6521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do bounty managers hide spreadsheet and pay hunters penny? on: September 13, 2018, 10:47:49 AM
The practice of bounty managers hiding their spreadsheet from participants is becoming rampant. They hide their spreadsheet and pay bounty hunters penny, which I think is a lack of integrity and it is totally uncalled for.
I have participated in like 3 bounties in the past where managers refuse to make the spreadsheet available to hunters. They all paid ridiculous amount. I got tokens worth $18 for 3 contents that I created. I believe this is exploitation and it have to stop.

Hiding spreadsheets during the campaign is fine with me as long as they will be released after the bounty ends and that all participants will be given a few days to check if their stakes are counted correctly.
6522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum price killing a lot of new ICO tokens on: September 13, 2018, 10:28:12 AM
Many did not expect a big drop in ethereum price and it certainly affected various ICO's. A lot of projects are now forced to adjust on this market condition.

6524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ***** When I was a newbie bounty hunter. on: September 07, 2018, 07:16:34 AM
I want to share something about the reality.

Investors me not, but at some point of my life...I invest time to find a way to have some alternative coins or bitcoin as well. Investing time and effort in finding some opportunity without throwing a money, all I need to do is find a job here in bitcointalk.org  as a bounty hunter. On my first month of being a bounty hunter, I do a lot of effort to join on shitty campaign cause all I want is to have more experience and income as well. But I left off the importance of choosing the right newly crypto project. For my 5 months of having a good time reading and  investing time, effort, knowledge and idea, some of my campaign didn't work out, so the worst thing will come and all your work will be wasted cause you never find any good payment on all of that. As far as I remember, all my altcoins is equal to 0.110 btc for at least 8 projects.

Well, investing is not only money and other asset you've had. But also time, effort and knowledge as well.

Let me read yours?

Your story is pretty common among bounty hunters. We all have that story that we spend a lot time and effort but did not get paid in the end. I joined a few campaigns as well that haven't paid. The one I regret the most is joining a signature campaign for 22 WEEKS!!!! and only got a few tokens due to its dismal token sale.
6525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT IS RISK IN INVESTING IN CRYPTOCURRENCY on: September 07, 2018, 07:12:29 AM
i invest so much in cryptocurrency there is possible a risk? in investing in cryptocurrency, what is the main risk you encounter in investing in crypto
i hope an anyone give me an example a risk in investing in cryptocurrency,

There is always that risk in investing in cryptocurrency due to the volatility of the market. What you can do is to lower that by doing your own reading before investing in a coin or token and learning how to trade.
6526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Don't panic sell on: September 07, 2018, 07:06:44 AM
I would like to agree with the author. People come to your senses !!! If we continue to sell everything, giving in to emotions, we will destroy prices and then it will take whole years to restore the market. We do not need this. Really?

This is just how the market works, it's open for everyone. Either you take advantage of the trends or you just hodl and ignore what's happening.
6527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Don't panic sell on: September 07, 2018, 07:04:25 AM
The crypto market is in the red right now, Ethereum suffering the most, but don't panic sell people, it will rise again.

There are people who sell not because of panic but because they want to take advantage of the downtrend to buy back at a lower rate. Pretty risky but rewarding if done right.
6528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitstraq, a new centralized exchange with more to offer on: September 07, 2018, 06:56:24 AM
If this is a serious project there needs to be an ANN page along with a bounty for marketing. From this i would say it is not worth the investment unless there is something more to see. The listed features looks good, if you can build an exchange with AI and extra security then it attract investors and volume

This is what I was thinking also. There should be a separate ANN for this providing more information and not just another topic on Altcoin Discussion.
6529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you judge a coin/token/project by their website? on: September 07, 2018, 06:49:41 AM
Pretty simple question. At the moment 99.999% of new coins tokens and crypto project all have a telegram group (full spam and bounty hunters) , a twitter account that only posts pre-made bullish news about their own coin, a subreddit with 20 subscribers and 5 bots, a Facebook page full of 3rd world country princes asking for your eth private key.
What is left to judge a product? Only their website. But how accurate and trustworthy can a website be? White paper too aren't to be trusted, since 90% of the time they get changed work-in-progress.

What metrics do you use?

You have raised some valid points and I agree with them. It is now hard to determine which ones are legit base only on social media, whitepaper, and website. That is why I now prefer if projects have some working MVP.
6530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earn token except bounty campaign? on: September 07, 2018, 06:47:22 AM
Hello guys i want to know about have any other way to earn token/altcoin except bounty campaign?

Do you want to earn tokens for free or with investment? There are offers out there for free but most of them are scams. You are better off with airdrop and bounties.
6531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Security Tokens the Future of Cryptocurrency? on: September 07, 2018, 06:19:22 AM
Imagine a crypto-world with a SEC compliant tokens. Enter the World of Security Tokens! This is a pure investment tool giving a way for global audience to invest in projects with fewer scams.

I would agree that it has a better chance of preventing scams since it'll be more regulated. With that said, it could possibly attract more traditional investors. I just don't know about being "the future of cryptocurrency", I think it security tokens beats the concept of decentralization.
6532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Scamcoins work. on: September 07, 2018, 05:53:21 AM
This is the same strategy of numerous airdrops I have been into. They usually create demand by making huge announcement like second airdrop or holders airdrop

6536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT KEEPS YOU SANE IN THESE CRYPTO BLOODBATHS? on: September 05, 2018, 04:44:27 PM
A friend of mine told me that when they started crypto business or investment, having as little as $1 reward was like winning a Grammy award. so that type of individual is not bothered about the red market because in their very eyes, those coins that was less than a dollar or even up to a dollar has multiply over the years to even thousands and millions of dollars. those who gave up are the ones that loss but for him and few others that stayed, they have experience to share and have all the knowledge to guide us in patience. He advises us all the time to invest during down-tides and he is not afraid of anything you throw at him in crypto. He has paid the price. I follow same. Whatever goes down will always come up. According to an African saying, "there is nothing you will eat that your hand will stay permanent in your mouth" Somewhere somehow, things will fall into pleasant places.

Wow! Strong hands there. You are lucky to have a friend who has thru maybe the worst of times in crypto and giving you some advise.
6537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT KEEPS YOU SANE IN THESE CRYPTO BLOODBATHS? on: September 05, 2018, 04:41:15 PM
I think this an important advice but some of them is not too correct in my opinion, like holding until grave or moon, a traders supposed to be having a buy and sell limit, and you can become expert by building experience, the most important thing to keep you insane is always invest the money that you can afford to lose, crypto investment is very risky, people need to understand this before invest

Thanks! Great tips.

On hodl until moon or grave is referring to the tokens you plan to keep for long term, not those you plan to trade soon. Atleast that's how I understand it.
6538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Dumper Thinking on: September 02, 2018, 02:34:38 PM
I do not agree with people dumping what I think as quality coins or tokens. Maybe because they have liquidity issues or maybe because they also expect others to dump.
6539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs should only create Tokens with Working Product(s) on: September 02, 2018, 02:25:14 PM
Enough of people just creating tokens just for the sole purpose of trading it in exchanges and making money after the ICO. In order for a token to survive or stand the test of time, there is need for it to have a working product or service it directly supports. This is what a lot of tokens are lacking today.

In my opinion, any token to be created should bring in something new. It must be a token that will add value to the society and not just for the purpose of trading it in exchanges and cashing out money.

If we actually want cryptocurrency to survive and appeal to the ordinary people, then we must create ONLY tokens relevant to the society's needs or solves at least a particular societal problem.

I agree with this one. Gone are the days of just promises and hype. Having a MVP or prototype should  be the new standard for ICOs. I just hope investors should be smarter by now.
6540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: North Korea Moving to Crypto Exchanges and Mining on: September 02, 2018, 02:20:58 PM
This is a good news for crypto. I think we will see more countries who are being hit by economic sanctions to adapt crypto currencies.
