Only during the first week of the action of idiotic decree Trump the United States cancelled about 100,000 visas. The decree is appealed in court, and its action is suspended during the pendency, but tell me Trump is not an idiot?

Sure.  He's not an idiot.

Look at what you said.  It does nothing to support your beliefs.
I wonder if it were possible to re-vote, Americans would vote again for Trump? I am shocked by American choice. Well I'm not American. I am ashamed of America. I believed that America is a perfect country, but I was wrong. Now I know how many Americans are idiots.
a perfect country?

It's early days yet to say something. He's done nothing noticeable yet
As nothing significant? A controversial law about immigration? A ban on issuing visas? And the fact that he ruined America's relationship with the world? And this is only the beginning. What to expect from him yet? A third world war?

Well, here's what he himself has to say about all that.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DCVwv56ob0k
I don't believe him! Also, I do not share his opinions. It is not convincing. I am sure that the anti-immigration he did not succeed. Attempt to drive business in America in General can cause a person to stop existing businesses.
fair enough

There were many, many things Obama said I knew to be lies or half truths
6463  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Tens Of Thousands Of Brits Take To The Streets To Protest Trump’s Travel Ban on: February 04, 2017, 11:50:21 PM
And what effect will the protest in UK have to do with what is happening in the USA. Have they even finish protecting their own, before going to meddle in the affairs of USA. If they are not ok with it, maybe they should start giving free pass to people from those countries then I will know they are serious. In as much that I dont fully support Trump's decision of this total ban and the noise it has generated, he should have taken it slow and give room for exception at least he give it commencing date for that.
Trump did not understand what makes. America is a democratic country and he will not be able to act as he had imagined it. The U.S. Department of justice has already filed a lawsuit against this idiot for his decrees.

Interesting, since the US Dept of Justice never filed any lawsuits against Obama for his idiotic decrees.  Little problem there?

Oh yeah, I remember.  That's one of the reasons Trump got elected.

If humanity continues its life on other planets, it must do so with the resources of the planet it will go to. It does not make much sense to live on other planets by adhering to the resources of the world.

3D printers can be a solution in the future. We know which elements the elements we need come to fruition. We can find suitable elements and produce on other planets.

It does not matter whether it's mars or another planets. The important thing is to be able to survive using the resources of that planet.
This is correct, although it's unlikely we will be able to do things like build a laptop computer from local materials anywhere but Earth.  So there will be a stream of export goods from Earth, basically forever.

Everyone insist to talk on this as if Trump's idea was to shelter terrorists at that safe zone!
Neither Russians, Iranians or Syrians are fighting civilians, and that's what a safe zone is for.

About Obama's... well... the Russians were way patient!.....
Actually since Russians put boots on the ground ISIS keeps loosing territory after territory, now if Trump keeps to his word, it may be finally the end of that thing.

I think that Trump and Putin together can put a stop to the utter nonsense of the tragedy in Syria.

Trump said he would.

Hitlery pretty much said she would expand it, fighting the Evil Russia.

The issue didn't exist with Bush, and Obama wanted to just ignore the rules and law and let them in.

Here's a reference from about two years ago.

https://www.numbersusa.com/news/fbi-says-there-no-way-vet-incoming-syrian-refugees

Interesting.  A different federal official said he had confidence in our ability to vet (see at 55 mark - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5qYMv8-qp0).

Either way, this doesn't mean we didn't vet at all.  One expressed concern, one said it was okay, but no where did we just say "come on in!"

That is exactly what they did say for the issue of the illegal Mexicans.  I have confidence in our ability to control our southern border, but not if the acting President tells the Border Patrol to not control it.  Which is exactly what was done by Obama.

Clapper did voice an opinion he had confidence in our ability to vet, but also that the Syrian refugee issue was a "disaster of biblical proportions."
6469  Other / Politics & Society / Huge March Against Global Warming on: February 04, 2017, 04:34:35 AM
Bearing signs with such slogans as "You Can't Build A Snowman With Rain" and "Winter = Life," the crystalline-ice protestors, many of whom had chartered refrigerated tractor-trailers and ice-cream trucks to travel to the mass protest, complained that popular stereotypes about snowmen obscure and trivialize the crisis.

"Humans sneer at us, 'If you want to stay intact, go to the North Pole and live with Santa,'" said Susie Flakeman, a Thunder Bay, Ontario snowwoman waiting in line with hundreds of others to use a Porta-Freezer. "But less than one-half of 1 percent of us ever receive that honor. Most of us end up victims of the scourge that almost killed Frosty: man-made climate change."

The protest was largely peaceful, disrupted only by a disturbing incident in which one distraught snowman hurled himself into the reflecting pool of the National Mall. He suffered third-degree slush on over 90 percent of his body before rescuers could recover him. He was rushed to a local meat locker where he was pronounced melted on arrival.

Some scientists refuted the snowbeings' claims regarding global warming.

"Throughout history, the earth has endured periods of temperature fluctuation," said Dr. Harley Morrison, a biochemist who has advised President Bush on scientific issues. "Also, there have already been several major blizzards throughout North America this season alone. I made a snowman myself, and he lasted for several weeks."

I thought it a bit strange if a country prohibits foreigners, especially Muslims to visit the country. Huh many people who agree with me. what is the reason Donald trump, ban Muslims entry to the United States. and we know the importance of a sense of religious tolerance.  Shocked thank you

First of all, Donald Trump didn't ban the adherents of a particular religion. He temporarily suspended the immigration from seven countries for a period of 90 days until more effective vetting could be put in to practice. And this suspension is applicable for all the people in those countries. It is not just for the Muslims.

The truth is that rather than the problem being with the "Ban that Trump created" the problem was with the completely free borders concepts that Obama was implementing.

That is false.  There were increases in deportations and a very long vetting process already in place under what Obama implemented.  Trump just wants to make sure he is happy with it and maybe tweak it.
I don't think that is correct regarding the so-called "Syrians" who had no paperwork or proof of identity.

Were they allowed in with no vetting?
I doubt that they were released without verification. Now the terrorist attacks on America will not. For them the number one target Europe. Muslims and Putin is not satisfied with a United Europe. For America they will take then.
There was no way to vet them, because there was no government infrastructure operating in Syria.  That's what started this whole issue, if I recall correctly.

So yes, they were being let in without vetting, without any background check.  Avoiding the customary system.  Obama and Clinton would have had us like Europe.

Do you have evidence of this?  And, once Trump starts to re-admit Syrian refugees - will this change or just be back to where it was?  Also, how specifically was it different under Bush?  Did he have an executive order that made things different?  If so, which one?  Or was there a law that applied differently that Obama repealed?

The issue didn't exist with Bush, and Obama wanted to just ignore the rules and law and let them in.

We can see now that trumps victory was not a cheat. He was ellected by people to save the americans job which he promised. As no american likes muslim and as wanted to pull them away from country which trump promised and he did so was the reason for his victory.

Trump promised a lot of things so what? To build a wall to expel from the country migrants is more he can do, but how it will enable the Americans to get new jobs? He's lying. Not all of it is understood.

It's okay if you don't understand it all.

As for the jobs, we've already seen him cause IIRC a couple hundred thousand jobs to stay in the US instead of move to other countries.  One deal at a time.

For corporate tax reduction (35% to 15%).

And guess whos gonna pay that: the american tax payer Smiley....

That's wrong.  Corporate taxes are ALWAYS passed on to the consumer base in the form of higher prices for goods.  Lower corporate taxes directly means lower prices on consumer goods, which means higher consumption, more manufacturing, etc.

Economics isn't always intuitive, I guess.

I guess it wasnt obvious but i was talking about the financing of the tax reduction.

The annual corporate tax revenue of the US is around 400 billion $.
A reduction from 35 to 10% would mean an average tax revenue loss of 280 billion $.

You dont actually believe everyone will start to sell 3x more (or buy 3x times more) stuff or?

Economics is not that simple like donalds wants it to be - atleast if you dont have a billionaire daddy.
Add one factory job to a town, that means 4-5x that much economic activity in the town.  Think of it as 4 more jobs in service industries.  Each of those does involve the government receipt of taxes.  Well, most of them.  Some areas do have large black markets.

I don't see a net loss at all, assuming there is an increase in manufacturing jobs.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2017/02/01/schumer-makes-clear-democrats-filibuster-gorsuch-nomination/97340692/

The Democrats are the ones that started the "nuclear option" of 50 not 60 votes.  Now that the tables are turned and the other side's in power, they are showing such virtuous fake outrage at their own policy being used by the other side.
What have the Democrats? The nuclear option is no less exploited by the Republicans. Trump himself talked about that will strengthen America's military strength. If Americans lose their allies that the entire economy of America will work on the army.
Um, no, I think you misunderstand.  It has nothing to do with weapons, just a Senate rule that 60 votes is required.  The slang "nuclear option" refers to the Democrats changing the rule to 50.....now the Repubs are in power, this backfires on them.
I think that in General it is not possible to work in a situation when the majority of citizens and other governments of the world do not support the policy of Trump. I think you need to fight for his resignation.

So citizens of a nation in electing a leader should be sensitive as to whether other nations want that choice to be made?

I believe most US citizens if they had been asked, "would the world like Trump to be elected?"
...they would have said "Absolutely not!"

No, of course not. Only things change if Americans want to see America as a country a world leader. Now who will listen to Americans? Now the whole world will seek the possibility of convergence around a more predictable partner.
And what would such a person act like?

Not like Merkel, with her silly fantasies of world utopias, at the direct expense and suffering of the people of her nation.

https://wattsupwiththat.com/2017/01/31/trump-epa-transition-advisor-trump-will-honor-his-campaign-pledge-to-pull-the-us-out-of-the-paris-climate-agreement/

US president Donald Trump will honour his campaign pledge to pull the US out of the Paris climate agreement and defund UN climate programmes, a former adviser to the new administration has said.

Myron Ebell served as head of the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) transition team from early September until 19 January, when he helped to draft an advisory action plan on how to implement Trump’s campaign promises.

At a press briefing held by the Global Warming Policy Foundation (GWPF) and the Foreign Press Association (FPA) in London today, Ebell declined to divulge any details of the EPA document on the grounds that it is confidential.
What's wrong with the Paris agreement? I certainly do not believe that global warming exists, but the problem is best addressed before its manifestation. Besides alternative energy sources allow people to be more independent.
The Paris agreement was considered to become law when 55 nations jointly producing 55% or more of emissions signed it.  Since the US and China together produce over 40%, a Trump pullout destroys the entire scheme.

President Trump on Friday morning maintained his bellicose tone toward Iran, suggesting that, unlike Barack Obama, he would not be “kind” with Tehran.

The president had other unfinished work on Friday morning. He had to get in the last word with the former governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, who replaced him on the reality television show “The Apprentice.” Mr. Schwarzenegger suggested on Thursday that they switch jobs.

I dont see anything wrong with how he proceeds with his presentation. In that picture the drawing was probably of a child and its so kind of him to use a kids drawing to present in front of many people in one of his meetings. Other presidents have no guts doing it, its not embarrassing but it just shows that children has a place on his heart and thats why he is against abortion.

In 1974, the National Center For Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado showed no net warming from 1870 to 1970, and a 0.5C cooling from 1940 to 1970.

In 1981, NASA reported about 0.2C warming from 1921 to 1979.

In 1989 Tom Karl, the Director of NOAA’s National Climatic Data Center, said Earth had cooled from 1921 to 1979.

But by 1999, NASA had changed the 1921 to 1979 cooling which Tom Karl reported into almost 0.3C warming, and had erased most of the 1940 to 1970 cooling.

No. The US has a minimum wage of 10+$, social securities and enviroment protection laws.
Lowering corporate tax wont make them competitive with mexico, india, china and other emerging countries.
Of course it is only one factor.   Depends on the nature of the goods, too.  In certain cases high freight costs  are a factor.
