641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Hardware wallet really secure enough? on: February 16, 2020, 07:56:53 AM
I would prefer the Ledger hardware wallet over the Trezor. Hardware wallet won't be secure enough if you don't use it with cautions. Never ever take a picture of your house code, don't upload or share on online, write down on a paper and keep it in a secret place. Don't disclose the password and keep safe your hardware device. If you do these things perfectly then have a faith that hackers will fail to steal your money!

No one in their right mind would divuldge any of you mentioned I think. Most of the hardware wallets are really tight secured but I dont think Ledger has an advantage over Trezor for me they are both highly secured. Its just that Nano Ledger is most frequently used.

It offers better security over desktop and web wallets but as others said paper wallet is highly secured but its not durable so we have best security with hardware wallets.Even hardware wallets get physical damage in that case you can recover with recovery seeds so you have to keep them in a place where no one can access those keys if you want your cryptos assets to be safe...

No if you leaked your pass phrase is your account can also be compromised. As the wallet created on your hardware but that can still be access once your passphrase has been used. The only safety of hardware is it cant be attack through software.
642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: As a Bounty hunter, don't expect too much on: February 16, 2020, 06:30:26 AM
From Bounty Section campaign, Expecting too much from this section is kind of stupidity. Moreover, it takes a long time to get paid for this job.

This is depend on you. There are many campaigns posted here and thats good in my opinion. But the reality of scam and hoax project lies in that section. No one can actually say that projects there are all scam and doing bounty from that section isnt full stupidity. I did some campaign and earned from it. Yes the time is too long but thats how altcoin bounty works.

Now I can only wait until the next bull market starts to operate. Expect him to live that time. There are still many coins like this in my wallet.

You can wait for the bull run to come but dont wait for that project to pump. I think the project has been used up or already been cash by the developers. The team isnt active anymore and no update since then. Its seems like they just used the people for marketing to pump their token.
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Bitcoin and Altcoins bullish together on: February 16, 2020, 04:52:23 AM
Most of the time Bitcoin and Altcoin work inversely proportional i mean when bitcoin is moving upward in mean time altcoins start crashing.

This isnt always the case I think. Most of the time bitcoin pumps and some of the altcoins pumps too. Inversely proportional is something like one should be doing great and the other should be li low. No I dont think market works like that. It works on unexpected pattern that we dont imagined happening.

I think it only takes slower time for altcoins because when bitcoin goes up it's very possible that those who hold altcoins switch to bitcoin to get better profits and after that we will get altcoins to get good profits as well at the end.
Those holders of altcoin are simply buying bitcoin only if the time has surely comes. But if your a bounty hunter, what you need to do is dump those free tokens im return of bitcoin and major coins. Nothing good happening in holding new projects, they can pump but with only certain manipulation and hype not natural market demands.
644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facts about bounties on: February 16, 2020, 04:29:01 AM

Ignore whatever bounty hunters are saying, yes many projects aren't paying but still some are paying, experience of a bounty hunter is different from one another, some bounty hunters still find it hard to learn from their mistakes

Actually you dont need to ignore them just dont mind their complained. Most hunters, are just complaining regarding why some projects dont actually pay their participants and obviously most of them are just trying to fool them. Out of 10 bounty only 2 of them will be responsible to pay you and that's also a clear fact nowdays.

Right for now most projects do not pay and if paying the coin can not be sold for various reasons. From 2019 until now there has not been a new project that big pays for me, so I'm still looking for that luck from one of the bounty projects that really pays out with the big.

Reasons commonly affiliated with this is no fund raised or short and also no liquidity for the token due to no sector buys up their tokens. If you want to look for a good compensation bounty, just join btc paid campaign. More likely they can pay you not huge but at least a fair money for what you worked for.
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH could reach $440 if bullish on: February 16, 2020, 04:09:54 AM
ETH has broken major resistance which confirmed its bull trend to be continuous.

Major resistance or not I think eth just pull back again to its major low. Its pretty normal to see how up and down can be seen on this market considering the market is very volatile. See its current price now? It is not surprising to see actually.

I do agree with the $700 or even higher than that. I expect that its price will reach more than a thousand dollars by the end of this year.

Thats a huge and very optimistic approach towards this volatile market. I am not an anti eth but charts speak for itself and this drop happened is expected and not very surprising. Once it goes to 300 another wave of fall will be seen check out the chart patterm for the week. Anyway eth will reach 440 around a month from now.
646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I kept USDT on: February 15, 2020, 12:51:09 PM
This is simple strategy. Trading is much more efficient way to increase your asset. Actually, this is not hard for those who are experienced one but getting more btc usinga holding method isnt bad at all.

If you've already converted your BTC to usdt then you have nothing to worry about because its better to hold USDT than hold a coin that can lose value later,
This is only good if the converted value is enough for you. Right now btc price is doing great. If I were you I'm gonna hold off until it closer  to previous ATH.
647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Fake freewallet mails, Beware on: February 14, 2020, 01:50:07 PM
I have been receiving several login attempts to some of my exchange accounts but because I have 2FA installed, this has not been possible.
Good for you this is a must protocol in order to save yourself from scam bounties. Also those free airdrops like what OP mentioned is usually professionals when it comes to spamming one's email with am invitation to join certain giveaway or confirmation to receive rewards once you clicked it. You already been compromised.

Freewallet is a well know scam and it's their attempt to raise their userbase as active users are being aware of their deeds.
Ive been hearing some cases already about freewallet or maybe they are just using the platform's name and imitate those signature or their social to message you via email there are lots of scammers like this and to be honest the message seems legit but its a fake one. So extra careful when dealing with some free giveaway. Much better avoid joining and using your email frequently for this.
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Brave the best crypto friendly web browser? on: February 14, 2020, 12:11:32 PM
Frankly, I do not see much difference between the Brave browser and the rest in the format of cryptocurrency friendliness.
In my opinion, Mozilla, Yandex browser or chrome are quite suitable browsers for use within the crypto industry.
However, I like the Brave browser because it has a built-in TOP, a built-in crypto wallet, like the Opera browser, and it also makes it possible to earn cryptocurrency by viewing ads.

Like what you have said. Maybe there's no difference but Brave let us earn real crypto that we can sell as bat tokens has a lot of markets. But Im still curious how the ads working best for brave and giving a lot of bat tokens for veiwing is this somehow like faucet where from browsing they also generated income from its users.

It is advertisement free and compared to other browsers it is very fast and I have earned around $900 BAT tokens.

Ive used this browser but not yet opening up the instructions to earn free bat tokens. That's amazing on how you could earn $900 worth of bat tokens. Can I ask how long this would take to earn this amount? Also what activities is necesary to earn bat tokens. Im thinking more like referrals than just simply browsing ads or using this browser.
649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you looking at tokens that are not top 50? on: February 14, 2020, 11:13:28 AM

Personally, No, I would rather stick to the top 10 coins right now as the market is really very volatile and unpredictable so the risk factor is high, at least for me.

Wise choice but your leaving an opportunity to find out some hiddem gem too. If you just do some bit of research there are plenty of altcoin that have potential though you might not trust me so its fine. I think, you will know once a project has chance to be something big later on. For example, cartesi project. It has a unique approach towards blockchain using capabilties of linux. Well pretty new, but not different to some platform but their idea is much better. Anyway can blame anyone for not risking something here due to many people have been lose due to market crash of altcoins.
650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose the right bounty for Newbie? Get rid of fake/scam project on: February 14, 2020, 10:02:46 AM
There are lot of things to consider if your going to find a good project. Bounty isnt always incorporated in every good projects. Normally these great projects are just using an airdrop like asking for some task to make some promotions for them but that isnt important since they already set a marketing promotional like icodrops, or even cmc. That's more effective than using hunters for good and legit ones.

I myself is a hunter but most I consider is the legality than budget for the participants.
651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins so fragile compared to Bitcoin? on: February 14, 2020, 08:37:36 AM
Hi friends:
What is the reason for the large fluctuations of altcoins in your view? Why are altcoins so fragile compared to Bitcoin and fluctuating with the smallest news?

The best reason here is the popularity. Let's be honest most altcoin has potential but being oppressed by bitcoin due to its popularity. How many have known some altcoin such as pivx? Dash? Monero? If you would ask neighboring country they could say that they know bitcoin well than these mentioned altcoins.

Market Capitalization for sure.

As you can see, dominance of Bitcoin is more than 50% for now, so expected that Bitcoin is still much powerful than combined all altcoins out there.

I think its 6.20% only maybe you are referring to the combined dominance or percentage of market volume. The market cap of bitcoin is huge compared to combined marketcap of altcoin but that isnt the main reason IMO. Could be a factor but the fact that bitcoin is the first digital currency which is why most prefer it.
652  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Hits Fresh Yearly Highs, Profit Taking Push the Price Below $10000 on: February 13, 2020, 08:31:08 AM
Will go maybe more down to 9700 usd again and after follow a good grow, but even so the bull run and new huge price can happen after halving.

Check the current support I doubt this will happened for quite some time. It is indeed have back up on 10k level so I think this is our current mark point to begin with. Also I can still see a huge buy orders on major exchange so this is impossible to happened for few days. It's hard to drag it down for now.

Price is surging high now at $10,376. I think that we are about to see a confirmation of bull when we leave the 10,000 range to 11,000. Everything seem good at this moment as price have gradually got to this range since 4 months.

I think it could go higher than 10,600 bit later tonight. If you would noticed the pattern it is same with the last bull run when the price hits on this mark it is unstoppable and only minor corrections will be seen. I dont want to expect but hoepfully the trajectory will continue.
653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the 21M BTC supply promise realistic? on: February 13, 2020, 08:21:18 AM
21M supply is same with the current supply even though some of them are lost in the wild. Logically this is a broad discussion.

Nothing ever gets lost. People are even talking that quantum computers will hack bitcoin network and who cares about lost bitcoins, they should be easy to restore.

Its actually lost. How can you say it can be restored if that's easy to retrieved many already try out to recover those who sent on a wrong address. That will defied transparency if this can be work out.

I dont think those wronfully sent will affect its value rather it could boost is demand. Those are still part of circulation that laid waste but still it just dormant.
654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among us here has been addicted but successfully cured addiction? on: February 13, 2020, 07:12:19 AM
I read that there are people who are addicted in gambling but they are successfully cured from addiction, I'm interested to know what are the methods they do in order to get cured from such addiction, I use the word cured because gambling is a serious problem, I call it as a disease, so please share you experience so we can also help those who might have been experiencing an addiction right now.

I think the better solution there is a total discipline. Many gamblers problem is their lack of control and this usually tend to continue even though they dont have anymore funds for gambling and will resort to anyway just to have money and play again.

I felt that my day is incomplete without gambling, but now I don't feel the need or urge to gamble. I think the key is your drive to control your self. Any habit that is not healthy, even difficult must be stopped.

But controlling yourself isnt easy especially for those people who used to it on gambling. We can easily say that, but for others its really hard to say. Its almost same with smoking which is naturally hard to remove if its on our system and our body is looking for it. Same goes with gambling which our mind searching and our body has no choice but to follow.

Curing it will take time but preventing you from frequent gambling can, seek advise for a rehab or medicine to loosen up your mind.
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another wallet key lost. on: February 13, 2020, 07:00:33 AM

If its an android app its ok as long as you didn't uninstall the application you use or never reformat your phone it will not gone as long its continue running.

Are you reading carefully? His friend already uninstalled the app by mistake. I dont think if he reinstalled it back the same account or wallet address will be pop up on his application. Of course this will reset, and provide again another new wallet with new back up seed.

Forgetting to save the pass phrase is a sin on cryptocurrency if your using a wallet app.

Sorry OP but there is no other way for your friend to get his bitcoin and that's how cryptocurrency is such a transparent one. Newbie must learn especially this is a basic rule on creating wallets.
656  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTCs predictions beyond the limits or it might happen... on: February 13, 2020, 06:47:39 AM
I think no one wants to talk about a price prediction with regards to dipping that's why most professional speculated that bitcoin could reach more than what we are just assume to be its price.

Would you believe those speculators? Rather than seeing the market movement in your own eyes? I think that's more convincing than just a silly guess. Many people are just purely making a speculation for other's to get hyped with the current price. You know with yourself that this is just a shill to boost its price but its better to see than to believe those words.
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token been sent to 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000 on: February 13, 2020, 06:37:29 AM
The address this tokens are sent to is known for holding tokens that are meant to be burned. Therefore I presume it's a strategy deployed by Gold stablecoin to keep the supply low by constantly burning 0.001 Gold every day from all their token holders that's to constantly reduce the supply of Gold token.

This is the answer on your query OP.

So meaning these tokens payment of gold on your addresess are purposedly for burning their supply? However is this really possible? I mean could they set the smart contract to self deployed to a burning address? This is new to me. I didnt know they can still move coins from other's wallet even though the tokens stored already on a custodial wallet which the owner keeps its keys.

But if that's possible they shouldnt send a payment for bounty to their participants coming from a supposedly burn allocated tokens which will decrease the rewards of their participants.
658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google Searches of Bitcoin on: February 13, 2020, 05:03:01 AM
Which could trigger price movement up or it won't Cheesy.
You never know, if 33% is enough to make ripple effect or it needs 50-70%.
Yes it could trigger IMO, ripple effect doesn't really concern the possibility of such surge especially if the market is full of hype. Like the halving of btc which literally gain so much effect since the start of 2020.
And I think, they are in between now whether to buy before it pumps more or wait until it dips.

Still weighing if the time is actually good and can produce a good profits if they turn or decided to buy now. But only traders can specifically predict which track btc could dive. For now, I think better yet to trade minimal btc and keep holding cause halving is just 3months away. I dont know if the market can still pullback in spite of continuous pump.
659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Partnership Compulsory in new projects life? on: February 13, 2020, 04:39:18 AM
Its not that is wrong. Partnership has certain purpose and benefits too. Take for example a new project has a joint venture with a famous and popular project. Imagine the boost of this partnership to a new incorporated platform.
And partnership only works if both parties agree on the direction of the project. As the saying goes, "it takes two to tango".

Agreed. One example of this, is the new exchange platform WazirX, before they have no users but when partnership with Binance and acquisition of some of the project property by Binance make it bloom like other new exchange market. Especially on India, there are many users and traders who are fond of cryptocurrency.
660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BSV and BCH are all set for halving before BTC Halving... on: February 11, 2020, 06:28:53 AM
This is quite interesting now its time for alts to show it's potential, BSV and BCH are all set for Halving before a.month of BTC. These two alts we're impressive in their last Halving and I hope they might storm the market again.

Not a good choice for me. IMO, if your gonna go for btc that would be a better choice before halving cause its price is highly anticipated to increase.. Dont dwell investing on bitcoin forks, yes sometime there coin could pump but the two coins you mentioned are owned by a monopolist and ambitious person. Dont trust a semi centralized copy cat of bitcoin.

With regards to BSV halving, I'm sure that more actors are going to continue to pump it and milk the hell out of it.

Whales are inevitable and traders who using a conservative method should be warned against these coins. Yes pump is pump but dont risk anything you arent afford to lose. Imagine the price dump when CW, cant provide what he is claiming... Piece of advise just focus on btc.
