If I'm honest, horizontal arrows required less thinking, no CSS and less testing, so that's why I reached for them; not because I believe they make much more sense, or anything. I was thinking of a very simple △▽, but now that I see it, it looks more like a diagonal arrow in both directions than 2 individual up and down arrows. I trust your judgment Bad idea, it didn't work.

It was to have a "Top Button" on every page, so that the person who has just read a topic, can go back to the top quickly without having to use the scroll. It's on your keyboard: CTRL-HOME (CTRL-END works too).

Go to the section of altcoins or the Marketplace (goods, gambling, etc) No thanks ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I stay away from the spam-boards. discourage some reporters as they realize they're wasting their time. Yep. I've accepted that not all places on the internet are nice. As long as they stay on certain boards, I don't have to see their posts.

In general, judging by the latest entries, such activities as reporting have declined very sharply and are not popular among users. There's less to report In 2018, I counted 353,813 posts per week. Now, we're at 41,217 posts per week. That's a 88.35% reduction. The Merit system stopped the spam caused by large-scale account farming.

in anticipation of them saying: "Thanks, but I wanted UP and DOWN arrows." This is exactly what I was going to say. Now it looks like it's going to the next page instead of the next post. What I mean to say is of course: good work! I like those small improvements better than a big change with mythical new forum software. Personally, I don't see it as very much useful according to my forum browsing habit but maybe for others, it can be very useful. I often use "CTRL-F username", and this would be easier. To search for a user's posts, I use "show All" to search more pages at once, but that's not possible for very large topics. But I don't really see how this would be helpful, when author post history can already be accessed in chronological order. The user's post history includes other topics he posted in (try to find my last 4 posts in the WO-thread).

Irony, double meaning and sarcasm doesn't seem to be your things, as far as I can see. But partly that helps me to confirm the idea I had: that you don't consider the last 5 posts I wrote before this one, the 5 written yesterday as burst posting, probably because you don't consider them of low quality. My assumption is indeed that the classification as "burst posting" should be related to low quality posts. It doesn't make sense to complain when someone makes many good posts in a row. Once in a while I forget to post a post, and find that tab back right after posting another post. That means I have posts just seconds apart, and there's nothing wrong with that. However, from a campaign manager's (advertising) perspective, I get that they want their exposure to be spread evenly throughout the week. That's fine too, if they make a rule that posts have to be at least 30 minutes apart, they're free not to count/pay for those posts. But they shouldn't expect me to change what I'm doing. It's simply that I recently had a disagreement with someone I respect about what is burst posting and that person considers that I sometimes border on what would be burst posting because I write at wider intervals than that. Would your post be any better if you keep the tabs open, set a timer, and post the same posts 30 minutes apart? If the community does not consider my yesterday's posts as burst posting, it helps me to reaffirm myself in my idea. Why does it matter what the community thinks in this case? If it's not spam, it's okay for the forum. If a campaign manager disagrees, that's fine too. No amount of community pressure is going to change the ROI of an advertising campaign. TL;DR Burst posting is fine, shitposting is not. Irony, double meaning and sarcasm doesn't seem to be your things So you're saying my sarcastic reply wasn't sarcastic enough? I mean, look at this guy, burst posting 3 posts in just 13 minutes! Obviously, he's just shilling for the coin he made up ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)
Hey, burstposting is not allowed in the campaign but your quality is decent so i'll not make a big deal of it. Please be a little more cognizant of the timing of your posts in the future. As you can see, I appreciate his quality and was not rude with the user. I also am trying out a couple new rules in the campaign and I think it's only fair to treat everyone the same unless we have spoken and come to a mutual agreement. That seems fair enough ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Burstposting will not be tolerated May I suggest a slight change? If you make it " Burstposting will not be paid", the campaign gets what it wants, and the user can post as it's convenient for him. It doesn't seem right to set a timer between posts, before making the exact same post as you would have made 10 minutes earlier. I was not expecting the pm I got next. Basically he said he would continue as is and if it's an issue I'll just have to kick him. In my opinion, that makes perfect sense. I would probably have told you the same ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I don't feel like he was trying to be a dick For the record, I wasn't trying to be a dick either ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) It just doesn't feel right to adjust your posting for a signature campaign. Now let's talk about why burstposting is a big deal. Let's say I open a sig campaign with 1 member in it. A burstposter is whom I selected and they make all their posts in 1 day. What happens to that users posts? Basically, after about 2 hours their 20-25 posts they made for the campaign will be buried on page 2,3,4 or whatever page. The advertisement in their signature space will be non existent and the company that paid me to hire that user will have wasted their money. Shouldn't this be something you check before accepting a participant? Ideally, the user would be able to keep doing what they were doing already, and that gives the right exposure.

What I would like to hear is how the fuck @AnotherAlt found Dic3L0v3r's (naim027) address because it was buried somewhere in the middle of bounty thread and it has been used only once. That's easy.

What do you think, folks? I think it's not important enough: I'm not going to lose sleep over people going to ridiculous lengths to buy merit, since only a small number of people will be willing and able to do that.
As long as merit sales are a black market, I'm happy, since that makes it far more difficult and expensive to buy merit. If that's the case, then the small volume of black-market merit trades don't themselves bother me much, and I think that it does more harm than good to get too witch-hunty about it.

both naim027 and Crypt0S0ul were active in Pakistan topic I've found posts from naim027 and Dic3L0v3r in the Pakistan and Bangladesh topics, but not from Crypt0S0ul. I don't keep track of those local topics, but now that you mentioned Bangladesh, it reminds me of mdayonliner, who also had alt accounts and caused a lot of drama. if you observe this address then you will find connection between Dic3L0v3r (naim027) and AnotherAlt (Crypt0S0ul). This proves AnotherAlt posted an address that Dic3L0v3r had posted before. It doesn't proof Dic3L0v3r is owned by AnotherAlt. Just like here: Crypt0S0ul could have seen naim027's 2018 post and used that name for his email Let me put it this way: AnotherAlt and Crypt0S0ul could have posted my address. There's nothing I can do to stop them, and it doesn't mean we're the same person. If I post 1NXYoJ5xU91Jp83XfVMHwwTUyZFK64BoAD, that doesn't make me theymos.I'm curious to hear what @AnotherAlt and @Crypt0S0ul have to say about this.

how is it possible for 74 (persons) addresses to send bitcoin It's one person with 74 addresses in 1 wallet.

Trying rank up his alt with garbage in the WO thread while patiently awaiting the unban on his main. I mean who would have thought... Username: Silentsoul027 ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FVdamIt7.png&t=664&c=uCSwJNupHP1mWA) Kuddos for finding this! I'm very interested in OP's response to this. I don't think it's enough evidence for ban evasion though: theoretically, Crypt0S0ul could have seen naim027's 2018 post and used that name for his email, but I don't think that's a very likely scenario. They're both advertising BitcoinCleanUp.com in their signature now ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

This is your second topic today with advice on how not to get banned. Why? It's great to have shitposters banned, the decent posters usually figure out the rules on their own.
|
|

A better question is why just single me out for your gang mentality criticism? I can answer this ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) You actually got it wrong: I "singled you out" because you're the only user from the list who I expect to care a bit about leaving accurate feedback. I didn't expect you to attack me over this, and considering the fact that you changed your negative feedback to neutral, you seem to agree this is the right thing to do. The other two users (roslinpl and Excimer) are tagged in deep red already. Besides, roslinpl claims "This man is a liar", which does sound like a valid reason not to trust the user. The other one (Excimer) just left troll-feedback, which any reader will instantly dismiss. (much less turning a blind eye to the negative(s) on my own trust feedback page) This topic isn't about you, but if you want I can share my stance in a Reputation topic.

Naim027, I've supported your ban appeal from the start and still do, but I don't think you should have posted that here. I'd love to hear what the mods have to say, because this is the first time I've seen someone do this in a ban appeal thread. I've seen requests from banned users to (for instance) post in their lending thread to notify business partners. I'd say it's one of those cases of "not great, not terrible". I unbanned it. Case closed. One more thing: @Timelord2067: what's with the negative feedback? This doesn't match the description: Negative - You think that trading with this person is high-risk.

it's really hard not to let bad english affect your judgment sometimes. I don't mind bad English if someone has a technical problem and asks for help. But if it's a more general discussion, it quickly becomes annoying. Especially on Bitcoin Discussion, when I read a topic I now have several users per page on ignore, and when I see them, it reminds me the board isn't worth my time. Every now and then, I see a certain type of broken english with random capital letters, erratic spacing and inconsistent misspellings, and that just smacks of laziness That's easy: Ignore! it's very difficult for me not to think: "What a fecking idiot." ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) Why even stop yourself from thinking that? There are idiots on the internet. Hurting their feelings is okay.

Whatever job you do, would you justify your employer holding your money for 1 year because they "suspect" some match fixing? There's no employer relation here. You're a gambler, not an employee. If they have any reasons to believe the game was rigged they should post the proof and if not then allow me to withdraw. As Stunna explained: We have a legal obligation not to pay out individuals involved in match fixing. It's easy to come and look like a saint when others are struggling to get money from a giant casino scamming them I don't believe Stake is scamming you. but when it will happen with you, maybe you realize how it feels for others to come and say "yeah it's fine, investigations can take decades and casino will pass the funds to your grandchildren, why are you troubling them" It's one of the many reasons I don't gamble, and if I would gamble, it wouldn't be on real world events that can be manipulated. Would you be fine with Chipmixer not paying you for 1 year claiming they are doing some investigation with no details and no timeframe at all? ChipMixer is in the privacy business. They don't do those things.
|
|
|
Isn't 6 months enough for an investigation to commence? Apparently not. But that's not surprising: match fixing is a crime, which means there's a criminal investigation, which means the government is involved. Or multiple governments. I can imagine this isn't a high priority to them, and from what I've seen in the news about (different) crimes, it can easily take a few years to bring the bad guys to justice.
