6441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Camouflage bounty manager? on: November 03, 2019, 05:11:49 PM
is it possible that the prize manager and the entire project crew including the developer, they work together and deliberately promote fraudulent projects?

I see how easy they are to erase red trust and promote fraudulent projects repeatedly?
Is this what is called a camouflage manager?

We have two kinds of bounty manager here, the independent one, who will protect his reputation in this forum, and the second manager, which is part of the project, I doubt the first bounty manager will connive because he has a reputation and business to protect, not unless he is bought and throw away his reputation here.
The second manager will likely connive because he is part of the project and he'll do anything that the main developers ask him to do.
6442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ALTS would you bu if crypto boom started yesterday? on: November 03, 2019, 04:12:46 PM
And why?

We cannot compare the Cryptoboom that happened in 2017 to what's going to happen in the future, in 2017, it was diluted with so many pumps and dump coins in the market, even dead coins gets pumped for no reason at all, we should only trust altcoins with proven support and projects involved with it, so I'm going for Eth, litecoin, Eos and Binance, these coins has proven their worth even in the bear market.
6443  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ALERT!! Adab Solutions - So Called Islamic Crypto Exchange is Haraam on: November 03, 2019, 02:36:36 PM
Finally, ICOBENCH is now doing their job as a review site they now tagged Adab as a suspicious ICO you can check it here

https://icobench.com/ico/adab-solutions, the reason could be the many excuses they are giving to their investors, it's been 6 months until now there are ow exchange or platform

6444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO investors are more excited on exchanges than product developments? on: November 03, 2019, 02:08:47 PM
This is the reality nowadays, but I don't know if you agree or not.

As what I have observed since last year, lots of ICO investors are more excited and making some noise when a crypto startup announced that they will be listed in some exchanges.

I have browsed a lot of Telegram groups coming from various ICOs, IEOs and other forms of token sales. When they announce their partnership with a "XXX" company or they have launched their v2.0 of their product, it seems that the community are kind of less impressed and not excited about that.

Last year, there's an ICO where until now, they haven't listed in an exchange as they focused more on product development. It's like almost 2 years and they haven't listed their token yet in exchanges but they only give us a quarterly report on what they're doing with the product. It results for most investors to become impatient and demand their money back or getting listed to exchanges at least.

This is what I've been observing for now, the behavior of most investors who are expecting their returns or gains after the ICO is complete. What do you say guys? Agree with this or not?

You can't blame them it's on the roadmap that they are going to get it in exchanges, some even promised top exchanges, no investors will invest in a project where their money is sleeping for months, they want to see the potential of the coin in the market, they want to know if they are right in investing and they want to know if the dev is honest and true to their words that they will see the coin in the market as soon as possible, products and exchanges are two elements that investors wants to see.
6445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your Dice gambling strategy? on: November 03, 2019, 01:24:52 PM
Guys i have almost a year playing a Dice gambling site.
I have different account in every gambling site just to try my luck.
I set it into 60% chances of winning per betting the dice and the target multiplier is 2.
but now focus to gamble at bustadice, and what's your's?

Sharing your strategy is highly appreciated!

It's really hard to set up one strategy that really works that can lead you to continuous winning, you can do a variation but that doesn't a guarantee a win in a long run, I do a variation of martingale setting it to 70% and just crossed my finger that I will on luck that night, martingale is all-time favorite of many dice players, you need to be extremely lucky to come out the winner.
I wished that I have long hours of enjoyment for my allocated funds so I can feel that it's worth it and that I did enjoy the excitement.
6446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass adoption growing or decreasing? on: November 02, 2019, 06:10:14 PM
Following 10 years of presence, the subject of whether the mass reception of digital currency has been begun is still bantered in the space. I would like to ask specialists in the crypto and blockchain businesses is there or have there be any huge crypto mass adoption compare to 10years ago?

Do we have mass adoption? Definitely we have massive adoption just look at the number of new wallets, new forums, new websites trend on the internet about Cryptocurrency not only double or triple we multiply by hundreds fold and I'm not a specialist but just a member of the community and observant, I don't know what's going to happen in the next ten years but all I know we are multiplying every day every month and every year.
6447  Other / Off-topic / Re: Daily lifestyle in bitcoin. on: November 02, 2019, 05:40:52 PM
I want to share this read until end, my daily lifestyle in bitcoin is in first time it was so bored, i dont know if earnings of money is true but lately i've earn money here in bitcoin then i was fully focus here in bitcoin to get more earnings and i want to make my dream come true by the powered of bitcoin.

So you are only here for profit, but besides making a profit from holding and investing in Bitcoin and other altcoins, you should do your share by using Bitcoin to buy stuff online even if it is a small amount, we must promote Bitcoin as payment and encourage and ask merchants to accept Bitcoin again, so many things are happening it's time for merchants to accept Bitcoin again.
6448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BAT the DOGE killer? on: November 02, 2019, 04:11:31 PM

Basic attention token also allows to tip content creators. But it offers much more than Dogecoin (e.g. a new advertising system).

What do you guys think? Can DOGE and BAT coexist (e.g. due to different user groups) or will BAT make DOGE obsolete?

If this is the only reason why Bat is the Doge killer, I don't think so, they are don't have the same market, BAT is more on advertising while Doge is very much stable in faucets and other tipping projects, Doge is a project that will not die, the support is still there, they have a very solid community, they can co -exist, and I don't think BAT is going to compete with Doge only, there are a lot of coins that can also be used as a tipping coin.
6449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get EOS Wallet for Free? on: November 02, 2019, 02:58:32 PM
Hi All,
I'm noob of this EOS stuff. Can someone here share information about how to get EOS Wallet for free? I've tried Lumi Wallet yet its already exceed limit ( i dont even know the limit was).

I'm sure this EOS Stuff is something going on in the near future. So, please help me for this issue.

Thanks a lot.

I'm using scatter I highly recommend that you use this wallet for Eos https://get-scatter.com/ it's a desktop wallet and I have activated it through the generosity of the Bethhash community, you need to deposit a small amount and create a name for your application which is a wallet, all EOS wallets is activated this way I think you only need $3 or less to activate your wallet
6450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting scammed on: November 02, 2019, 02:03:38 PM
I got scammed by this project called temtum. Signed up for their bounty months ago, posting for their campaign, filling up 2 kyc forms and pushing for its deadline, and now they are telling me i didnt pass it. It is not only me who encountered this. Hello Richard Dennis.

You used I, so it means you are the only who got scammed  from their bounty campaign and not all bounty participants if the bounty campaign is indeed a scammed then all those who participated should complain, but since you posted I, it could mean that you violated one of their rules and you are not qualified to get a rewards or stakes, you should ask the bounty manager what is your violations, I also read here that you are not part of the spreadsheets, there could be a violation and you need to confirm to the bounty manager your violations.
6451  Economy / Economics / Re: How many bitcoiners on here have actually used bitcoin/crypto for commerce? on: November 02, 2019, 01:19:20 PM
Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general will only advance if people actually use it for more than speculation.

In the past we've seen lots of retailers enabling bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in their checkouts, and then been disappointed that hardly anyone has used the function. And we have had some orgs like Steam disabling bitcoin and giving up on it.

So how many people on here have actually used cryptocurrency in real life?

I'll start: I haven't used bitcoin (because I consider that savings), but I have used dogecoin to buy gift cards and bitcoincash (BCH) to deposit to a betting website via BitPay.

Anyone else want to share their experiences?

I just bought 2 domains and renew my domain on Namecheap, also continuously paying monthly my web host with Bitcoin, so I'm one the people who use Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrency on what they are intended for, I also used it to load my cell phone and to pay my internet bills, but what I'm really wishing and hoping is that there's a local grocery here that will accept Cryptocurrency.
6452  Economy / Economics / Re: US Congressman: Facebook Should Adopt Bitcoin, Drop Libra Project on: November 02, 2019, 11:45:31 AM
I don't think it's Bitcoin that they should be adopting at all. It's slow and Facebook will want some sort of control over it, with Bitcoin, they can't.

We've seen one of the Facebook blockchain devs (David Wong) singing Algorand's praises in recent weeks (not to mention interest amongst top banks too), maybe exploring their tech could be the way forward...

Who knows where this is going, I don't really think we need Libra to be honest. There's plenty of other platforms that make more sense and have already established a footing in the DeFi space (Algorand mentioned above, Ethereum/MakerDAO obviously).
Republican Representative Warren Davidson should say this to all developers that want to create their own token or coin, blockchain is open-sourced these lawmakers should understand that every company and a big company like Facebook can adopt it and use it to create their own, let them create their own coin and just regulate on how they are going to use it, they are now making a lot of noise now, but quiet for a long time when a lot of developers in the past are scamming investors.
6453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo vs Kovalev WBO Light Heavyweight Championship on: November 02, 2019, 10:06:18 AM
Kovalev has an hour to pass the weight and he did pass the weight here is the video of that second weight in
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ObS-axt0els I wonder why he is having a hard time to pass the weight when he is fighting as a heavyweight for quite some time, this will have an impact on his performance it depends now on his conditioning manager, on how to get back the lost fluids and the performance before the fight.
6454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What's up Guys on: November 01, 2019, 04:35:27 PM
Hello everyone,

I just want to ask you, is bounty still good for now? are you still participate in bounty? or you have something new beside bounty or airdrop?

thank you for everyone who aswer it.
Good day.

I'm not into ICO anymore for several months but I have been reading a lot of how bad ICO bounty now check the scam section and you'll see what I mean, you should consider learning how this bounty works and how to spot the right project to promote, we all want a good project to promote but even if the project is that good, it cannot succeed, to get funded maybe because there are few investors investing in ICO now because of their past experience, but at the end of the day, it's your decision to participate or not but do take heed.
6455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China Creates Currency to Cancel-out Cryptocurrency on: November 01, 2019, 02:59:48 PM
China Creates Currency to Cancel-out Cryptocurrency
The Chinese government is on a mission to keep people dependent on government-controlled currency.
China’s government has now devised a cockamamie scheme where they will use their central bank and commercial banks to distribute a newly created digital fiat currency
in an attempt to trick citizens into believing that they have cryptocurrency all in hopes that the people will use the digital fiat instead of real cryptocurrency and stay government currency dependent.
The fiat digital currency will be totally centralized and the plan is to replace the current currency, the yuan,
with the new digital currency which right now is being referred to as Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). The digital currency will be issued to commercial banks via the central bank, and the commercial banks will, in turn, be able to distribute it to the people.

We are moving to a different scenario now, something we have never seen in the last nine years but bound to happen, there are predictions in the past that Facebook and some big countries will adopt Cryptocurrency, and now it's happening, in the next two years things will be different and the landscape will become different, we will actually see country using blockchain and crypto as a replacement or co -exist it with their own currency.
6456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Deontay Wilder Vs. Luis Ortiz II on: November 01, 2019, 02:31:35 PM
Many boxing fans here has probably forgotten about Luiz Ortiz because another name came up which is Ruiz.

It's because boxing fans are waiting for the Joshua vs Ruiz II.
~
And Fury vs. Wilder II

but if Ortiz beats Wider, that will be another shake up and the rematch between the two might not happen.

Just imagine there's an upset here, and the other Ruiz, Andy Ruiz also wins his rematch, now we have two Ruiz champions and there will be a major shake up this year in the heavyweight, all those considered to be box office champions are not there anymore, I will not rule out upset in this fight because kingkong Ruiz can punch and knock everybody, he just lacks the head movement, something his trainers should on.
6457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What scares you the most? on: November 01, 2019, 11:28:33 AM
This fun picture got me thinking. https://imgur.com/2GwIL5Y

What are your biggest fear in crypto?
As for me, it's losing my private keys by accident. I know that the risk is minimal, but the thought of it makes me anxious from time to time. Also, I'm afraid that BTC dumps during the transaction.

Waking up one morning and knowing that the whole cryptocurrency market went down to nothing?
Or maybe finding out that all your crypto (or your private keys) was stolen or lost somehow?

By the way, Happy Halloween!

Waking up that the whole market went down to nothing is likely not going to happen at this point in time, but on losing your private keys that could possibly happen if you are not taking care of it, three things will scare me the most getting my email hacked and my account here in Bitcointalk hacked and of of course all my wallet private keys have gone, any one of this will cause anxiety to me.
6458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promoting ICO scams on: November 01, 2019, 11:02:14 AM
If these sites just go for some verification before promoting these scams, it would be very good for the visitors. Verification can include Mobile verification, Identity verification etc. These sites are an open image of crypto, if these sites just reduce their earned money by a bit and plan for long term then it would be beneficial for all of us.

I'm not defending Coinmarketcap, but they are a stable site with stable income from their advertising if they know that a project is a scam they are not going to accept, they are an advertising company and not a review and rating site to tell us what are scams and what is not, the burden is on the investors, not all that glitters are gold, investors must do extensive research and not rely on advertising company.
6459  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Hacked Blockchain.com Wallet - You should NEVER use online wallets ! on: November 01, 2019, 10:10:03 AM

Conclusion:

I am not 100% sure who is to blame for this issue,
but I know that we should NEVER use any online wallet,
no matter how safe they claim it is.

Unfortunately, you are late to find this out and it comes from your bad experience, When I was just starting out I've read a lot of users losing their Bitcoin because it was stored in an online wallet, that is why online wallet and a phone wallet is the least of my priority among all wallets,
Ledger wallet is always the best choice but if you still cannot afford a desktop wallet and a strong password is the best option, so far all my coins are safe because I never use an online wallet, people who are new here should always secure their by picking the best option.
6460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Deontay Wilder Vs. Luis Ortiz II on: November 01, 2019, 08:42:04 AM
I wonder why nobody here is discussing about the upcoming rematch fight between The Bronze Bomber and the The Real King Kong. Is this rematch battle too long overdue that there is no more hype left? Well, the day is coming near and the battle is definitely going to end with one of them lying on the canvas.

Nitrogen Sports odds:

Sportbet odds:

There's really going to be a knockout here, both fighters can deliver a knockout, Kingkong Ruiz, as he is called, almost got Deontay he just runs out of time, but I still believe, that Deontay will come out the winner here by a knockout, he has the reach advantage, good lateral movement, of course, knock out punch, but I will not rule out an upset here, because Ruiz also has a devastating punch, his awkwardness will give Deontay a hard time.
