646  Other / Meta / Re: [FOR ADMINS] An Open Letter to Bitcointalk.org Admins Regarding Ponzi Schemes on: February 08, 2015, 12:51:48 PM
bitcointalk should not allow any cloudmining or gambling advertisments. Just hardware manufactors/sellers. It's easy as that. Problem solved.

Wrong!
Hardware manufacturers and sellers scammed too. As an example...Have you never heard of BFL?

let's add BFL, some say BA and also Alpha Tech.
647  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Certified Bitcoin Professional on: February 08, 2015, 11:51:48 AM
BTW - I also obtained the FinCEN ruling concerning Bitcoin mining:

http://www.coindesk.com/fincen-bitcoin-miners-need-not-register-money-transmitters/
http://cointext.com/fincen-issues-bitcoin-friendly-ruling-for-miners/

I would think all these activities, along with passing the test, qualifies me for the lowest level certification.

Of course you're qualified for a certification. Everyone reading this forum for more than a year is probably qualified. I think it would be better for you to link up with a brick n mortar school to offer the certification online. That might add a little credence to it.

There is a company that is planning to do that - "link up with a brick n mortar school."

In fact they are lining up a few schools to offer the physical cert for their courses.

PM me as we could JV on this. Who has the email for Michael Perklin?

649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Storjcoin X (SJCX) - A Coin for Decentralized Cloud Storage on: February 07, 2015, 03:28:50 PM
How is the beta going? Are the people testing anything or is it just waiting? Any timeframe for the beta ending or public release?

No official word on the next round. I am on Test Group A.

We are currently testing the next DriveShare release with 100GB file transfers.
A bit more testing is needed to make sure it is stable and our infrastructure can support it.

This is what the interface will look like.

looks nice, can I test it out?

651  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: February 07, 2015, 02:02:31 PM

No contact, no miner, no refund.

you have to send an email to them on a daily basis.
that is how it works.
I got pissed off many times with BA but they said my X3 is hashing now.
hope it will continue hashing for at least another 24 more months.
652  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: February 07, 2015, 02:00:03 PM
Matt Carson is a fuckwit conman and I can see him ripping off Black Arrow. I also believe that Black Arrow are still counting all their money received from their customers. They must be busy trying to find more suckers for their "14mn" chips miners that they will be "selling" soon.

Saw a few typos in your post mate, thought I'd fix them for you Smiley

that's what I call creative fixing. well I hope BA's payout won't be a one time event.
 Sad
