There are so many people talking about bter is a scam. Bter is a Chinese exchange. You should consider if you trust them or not. Some Chinese sites turned out to be a scam. So, if you don't quite trust them, then don't use them. There're plenty of alternatives.

There is not a 100% chance PayPal will give the money back, but it's pretty high I think? I'm pretty sure PayPal doesn't allow seller protection for cryptocurrency and that's why it's such a huge risk for the recipient. PayPal, in the first place and defends its interests , what can be claimed if you donates money to a friend, only if it is presented as unauthorized transaction, or hacked account |
