Who said money will flow into altcoins after hardfork? You should slap that guys face, clearly he has no idea.
Altcoins are in bear market since August, don't you notice that? Even if they cover USD value they are losing against BTC because of the BTC rally.
It was the general consensus in almost every forum and article that the main driver in the recent bulltrend was to obtain free fork coins. |

for 4 months now I had hope that we would see a recovery soon. Today is the first day Ive lost that hope and am starting to wonder if this trend will last for a very long time.

Much of that is in bitcoin forks. Its expanded in the amount of coins but no growth in any of them. Make it 80 then, it's still a huge amount of money... a lot of these coins are growing steadily in price and acceptance; there are 90 coins +50 Millions... I'd not call that dead. Pretty far down vs bitcoin for 4 months. |

The 2x fork is over and not a drop of money has come in to altcoins, the market is dead.

The most important advice I can tell everyone is, forget all the new coins for now. There are way too many. The money will be going back to the original coins like ETH,XRP,XMR,NEM,LTC,ETC,...and a few others.

It's pretty obvious that if eth breaks up out if it's sideways trend it's going much much higher. Its traded sideways for 4 months, that's a long time for accumulation(while bitcoin went up almost 400%). Its not going to be just a little break, it will be a big one. The only questions is...when.

End of this year, a stable $350. End of next year 2019? There is the potential to double by then. Be patient if you believe in it then invest!
If thats the case than it's a major loss vs all the other coins that will be going up 300-600% easy. If eth only goes up to 350 by the end of the year that will be a huge loss vs btc. |

So tired of Ripple, everytime big price jump and right after big correction. wtf is this. Banks controlling the coin already?
Guys, get it right. Ripple was NEVER a true public blockchain. It's always been a public-private one, aimed at financial institutions, allowing them to leverage blockchain technology. Saying that Ripple doing business with banks is bad, is like saying Apple shouldn't sell mobile phones. It's the core of their business model. Holding Ripple is like holding shares in the company. If you hold XRP, you should be glad to see this development. Nobody said anything about dealing with banks is bad, were just concerned that such great news gave us nothing but a tiny pump and dump. |

Its not just ripple its the whole altcoin market. No sustained growth at all. Ive lost what could have been a small fortune if I just left it all in bitcoin. I can't look at the charts anymore ;( Everyone I know has been buying alts cheap recently but the prices aren't going up in usd I can't figure out the market any more.
