Example 1:

On Sunday July 22 I was playing was several tournaments on Betcoin when another Betcoin user (worldpeace) took out my internet for nearly an hour by having a friend dos my ip through the skype exploit. I was able to reconnect briefly a few times, during which he tried to extort $20 from me (i ignored or refused each time)

I opened a ticket and provided screen shots of the extortion attempts and also started a thread to warn other players and secure their skype connection.

I made it clear I wasn't looking for compensation from Betcoin as it wasn't their job to make sure my IP was secure.  But I did expect the user to be banned.

I also checked his Sharkscope and noticed he had won a ridiculously high number of HUSNGs recently, including 8 or 9 in a row that day.  (HUSNG would be easiest way to exploit another player by taking out their internet during match)

Betcoins Response:

WorldPeace was never banned.  He actually won the Betcoin Daily Coin tournament that night as well as the lastlonger and was congratulated by Staff member/"Mod" plo8monster.

I can't copy the entire ticket since I'm currently banned, but I do have a screen shot of the only response I received from Betcoin which asked me if he apologized.  You can read my response, I think I bumped the ticket a couple more times and eventually gave up.

https://i.gyazo.com/d8bbc629835a8fb4ef72ab682d8be5a4.png

He did apologize in the thread I made:

worldpeace: oh yeah i want to apologise3 months 4 weeks ago
oh yeah i want to apologise for my actions and im sorry

You can find the details of the actual attack in the thread here: https://www.betcoin.ag/worldpeace-scum-tried-extort-me-dos

In case it ends up being deleted, screenshots of extortion attempts and copy of skype logs:

Up next:  Months later several players accuse user of Dosing cash games mid hand to win pots via other players disconnect.  Betcoin responds promising update after investigation and then proceeds to provide several examples of why I'm making these posts.
6542  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetcoinPoker.com Betcoin.ag-Daily Freerolls Ring Games GTD Tourneys Real Poker on: November 14, 2015, 01:14:55 AM
I'm not sure if it would be best to start a new thread or just post everything in this thread.

I think I might not be able to share images because of my forum newbie status, could a mod give me permission to insert images to my posts? (or let me know what I'm doing wrong?  img /img tags around link to image not workin)

I have many examples of Betcoins unacceptable behavior, I want to share them all.  My motivation for doing this is simple:  I think Betcoin has shown a pattern of unethical behavior.  They do a very good job of maintaining a good appearance to the rest of the poker and bitcoin community with various techniques.  I consider it my responsibility as a player to let other players know whats going on.  It's something I've been putting off for months because I wanted to include all the details- the more I put it off the longer the list gets and it becomes overwhelming.  It think it's best however to just start typing and posting each example one at a time.

I accuse Betcoin and will provide evidence of the following:

- Being fully aware of players being cheated by other players- instead of making victims whole they either:

A - allow the cheater to keep the funds
B - seize and keep funds for themselves
C - Use the funds for a promotion (clearly same as B imo)

- Not putting reasonable effort into protecting their players from being cheating.

- Being fully aware of past issues with their software which resulted in players either losing funds they shouldn't or not receiving funds they were entitled to and not compensating ALL players appropriately. (if all players suffer from same issue, all players should be compensated equally, regardless of whether all players were aware or complained about issue)

- Being fully aware of current issues with their software which could potentially cause players to lose money and allowing them to continue.

- Lying to players in their live player chat and moderating their forums inconsistently and unethically without explanation.

- Encouraging players to discredit those who criticize without consideration as to whether or not the criticism was valid.

First Example coming up shortly...

6543  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetcoinPoker.com Betcoin.ag-Daily Freerolls Ring Games GTD Tourneys Real Poker on: November 13, 2015, 11:18:09 PM
Why not play somewhere else?  I play at many different places, but you should play where you are happiest.  I enjoy the community here at Betcoin the most and hope they add the WPN tournaments back in, but casino, sports and dice I also play.

Would that make it ok for Betcoin to behave this way?

(Currently I am playing over 50 hours a week across 4 different sites, Betcoin has not been one of them.  The last time I included Betcoin in my regular schedule was October 11th, working on explaining why now  )
6544  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetcoinPoker.com Betcoin.ag-Daily Freerolls Ring Games GTD Tourneys Real Poker on: November 13, 2015, 10:26:59 PM
Ive been banned from the betcoin community.  I will be sharing my opinion soon along with many more examples of betcoin support behaving questionably ,  but here is most recent copy of public and private chat with BetcoinAndrew:

Public Chat: READ FROM BOTTOM TO TOP

Private Chat (initially asking why I was temp banned from last night)

Betcoin Maria joined the chat

Betcoin Maria
Hello.
TwitchySeal/OHYEAH
hi

Betcoin Maria
Can you please tell me your username?
TwitchySeal/OHYEAH
twitchyseal/OHYEAH

Betcoin Maria
Please give me a minute to check this for you.
Betcoin Andrew joined the chat

Betcoin Andrew
Apologies Twitchy, we were just dealing with a lot and had too many people complaining that you were spamming chat.
TwitchySeal/OHYEAH
i wasn't spamming chat

Betcoin Andrew
Was just another thing to deal with that we didn't have time for.
TwitchySeal/OHYEAH
nobody complained about me spamming

Betcoin Maria left the chat

Betcoin Andrew
People actually always complain about you.

To be fair they complain about others as well.
TwitchySeal/OHYEAH
Andrew, lets just be honest here

It was for the same reason you delete so many posts wasn't it

Because I was being critical of Betcoins unethical practices

AT THIS POINT I GOT RE BANNED
ok andrew

why am i banned

Betcoin Andrew
I don't have time to waste.

I am fielding some very important questoins from our players
TwitchySeal/OHYEAH
why are you banning me then

maybe if you are able to admit to your self the answer, it will help things for everyone

hello?

hello?

Betcoin Andrew
Because we have too many players to help.
TwitchySeal/OHYEAH
then you should hire more straff

Betcoin Andrew
Honestly this is a waste of my time.  With everything else we deal with, it's just easier and smoother for business.  A business decision.

We are.

On that note, I must go for now.
TwitchySeal/OHYEAH
noted

so i am no longer welcome at betcoin

Betcoin Andrew
There are some great sites for you to play on out there, we have a lot of respect for some great sites out there.

I just need to get through these issues with some players then I will let you back into spam our chat and waste time.
TwitchySeal/OHYEAH
I am fully aware of other sites and how they operate - its part of my motivation for holding betcoin accountable for their decisions

Betcoin Andrew
You actually can play poker, sports and casino from the client, you just are not in the community.
TwitchySeal/OHYEAH
fair enough

Betcoin Andrew
But there are many great communities at nitrogen and sealsclubhouse for example.

Do you think we want to do this?
TwitchySeal/OHYEAH
good thing im still in the poker community and the bitcoin communisty

Betcoin Andrew
Do you think we want our host offline?
TwitchySeal/OHYEAH
i think you want me to just stfu like everyone else when you do something unethical

Betcoin Andrew
Do you think we want any of these issues that are beyond our control, it can be so frustrating and then to deal with you.
TwitchySeal/OHYEAH
no , obv nobody thinks you want to have issues out of your control

Betcoin Andrew
This is exactly why you are banned, to think that we would even ever do something unethical, then you shouldn't play here, be here or ever come here agin.

I would never go anywhere I thought was unethical.

And you shouldn't either.
TwitchySeal/OHYEAH
its not black and white andrew

Betcoin Andrew
I would not waste my time there for one second.

Being ethical is Trill.

Anyway, no time for this, which is my point.

Dooglus, thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback.  When there is poker player, we have to review the withdrawal to prevent against collusion, abuse, multi-accounting etc.  We would rather have instant withdrawals but some dishonest players make that impossible for all of our great players.

I understand the need to be vigilant against collusion, but that should be an ongoing process; if you're only checking for collusion when a player decides to withdraw, you are doing a disservice to your other players.

Whether or not a player ever attempts to withdraw, you should be checking that his profits don't come from cheating. Because even if he ends up losing his ill-gotten gains back, he's unlikely to lose them to the same people he won them from.

Given this, I don't understand the need for a delay at withdrawal time. It's over 24 hours since I played poker. That's plenty of time for my account to have been reviewed for cheating, and marked as approved for an instant automated withdrawal. That way you don't need to increase your staff, since the system will process withdrawals automatically.

As for your ticket!  We certainly appreciate it and will respond shortly.  It's a wonderful ticket to receive because of the feedback but it isn't certainly one that can be answered in an hour!

OK. I wasn't sure you had even noticed that I was still posting on that ticket. None of my last several replies have been acknowledged. I guess I was expecting a more rapid turnaround time, like I'm seeing here on the forum. Take your time. Smiley

From what I can tell, Betcoin chooses to remain as passive as possible when it comes to poker cheating.

When they do seize funds, I think its very unlikely that returning the money to the players who were unaware of the situation would even be considered.

I have much more to say on this as well as evidence to back up my my claim - just need to put everything together.  Will be shared by Sunday early afternoon.

It's great to see you at betcoin dooglus, I hope betcoin realizes the value of your criticism.

Seems like a cool idea - Sent 0.025, then went to register/sign my address and got the "coming soon" message.  Will this be ready for the draw?

Here's the transaction though (my address as also tagged on blockchain.info)

https://blockchain.info/tx/6d76aa4d3684fd392d71f271b44f7fce26368933368b5a86c979c434a91eb7e6

 Address: 1JqxhKj4CdRqFb7mGdXVMYTMy1MQ5qShsn

(also, initially I accidentally sent 0.000025 BTC because my wallet was set to mbtc and I wasn't thinking, that one is still without verification - even though the fee was more than double the send amount haha.  I sent 0.025 BTC a few minutes after)

Thanks for sharing this over at betcoin dooglus

looks like thingz may stabilize.
U can expect me back around thanksgiving-xmas time frame @ the latest if BTC cools off.

My other option is either Borgata or Harrah's Atlantic City... neither of which I've visited yet.]
1/2/500max is good for seeing the flop w/ small pairs, but live game rake SUCKS HARD.
[even compared to Betcoin's competitors, whom you guyz have put beatdowns on]
Plus the food's cheaper and better @ home, AND I don't hafta deal w/ 4-hour bus rides [EACH WAY!]
listening to old people [and I do mean OLD, I'm 57] bitch about slot machines...

As u can see, merely a matter of affordable...

Borgata 2/5+ charges time, not rake.

If you want to play 1/2 though and theres a game going at Golden Nugget it's best value.

Or just play on 5dimes (assuming this maintenance isn't all of WPN)
6548  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetcoinPoker.com Betcoin.ag-1,800 BTC GTD Tourney-Nov 1-Whitelime Wins 470 BTC on: November 01, 2015, 10:30:54 PM

Is WPN going down, or just the Betcoin skin?

Will this affect WPN players who play on skins other than Betcoin?

Was betcoin part of the reason for WPN getting dos?

This update should solve all DDoS and connectivity problems experienced by the WPN as well as enable Betcoin to accept the new features of the WPN.

For clarity, players receive VIP points when you use your bitcoin to buy into a satellite tournament based on the fees you pay. You do not receive VIP points on the tournament that you are entered into once you win the seat.

...and, by the way, it is what happens in every FIAT based pokerroom.

So hope noone will complain about it.

The whole iPoker network just to name another one.

Btw Stars and iPoker network are the first two in poker industry for number of players

Thank you for your feedback hopenotlate.  As always, much appreciated.  We will continue to provide an extremely competitive and fun VIP program with more coming to it in the near future.  Than you.

ACR, Stars to name two.  It only makes logical sense considering you are not paying the full fee to get into the tournament that you have satellited into.  I was wondering why Betcoin even posted this because I didn't see anyone ever mention this in the thread and it would seem common sense.  What are your complaints about this twitchyseal?

Why are you guys making these false statements to defend Betcoin?

ACR and Stars (as well ass 888, WSOP.com, Partypoker, FullTilt etc ) pay their rakeback or VIP rewards (whatever you want to call it) based on the the entry fee that they collect.  I actually contacted ACR support to verify recently just to make sure this was a Betcoin only problem - I've played between 500 and 3000 mtts on each of the other sites I listed.

In order to satellite into a $500 tournament, you have to win a $540 ticket. Of course you're going to be credited with paying the $40 fee when you enter.

The only two real differences between a satellite and a regular mtt is -

1 - The payout structure
2- The the prizes are used to enter a bigger tournament

The reason they posted that is because I made a big deal about them not making it public knowledge.  I believe the reason they aren't paying out on tournaments when auto registered through a satty is a technical one and has to do with their systems not reporting the registration process the same as when a player buys in with "cash".

They have simply been working out the difference in what was owed in status and chips one on one - only with  the players who complained multiple times without giving up.

To anyone who isn't sure who to believe here.  Please, get the opinion of an experienced online player that grinds sattys hard

The whole iPoker network just to name another one.

Well I don't know first hand iPokers policy on mtt rakeback.  But I do know that 888 and bodog both have more players than iPoker so I'm pretty sure you are just making this shit up.

Hope you each got some nice little gifts from betcoin for the "feedback" anyway.

This sort of coding fix should only take a matter of hours, at most! I'm not even a professional programmer and I could create a quick fix for them in a matter of minutes if I had access to the source code.

Kagami you are obviously clueless if you think you could solve Betcoins programming issues.

I hope xaio is aware you refuse to pay  your debt to plo8 monster from loan months ago, and that you are scummy person in general that does stuff like this https://www.betcoin.ag/kagami-scams-victory-4k-gtd-his-br-hits-all-time-high-morals-all-time-low and does not offer to front you any of your rakeback.  It could be up to a month they say before its fixed.

rescheduled at least onedentist appointment due to a conflict with freeroll schedule.

Sorry, 5.0.202.160 has been banned.
can I know why ?? is it because I was convering 7 points and repeat the process  Huh
now I can't even open the site and when I open the poker client the same message appears
please check it ASAP , cause I don't have access to anything in your site

That's weird, but I have to ask... why just do 7 at a time and keep repeating? Why not convert all at once?

Major Betcoin.ag Update Changes

...
@Betcoin.ag Instead of spamming this thread about your last update, wanna talk about what you tried to hide in it ?
https://www.betcoin.ag/hidden-vip-scheme-change
24 hours later still no official reaction while you seem to be very active in this thread...

I copy/paste the post in case the thread on your own website is nuked or whatever and your customers have the right now what you did hide from them since the last update.
"I was quite sure that 1 Chip Rake = 6 Status Points.
But today when I went to the VIP page it is stated that "1 Chip Rake = 5 Status Points".
https://www.betcoin.ag/vip

Just thought I had a bad memory on this one but it is confirmed that, at least, when you did announce your new VIP scheme in December '14 1 Chip Rake was equal to 6 Status Points:
https://www.betcoin.ag/betcoinag-announces-new-vip-players-club-bonus

If I did miss an announcement on your part about this change then I do apologize and welcome you to link me to it."

It is confirmed by other players since then that indeed you changed the rules in VIP scheme without telling anyone.
Still waiting for an official reaction.

They also didn't mention that now you earn points twice as fast in casino and sportsbook...

Do you think they are hiding that also?

In full disclosure, I was one of those people. If I'm playing on the site and getting rewarded for it, why would I make a conscious effort not to capitalize on that? It's like going to the grocery store and them giving a coupon that says you can use it up to 5x and saying "eh, I know you're offering the chance, but I'll just pay full price for 4 of them instead."

If you regularly play on the site, then you're not one of those people.

LOL, you don't understand what OP said, getting daily surprise box ON TIME doesn't mean ABUSE, if someone can get more than 1 box within 24 hours, that's abuse, I hope OP will explain that to you.

LOL(?)I don't think there was anyone getting more than one surprise box per 24 hours.  I think there are just many players who have been logging in every day (ON TIME) simply to claim the bonus box.

I'm talking about players that signed up 6 or more months ago, who have claimed their surprise box nearly every day (nearly 200 times), but are still Bronze 2 or 3.  Why would betcoin want to continue giving money away to these people.  They are a casino, not a faucet.

Imagine a grocery store had a coupon for a free item once a day.

After a couple months they realize theyre giving away on average 1000 items a day but only averaging 50 customers a day.

From the businesses point of view, there are over 900 people abusing their promotion.  Changing the promotion so that it would be harder to abuse makes perfect sense.

The surprise is what's in the box -- not the box itself.

The Surprise Box is a random prize that randomly appears at different times. It updates randomly between once per day or once every two to three days max.

Well, yeah. As of 24 hours ago. That's not what it was, and you can't arbitrarily change the meanings anytime you want. Now it's more like a Random Surprise Box.

Before it was more like a predictable box with radom stuff in it that was easily abused.

Now it's more like a surprise box.

All of the daily step satellites to the daily coin are basically double or nothings.

They also had a bracelet event at wsop this year that paid half the field.

Kinda lame imo, but seems popular.

I certainly didn't get any "bonuses" as a result of any of this, though that wasn't the intention to begin with.

They don't give bonuses for making ludicrous accusations in a public forum?

Weird...
