I didn't stay up to watch, but thanks to those who bought out the wall/s and also to those with the ingenious conspiracy theories, anyway for those interested in the numbers it totals 23,830 DRK that I purchased the last couple of days from those walls at 0.00666 - 0.0069 - 0.007 the average price being at 0.0068869 so very approx at $2.69 maybe. I've started 15 more DN today, 20 in total now, those coins are now gone from the market for the foreseeable future, at least until 2017. Hope that you found it entertaining, they'll be more to come I expect  It was certainly entertaining to watch yesterday didnt realised you actually got to the point that you could setup those 15 extra MN's .. good for you. lets talk about another topic, lets talk about using our wallets as liquidity providers by starting the wallet with commandline option -liquidityprovider=<n> (0 to 100, default 0, 1=very frequent, 100=very infrequent) There used to be high fees with option 1 and low fees with option 100 but with Darksend letting go of the fees (except for some sporadic fees) its much easier (and dare i say cheaper ) to run wallets as liquidity provider now. i think its time we let our wallets do some liquidity testing.. see if it works as it should be. Been away for a while. Can anyone tell me if Darksend is easy enough to use, that it can be used by the average moron? How long does denomination take for say 1000 coins? Have the bugs been resolved?
a lot has happened these last few days with Evan pushing out updates at lightning speed. the MN network is in the middle of updating to v10.16.12 which should solve a bug in the Darksend mixing and also the fees were thrown out for Darksend mixing, leaving only a sporadic small fee that happens very rarely and will be charged to randomly selected mixers so it will be completely unpredictable and impossible to trace. Once the network stabilizes some more i suspect we go towards testing Instant Transactions on Testnet. We are still in a testing & squashing bugs phase but there is a light at the end of the tunnel and that light is burning brighter and brighter with each passing day. Also we got some nice price support at Bitfinex since yesterday. Next few weeks are bound to get interesting. edit : that nice price support just turned into a 15K buy wall at 0.007 |

My first MN were started yesterday, all MN running costs I will be paying with BTC, all DRK that I earn form MN will go to more MNs, just started with five, very impressed, another fifteen in a day or two, etc...

yeah, that good soul has been doing that since yesterday... replenishing the 10K every so often (was first 11K @ 0.0066) Any idea how much they already bought? Looking at bitcoinwisdom trade history, rough guess is maybe 5k since midnight GMT. Not sure about yesterday's action though. not sure how much they bought so far .. i think they put in like 73 BTC ? what is a typical ETA until darksend mixing starts moving up from 0% ? Or doesn't darksend mixing work yet? Do I need to wait for a next update? The thing is flipping between 'idle' and 'Last darksend was too recent'. Anything else I need to do than press the 'start darksend mixing' button? v0.10.16.11 has an issue that's stopped darksend from working, I've fixed it in v12. I'll have the masternode operators update, then you should be able to mix. Awesome. Guys, I know is a little tiring to go through many updates over a short period of time, but what is great is that Darksend is now basically Darksend 2.0, in the sense that it no longer uses fees for each user session and thus there is nothing to track! This is way stronger anonymity. It doesn't mean Darksend is free, it needs to protect itself from people abusing the system by spamming, but now the fees are charged randomly to different clients that are using Darksend in the network and not directly to each session so there is no pattern to follow. Basically, everybody in the network randomly pays a little fee every now and then to keep Darksend going, it is actually way better in my opinion. I thought it was important to clarify why we have been going through these changes. Also now that there is not a direct fee per session I truly feel is more inviting and more people will be mixing all the time. I actually dont see a reason why not to keep all of your funds anon now. The network needs some time to update as people may be busy, it is the weekend etc, in a couple of days when everybody updates I think we will have a more friendly and stronger Darksend just be patient as we transition to the latest version. There are great things coming for DRK in the next few weeks. In Darkcoin, and in this community and in this developer and in this development team we trust. Sure we are still in the phase of ironing out some bugs but thats okay, in the end we do indeed get a stronger Darkcoin out of it. I'm looking forward to the next couple of weeks. |

We're back at 7. DRK has just put in one of those bullish double tops that so characterised the rise back in May.  looks like the buy wall (still some 10K) got moved up from 0.0066 to 0.0069 |

With regards to the mixing, i think we will see a bit more effort on the mixing next week and i'm sure Evan
reads this thread and will inform us if anything is wrong with the mixing. Personally i think it just needs more
time and maybe not everyone got the message its safe to mix again now.

that fees still play a role here ... maybe we should explore that option some more next week.
edit : i probly should mention there is still one kind of fee with Darksend, its however a very sporadic fee of 0.1 DRK that should
only hit you once a week or something .. its just a very rare fee ment to secure the system.

i wouldnt mind hearing some more specifics about buy walls, sell walls, how they are used
as strategy and what we can exspect with this 11K buy wall..... is this a sign that some big
players are entering the Darkcoin market / altcoin market ? Or is this one big whale
trying to corner the market ? or taking protection measurements ?
