our default position is that KYC is unnecessary if your transaction has not been flagged. Your site asks for the the card holder's name and address. Unless you use a stolen card, that's pretty much the same as KYC. Luty.io is in BETA The exchange rate doesn't update (on Tor Browser) when I go back, change it, and click Continue: ![Image loading...](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Floyce.club%2Fother%2Fluty.png&t=664&c=eWJEqS5kRlYM_w)

someone senior (maybe a mod) maintains a thread (in Reputation?) that's meant to collect and quote truth "declarations" This is like opening Pandora's box of drama! Dramatalk.org is still available. If it later turns out that this person was full of shit, then tagging can ensue. What if I declare I'm full of shit? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) lying in that specific thread is a bannable offense Bitcointalk is going to be very quiet this way. I've seen so many cases of being "lost in translation", and different interpretations can give a totally different meaning to a certain statement. Even government officials (AKA politicians) don't get fired for lying. In many cases in real life, lying is socially accepted and even expected. Most people don't want honesty because it hurts their feelings. "I, PowerGlove do hereby state the following: As of Oct 15 2022, I've never open-mouth kissed a horse." That's very specific. How about close-mouth?

Since we are talking about the correct use of the trust system, whoever thinks that I have made an incorrect use can distrust me Correct. or if they think that somehow I have done a trust abuse or something can leave a negative feedback on my profile. I disagree. I answer Trust abuse with neutral feedback, and by excluding the user from my Trust list. Suppose that for some reason such as with one I write controversial posts on the P&S board and with the other I don't, I don't want to reveal that they are two alts of mine. And let's also suppose that one is in the Best Change signature campaign and the other in a campaign with high posting requirements in the gambling section. So they interact in different parts of the forum with different people and as a result end up having a trust list with some common members but different ones (both for trust and distrust). Would that be considered sockpuppet voting? As long as you don't vote for the same users, I don't consider it sockpuppeting as far as DT1-voting is concerned. An easier solution may be to just use DefaultTrust on your alt account.

I suggest to move lengthy discussion about specific cases to a dedicated topic on the Reputation board.

is it possible to scrape an overview, which accounts have been on DT most often? Just get DT1-strength.txt, replace ",," by ",", then count who has the most commas after their name (this includes users with negative DT1 strength, so it only counts the DT1 election winners): Yahoo62278's campaign requires a minimum of 25 posts per week. The 1 Merit requirement is very low, if you can't earn 0.04 Merit per post, you should indeed not be paid for it. I myself am not used to getting 1 minute in a week I'm used to getting 10,080 minutes in a week ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Proofreading helps. Properly using the quote-feature also helps. Hero/Legendary 004 /wk Costly mistake ![](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/afro.gif)

It turns out that today when I go to check my trust list, I see that AnotherAlt had removed me from his trust list, when I didn't realize that he had included me. He wiped his entire Trust list, I assume because I called him out on DT1 sockpuppet voting. I think theymos is not in favor of it, but I think the alts should be controlled in some way. There's no point in making a rule that can't be enforced. If sockpuppet voting gets noticed, they can get blacklisted from DT1-voting. That at the very least is going to get him a neutral tag of negative spirit from me. And I think it's more likely to be a negative tag Since you posted in this topic, I can ask: how does knowing about ban evasion fit the requirements for negative feedback? Negative (shown as -1) - If you believe someone is a scammer, or someone is likely to scam, that deserves negative feedback. Please provide evidence.
|
|
|
Yes Royse777 not only helped to keep secret that AnotherAlt was Naim027 When I read that post, I assumed he meant his real name, not his other forum accounts: @Royse777, I want to be anonymous in this forum. After this post, Only you, bitlucy owner, and another guy from this forum will know who am I. Please don't reveal me. a known cheater and plagiarist while evading the ban, but also included him in his Casino Critique project. The one in the project was/is naim027, it was already publicly known he was banned for plagiarism. Only the ban evasion wasn't known to us at that time. I don't care if those of you who are his friends fill me with retaliatory negative feedbacks. Ifi that happens, you should care and fight to have them removed. Retaliation tags are never acceptable. To be fair: I don't think I've seen retaliation from Royse777 ("or friends") because of negative feedback on Royse777.

I believe my next project will to run my own node in an online server. I don't have it now. I will take a look on the costs and what else could I do with it. I happen to have one running, it's a donated Xeon that's meant for cool projects like this. I don't mind feeding you data dumps in some format.
