6481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung has now entered the cryptocurrency world on: February 06, 2018, 03:32:52 PM

As we know Samsung is one of the biggest and famous phones, smartphones, tablets producers in the whole world and now they are planning to make there own mining software. Is this a good news for us bitcoin users? I mean what are they aiming for?

For more info just read visit the link: https://www.sammobile.com/news/samsung-is-reportedly-making-mining-hardware-for-cryptocurrencies/
They are already jumping into the trend since they do know that they can able to make money with it. Focusing on making mining hardware would really patch up the scarcity or demand of people who do look for it. They do see the high demand this is why they do really decide to engage with this and as a business they can make money out of this but well this is only my assumption but the possibility on having right observation is high.
6482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How will this drop in prices of BTC and ETH affect ICOs on: February 06, 2018, 12:27:58 PM
I have been wondering lately what the effects of this huge decline in btc and ETH ( other cryptos too)prices will have on ICOs, especially those concluded when prices are high but have not moved to the next phase of their project execution?
In general matter i dont see any effects on such decline either on btc or on eth coins since they can anytime set particular amount of tokens basing on the recent value of those coins. If prices are way too volatile then it would surely affect if the ICO is finished and tokens being launched on exchanges. As expected price of those coins would decline to yet investors will secure profits or break even scenarios.
6483  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Picasso video course really good, but so expensive.Anyone? on: February 05, 2018, 10:30:44 PM
Still for sale guys, get it while btc price is low at the moment.
No one would get this ridiculous expensive video course for sure. 0.5 btc might be cheap on todays price but people are accumulating cheap coins as of now while its still cheap and wasting up their bitcoins into these videos wont really be worth it at all. Same question as eternalgloom asked above. have you make any sales yet? I doubt theres none for sure.
6484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin can overcome this hit, Bitcoin will moon! on: February 05, 2018, 08:35:23 PM
This is hardly the biggest hit Bitcoin ever took.

It survived the Gox hack, and the Goxing a couple of years later... and those were proportionally MASSIVE events.
It survived a couple of years where the only thing you'd get out of people when talking about bitcoin was "oh the internet money used to buy hard drugs, child porn, and illegal guns".

We are not seeing a bigger "hit" than that.
I agree to this points which the thing that are happening now is indeed the result of the 2nd thing being mentioned above which is its always been treated to have that negative effects on engaging on bitcoin and results are? We are seeing it already which bitcoin is already being prohibited and being banned and also into other altcoin in the market but yet these things arent enough to make bitcoins would go its price to the floor. It can really survive no matter what as long the interest of people would be still there.
6485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Its over guys on: February 05, 2018, 10:36:37 AM
This year cryptos will goto oblivion. End of days.

India's unfavorable crypto stance and more countries to follow.

I warned you people 2 weeks ago, still there is time. Get out of this with minimum losses.
I do respect your own view but wont really be a convincing thing for me to quit on this cryptoworld. This would still last longer as you expected. Price might go into oblivion but thinking off these kind of situations did already happen for many times and yet its still hanging up and reaching new heights for some time.Inspite of panicking out better to see this as an opportunity for us to buy cheaper coins.
6486  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining BTC after 21M on: February 03, 2018, 10:17:09 PM
So it is year 2024 and the max BTC supply is reached at ~21M.

I'll speculate that the price of energy around the world will be higher than it is today, so that will cut into the miners profits. They will also be receiving their BTC on fees alone, not the generation of BTC for completing the block (like today).

Will it be economical to continue mining BTC going forward? The large mining operations can always set up a solar panel system to reduce energy costs.

Even if some of the larger miners shut down, I'm sure there will be enough miners around the world where the blocks will still be completed, but it may take longer. (The mempool may grow like it did before X-mas last year)  I'm not exactly sure how the lightning network will affect the mempool....?

Is it possible that the S/W for BTC may be augmented to a semi POS type of system?
Last supply of bitcoin would be mined is on year 2140. I dont know where you do get that year 2024 but it isnt the right year. Miners would be still on work even though they are not mining but yet they would still earn profits on making confirmations or pushing up transactions among the network and i do believe on those years fees would really be high for sure. The question is if bitcoin would able to survive into those years.
6487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Green day on: February 03, 2018, 09:20:37 PM
Hi guys do you think the dip is end and the green days wil go on ?
No one knows if the trend did reverse already or not but somehow we do already see some greens or gains as of this moment which we can really assume that this would already continue along the way but we cant still be sure since anytime trend do changes on where it would go.It just really a matter of rise and fall of prices. The important thing here is that we should able to know on what we do on these kind of circumstances.
6488  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Did You do Wrong on: February 03, 2018, 07:48:36 PM
Here is a fun question for all of you who started in trading in crypto. I know this is a learning experience for all.
What do you wish you did or didn't do when you first started, trading, buying and selling?

What did you learn? that you should have done or not.
this could be fun

mine was traded too much of my BTC and should have held.
as I didn't know anything about trading at that time. now I know.
plus buying some coins at too high and wanting to just have it
now I am smarter, I wait wait till a dip and buy at a low point

now your turn
Common mistake on newbie to trading this is "Buy HIGH Sell Low" but well these things cant really be avoided because we do still lack of knowledge but somehow we would really able to enhance our skill and ideas towards it. Mistakes and regrets can really be felt this is why we do strive to learn even more to avoid those mistakes again and to be profitable on this trading career.
6489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't panic! on: February 02, 2018, 10:15:08 PM
For anyone who is panicking at the market-wide price drops, please don't! There is no reason to panic. Look long-term, don't look at price charts over the last week or month, look at them over the last year and see the pattern of rises followed by pullbacks... but the course is always upwards.

If you're new and bought in during December and now see huge losses... the worst thing you can do is sell now. Prices will increase in the long term. The current dip is just a correction to the wild excesses of last month. Don't panic!
If the prices you can see now are lower than the prices that you bought in at, then the best thing you can do is buy more. Why? This will lower your average entry price.
If you bought bitcoin at $16000 and see it now at $8000, the course of action is clear: buy the same amount at $8000, and your average entry point is no longer $16000, it's (16000+8000)/2=$12000.

Don't sell, buy!

This is one of the way on changing your average entry price but would really be hard to convinced yourself on investing even more because of the panic that price dips do gave into you. If you are trading on swings then this would be applicable but you should really be a risk taker since price movements wont really be a guarantee that it would goes on what you did expect.
6490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WARREN BUFFET says Bitcoin won't end well on: February 02, 2018, 09:32:16 PM
What is your  opinion as per  Warren buffet statement, he is a wealthy giant globally he told CNBC on Wednesday the recent craze over bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies won't end well. "In terms of cryptocurrencies, generally, I can say with almost certainty that they will come to a bad ending,"
Am really scared hope the end is not near. I want to hear from knowledgeable individual what the future holds.
No. 1 rule on this cryptoworld which is dont ever believe or trust someones words towards on how crypto would be either regarding on prices or future predictions. That BUffet man is just saying his own opinion not totally a reliable thing to consider for you to believe that guy usually make some funds but the truth is he do make engagement with bitcoin which is a total dumbass.
6491  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How do I avoid tax on crypto on: February 02, 2018, 08:45:15 PM
Government has enslaved people to continually work for them. The elites who
hijack political powers with their influence are the ones imposing these taxes.
This is the major reason decentralized block-chain technology came into fore
to eliminate the injustice of banks, government laws and restrictions observed
globally. If the tax is fair, well and good. But if very heavy and unfair, i simply
relocate to elsewhere for a better deal.
Taxation is everywhere which it will normally be asked by any government but the thing here is that on how they do gonna handle it if it would be following the right process or not.Abuse of this opportunity because of their power is common which they really the advantage on making money out of those tax this is why decentralization makes a buzz as of now where people do see the chance on changing something when it comes to tax.
6492  Economy / Economics / Re: Inheriting Cryptos on: February 02, 2018, 08:03:29 PM
I was thinking the other day, of the eventuality of inheritance and cryptos.

We are all busy trading and hoarding as many coins as we can in the hope to be self sufficient later on down the road, but we should remember to have a plan to share the details, or all could be in vein.

Should there not be a mechanism allowing the inheritance of coins which have not be transferred during life to ones loved one? If someone is to pass and not provide the access to their wallets these coins are forever lost.

Food for thought.
We are all mostly doing this for the sake of our future to our family and accumulating coins as much as we can would really be there and we should really think of on how we gonna pass those tokens incase we die.In my own way i do keep all of my information of all my wallet into a single usb then i do tell my closest friend that incase i die i ask him to guide my family on getting those amounts inside it. Maybe it not easy to trust someone since those would really involve big amounts but bestfriends would never do that. Cool
6493  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Eyes in the Sky — Millions of Civilian Drones hovering over Flashpoints on: February 01, 2018, 10:43:46 PM
its avoid privacy and also against decentralization
I agree with this comment which is actually true. This would entirely violating privacy which people dont really like it. I dont see the decentralized stuff on this matter. This might be helpful into those protest things or robbery but we should not only focus only into that issue since we are almost seeing everything if there are lots of drones hovering into those so-called flashpoints.
6494  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mining directly to Binance BTC Address on: February 01, 2018, 09:56:06 PM
You don't actually control the address you're mining to by mining to Binance, wouldn't recommend it. Always mine to an address you control, and use a Segwit address (Starting with 3) to reduce fees for the most security and least fees. You also avoid the aforementioned maintenances, etc that occur on exchanges.

Besides that, fees are already pretty low right now. Unless another spam attack happens, fees shouldn't be an issue.

https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue
Fees would really eventually changed when theres a spam attack in the network which would really be a major problem if we do make minimal amount of transactions. Its not advisable to store up on wallet which you dont have the possesion of the keys and also you are mattering to fee charges which been said we can make use of segwit address as of now.Less fees faster confirmation. Just a reminder dont ever use a wallet where you dont have dont have the full accessibility on it.
6495  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN fall less than 9K USD! on: February 01, 2018, 08:58:09 PM
as of now, bitcoin price is less than 9.000 USD, and the graph is really bloody and still falling.
what is your plan for your bitcoin?
sell now or buy more and wait for the rocket?
This is already being anticipated before which it can really possibly hit or break that 9k support and now we are seeing below in these ranges not only on bitcoin itself but also on most altcoins in the market we are seeing reds now but still we should not still be on doubt because it will go up sooner or later the best thing to do now is not to sell but rather buy cheap coins and wait for long term for profits.
6496  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How Do You Even Pay Taxes on Crypto? on: January 31, 2018, 08:09:51 PM
What do you do to pay your cryptotaxes? What happens if you don't pay?
Are any of you planning on paying taxes on your alts and btc this season?
Theres still no such implementation on taxation directly with bitcoin or into altcoin which means we are just being taxed if we do convert those coins into local fiats which this thing would be entirely depending on which country you do live on. Knowing that there are different restrictions or basis  of transactions on each particular country but if you are just holding your coins then taxation isnt applicable on this.
6497  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why don't people realize the problems with cloud mining? on: January 31, 2018, 07:22:37 PM
To me the answer is simple.
Many people dont like to research and find out the answer.
They will believe anything, and if someone promises them x-profit its a nobrainer for them to "invest" their money.
These kind of person doesnt really value their money at all where they do carelessly invest into things which they saw they can able to make profits without doing much hard work. They do already saw the results and the things do happen and the convenience that it gives without even minding the risk involve if this business is sustainable or not.Realization would happen if they do already facing consequences.
6498  Economy / Economics / Re: As long as you convert your crypto to fiat, we will never go mass adoption on: January 31, 2018, 05:14:15 PM
People! please don't look at crypto as an ez money maker, and please don't convert to fiat, I would suggest to USE it rather than spend it.
The next time you pay for something, always encourage them to accept crypto. If they refuse, then so be it, but what you're doing is the effort so that many people will hear about it, and maybe the next time someone asked them to receive payment through crypto, maybe they will change their mind and try it.

This is how your transfer the market cap from fiat to blockchain and this is how you realize true gain, your 10 coins valued at let's say 100$ can go to the moon if more people would switch to crypto.
Please please please, we want a future with just peer to peer txion, F the middle man!
Spreading awareness about bitcoin or any other altcoins in the market isnt really bad even on small contributions would really mean a lot towards adoption but the sad fact that not all people that has been told would easily believe or would rather neglect or refuse such thing which is normal because not all are not into something which isnt really backed by the government. This is the sad truth and we must face it.
6499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook, limited advertising campaigns on: January 31, 2018, 04:17:42 PM
It's a very sad news for bounty hunters and for our work. It seems that it is necessary to change the conditions of the bounty and get around these bans.  Sad
bounty programs are posted in this forum so don't worry, i think that move by facebook is somehow good for the community as well since some of the users there are not familiar with cryptocurrency and it happens most of them are investing in fake ICO which is advertise by facebook, i'm not saying that advertised ICOs there are fake but there are some.
There are really projects which are scam that are using facebook adverstisements ( i forgot the name) ,I dont know if they would ban also post related to crypto or not or they do just ban those sponsored advertisements which being used by those project who do make some ICO. Right step for facebook because they do really see this going to a spam. Might be disadvantage for some legit projects because it would really decrease the exposure unlike on previous months where they do still allow it.
6500  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I BOUGHT INS AT $20 AND ITS $3.5 on: January 30, 2018, 08:55:57 PM
I bought INS when it had just been listed on Binance 1 hour after and it kept going down, but my friend advised me to hodl, i feel very frustrated man, Has anyone went through this before ?
Well, i'm in a similar situation(different token though). if you believe the project will be successful then hodl or sell if you don't and invest in some other project. the token that i've bought, i believe in it and i'm sure i'll make profit. my token is currently down 70% from the price that i bought in.
Even myself do still hold up my coins lowering about 85% which can really cause soo much panic if you are not get used to these kind of event but having experience would really hold you up into your coin which i agree on the thing that if you do believe the coin you have been holding then you will surely hold it no matter what would the price. It might takes time but really be worth to hold on. As long we didnt sell we are not still losing our entire investment.
