641  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What does it need for a Online Pokerroom? on: May 06, 2017, 01:01:06 AM
I can tell you from experience that its a dog eat dog industry.

I was early in 2013/14 but I would not join nowadays.

You  could contact "SoftSwiss". They are the leading Crypto-Casino supplier. White Label solutions, Turnkey and also Betting-books.

If you want go to the poker area, microgamings.co.uk is also a good option to have contact with.

BUT AGAIN:

It is very expensive. The price for developers, royalties for games, gambling licenses in Malta/Isle of Man/Costa Rica.....

Look into it, but you will need at least 1 million $ for advertisement alone.
Its not enough to buy the software for 25-100k$

I would not plan with buying software - what does it cost to built a own software? What people would need this?

It all depends on what you want to do. My personal experience tells me, you NEED a normal Casino floor, slot games, sport betting and then poker rooms.

If you look around, other casinos got well over 600 games. No-one can play them all, but its industry standard. If you don't got that, you are not taken serious by customer  for some reason. Big is not always better but standard in the case.

If you really want to go from scratch plan a bit like this:

All in USD

40-60k for a running backend with wallets (i assume multiwaljlets is best)
10-20k for the frontend
min. 2k per game maybe more

And again, at least 1 million for advertisement.

Cost of Staff:

Then there are cost of staff. You will need a good casino manager. Experts are rare and really good experts that are in the industry since the 90' cost easily 100k/year plus Boni.

 Other Costs:

Rake of at least 20% is standard in the casino world.
Boni for deposits and Special Rewards for trusted players are on ave over 30%  (Deposit Bonis can go 300%)
Affiliate costs
Programer royalties of around 10-20% (even if you don't buy software and let it build from ground, programers take royalties for every $ earned with their game)

This is just an overview. I have spend a long time in this industry. You can now believe me or call me crazy. But this is what you need to calculate :/

And also please consider, that its not just crypto casinos you are competing with. The big boys of the fiat world are transitioning into crypto as well. And they are in the business for more than 20 years....  They can always pay more for marketing and service than a single or small group is able to.

Thx for that listing!

My concept would be a bit different to normal online casinos. I know you know how the standard works - but i think about something new so this is why i want a serios discussion about this.

Try to post in Facebook groups and build a followers to your Facebook profile as well.

Yeah groups are very good to publish.

Are there any tips how i can bring more likes form "out" of facebook? I mean sites or spots (not really exchanger) to promote?
I go very well so far, now it's the time for the next step.

What other companies would have a effect on BTC if they accept it?
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A coin based on BTC and gold = possible? on: May 05, 2017, 02:05:06 AM
I mean a coin backed by gold and Bitcoins - is this possible or are there any logic problems i do not see?
My question is, how are you going to keep the price of any crypto pegged to any set value?  Anything that gets traded on exchanges is going to take on a price of its own, as market forces dictate.  Who would decree that Coin_X should be valued at the price of gold, silver, the US dollar, or anything else.  And then there's the question of why this would even be necessary.  I don't think it is; I think it's a terrible idea that is unnecessary.  If you want gold, buy gold.  Or buy a gold ETF.  Or buy gold mining stocks.  Crypto should not come into this equation.

The idea is found a easy using money for all, backed with xamount of gold (paper) and xBTC - just name it Credit and the whole world using it.
It's clear that there will be comming a world wide currentcy - so why not backed on gold and BTC - that would give the BTC more a status like gold and not fast using capital. There would be physical and digital "gold" backed a worldwide using currentcy...

648  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What does it need for a Online Pokerroom? on: May 05, 2017, 12:26:08 AM
You definitely need strong developers team, carefully chosen Project Manager and Team Leader.
You should make full concept of your service.

I guess even using bitcoin you should find strong partners in gambling or betting area, who could help you with legal question.
As i know, there are several casino and poker blockchain  projects already.

Anyway, good luck!

My problems are just how to create it and how to legelize it.
What amount will be need to open something like this?
Bring players and the concept are known so far and would be my "different".

Heres one.

3 men are on a plane. They decide to find out what objects fall the fastest.
The first man threw an apple. The second man threw a TV. The third man threw a bomb.
They land the plane to go see how their objects fair. They found a boy crying. They asked why he was crying.
"An apple fell from the sky and hit me on the head!"
They continued walking and saw a woman crying. They asked why she was crying.
"A TV fell from the sky and hit me on the head!"
They continued walking and found a girl laughing so hard she could barely breathe. They asked her why she was laughing.
"My grandpa farted and my house blew up!"

Like that, but the woman and the boy should be dead i think.  Tongue

The apple, TV and Bomb falls on different locations as the plane moving Smiley the guys dropped them one by one and not on same spot Grin

Maybe they turn after each drop and fly over and over again the same spot.
Anywere - this joke has so much logical fails that its even funny again... Grin

This is really bad made. You want to make profit from people who lose their money for nothing.

This is promoting SCAM! - This should not be allowed in my mind...

Jetzt kommen 4 cl Soda Wasser (natriumarm) on Top. Fertig!

In shortterm poker is luck - in longterm poker is skill.
Simple rules, but it takes longer than a life to lern it.

Hi,

+ Was ist dein Lieblings-Cocktail/Drink?

Danke!

659  Local / Projektentwicklung / Re: Mit selbst hergestelltem Strom Bitcoin schürfen on: May 03, 2017, 02:04:54 PM
