As we can see, now a days there are many people going to looking for source of income and they found out this bitcoin and they are starting to get interested. I think it is true, bitcoin can really reduce the number of unemployed in a particular community. Because for me bitcoin is a online job , were to can also joined some signiture campaign were you are task to post and meet the require number of post per week in order youbto have your salary. Ofcourse Bitcoin is secure. But the way you are going to store Bitcoin might not be. You must use a reputable ledgers or wallet to store it. Before you access your ledger it would need a private key to be accessed. You need to secure all your passwords and private keys in order to secure your bitcoin as well. Sometime it's the carelessness of the user that makes the storage of bitcoin unsecure.
I also think that bitcoin itself is safe but the place where save it is not. It needs strong security so that no other people can access on it. Keep half amount on bitcoin wallet and other half I convert it into fiat when the exchange price is high and save it on the bank or buy an assets on the real state. I'm a week into this whole bitcoin thing so be easy on me. I wonder why you would ever sell a BTC ... For example: you buy 100 dollars worth of BTC but the price drops drastically. Why would you sell it when its that low? You KNOW it's going to go up again. You could wait a month (for example), the price will be up again. Or am i totally wrong here?
You're not wrong about this, because bitcoin fluctuates so we think you're right. Sometimes people feel panic when bitcoin prices drop by up to a few percent, but still sell it even though they lose because they tend to fear bitcoin does not return to its original price. This is called panic selling. Right. Panic selling happens when the price of bitcoin dumps down and have fear that it will wont increase the price again. It happens because of the thought to lose the money. It is better to hold bitcoin and wait for the price to increase again. People loses their profit when having fear on the price dumps. |

Hello. I have a folio of BTC, ETH, NEO and some alts. I've been watching at Bitcoin since 2015 but bought only at this summer (and the last move was quite bad, I bought some BTC for $4600). I try to study, watch vids, read forum and twitters. Chris Dunn has a vid on the topic but nothing really specific. I'm interested in some ideas about what to do when prices are falling. Sell alts and hold bitcoin? Short? (and if yes, so the next question is how to learn how to short?).
When the price us falling, it is time use by traders to buy coin. When the price is falling it is not panic time. It is normal, it will really happen because bitcoin or any other digital currency out there has no fix price. Good thing when its price increase but quite bad when it goes down especially when someone needs money. But it is the nature of this currencies go up, go down, it is not possible to just goes up. Just accept it. When the price is falling there is nothing else to do but to wait for it to increase again. But the thing is we do not know how long will it takes to increase. I agree. When prices is falling do not panic cause it result of big loss. It is better to hold what you have and wait the time that the price increase again. When the time falls, it is the good time to buy coins. |

Trading (be it forex or crypto) is not a lazy man's adventure. It requires discipline and research. OP, you have to carry out diligent research on your own if you want to make a headway in trading. It is not enough to seek handouts by merely asking around here. And about combining trading with you regular job,b this isn't going to be an easy task. This is because trading requires concentration and focus which a job by the side may derail. i think its the best decision if you have the ability to do both. but remember that most of trading you should need enough time to get profit. so if you have enough time and good experienced in the trade which you want then it is the best choice to do both works which make you rich in very less time. This is true but handling both things would really require good time management knowing that each one of them would really need time for you to earn money but there are some people who did already leave their jobs and they focus more on trading because they can compare the outcome and potential income that they can make out of trading which is really possible.Just like mine i do earn more than on the salary of my day stable job but yet i didnt decide to quit it though. I agree. Keeping both job and trading need time management to focus and not to leave the other one. Even the salary can get has large difference on each other, in trading we cannot predict when the time come to get good profit sometimes we choose to hold. Stable job can give monthly allowance that can support daily needs while waiting when to have big amount from trading. |
