FPGA project and need the funds + I wont be mining with these as we develop.

I have 6 HD5870's I'm looking to part with, These are Dell 2XTG4's. Not the best OCer's but very very stable cards running 400MH/s and can go stable to 420MH/s but I don't run them there. About a half a month ago I went through my farm of 14 of these and applied new ArcticSilver and thermal tape to each, dusted and gave the heatsinks a well deserved alcohol spray and blow. These cards are in tip top shape and ready to mine a lot more.

Asking only $165 each & only $150 if you purchase more than one.

Only 1 left @ $150

I have 8 more 5870's. If you are interested PM me

+1 purchasers will also receive molex to PCIe adapters as well if you would like.

I do have references, and a few very good ones.

Preferred payment would be equal value in BTC or Dwolla, MtGox. I will, although I'd prefer not to, accept paypal as all items will be shipped UPS to destination with tracking of delivery.

Hi, another update on the load issues: the primary bitcoind went down, which caused the initial issues. We then took it out of the loop to restart it. Sadly, it needs to reload and reverify the blockchain. That takes a lot of time and calculations, which is why the load is still higher than normal. During this time your miner may idle for short periods of time. It's hard to say how long reloading the blockchain will take exactly, but it will at least be several hours. During that time payments will be unavailable, but mining can continue as usual.

When the blockchain has been reconstituted, the bitcoind will start accepting payment requests again. While stats are already operational again, some shares have not been added to your balance yet. We're now working on adding them manually.

Thanks for your patience while we resolve this!

Thanks for being on top of things and so responsive in the forum!

Bump to gauge any interest.

I have figured out a way to do this on my own website but need to start small.

If there is any interest in a particular category; vitamins, cleaners, sports nutrition, make-up..., please let me know, that is where I will start.

With enough interest, I can go live in a week with one category.

It sounds like a bad mobo to me, bad, or starting to finally go, NB if it just started after the new card installation.

I run several 5850systems with 4-7 of them on one Board without problems under win7 x64 (Home Premium and Proffessional)
Catalyst 11.4 - 11.10rc

I'd stay away from installing CCC by all means possible. When going beyond 4 gpus there is a problem that AMD is not attending to with CCC resulting in BSOD. Install drivers but stay away from CCC.

I will not be lending to pirate. We had some discussion in PM about future lending to him because I control 4.8Gh.

It's a personal crisis and really don't want to divulge the information, asking for btc for privacy purposes and would rather prefer to keep it that way.

Thanks Pirate

Just my successful trades and purchases here, there are more than listed in my sig but I don't have there approval to put them there. Also an ebay account if that counts for anything.
656  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 8 GPU limit linuxcoin on: November 09, 2011, 12:02:16 AM
Shit happens, I was wrong too.

I wouldn't trust the GD70 or GD80 boards to take that kind of abuse. The Big Bang and Supercomputer though may be able to handle it as they were built for closer to the abusive application that we miners use them for. You pay a hefty price for them though. I can speak in high regard for the Big Bang personally, mine runs 8 gpus with all slots populated and it doesn't seem to phase it.

Up to date bios version?

Are you doing a windows installation from the cd? How old is the cd? Any scratches? You may want to try a usb installation of windows
