6541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you USE your BTC? on: November 20, 2017, 09:34:53 AM
As everyone knows one of the major problems with Bitcoin economy is hoarding. The idea of this poll is to find out whether the lack of spending in the BTC economy is mainly due to the lack of acceptance of Bitcoin payments, or is it that people can actually buy a good deal of stuff that they need with BTC but choose not to.
Nipe. I am waitinf for its value to be more expensive in the future and also, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are not yet legal to my country as an official currency to be used on daily transactions such as buying things that I want. So the onky way to use it is to convert it first into fiat so it also means that I will sell it and I don't want to. I will wait for more years.
6542  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reaches 8000 USD on: November 20, 2017, 09:04:01 AM
I cant believe this

bitcoin is about to reach 8000 USD

The recovery is too fast. and there is a high chance for 10,000 USD by end of this year.

That's absolutely great. Bitcoin already reached a price of 8000 USD few days ago but its value dropped because of its volatility. But I am still expecting that before this year end, it will be already priced at 8000 USD or even more especially if the increase will continue. But I am not expecting a  value of 10000 USD at the end of this year because the major factor that will make it happen was already cancelled.
6543  Economy / Economics / Re: why bitcoin is so much special than others currency ? on: November 20, 2017, 07:48:11 AM
This is so really hard to say special cause its difficult to explain specialty in short word
Some of them  are given below:

It’s a type of currency which know as peer to peer currency and this permit to send and receive money without help of broker or third party involvement
Every bitcoin holder can review their account information after sending money or receiving money from their account.
After all kind of transection bitcoin recorded sufficient proof of every client and account holder through different facilities.
Buying and selling process is so much easier than other currency
I think above mention quotation is sufficient for proving that how much special the bitcoin is.
it has to do with its market value. Its price in the market is way higher than any other currency and it is continuously increasing as the demand becomes higher. Also it is decentrakized so it is not under or congrolled by any government unlike regular currencies or cash from different countries. Also, it is not only a currency but also a good investment.
6544  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people says gold is better? on: November 20, 2017, 07:26:49 AM
Actually today I watched a video on facebook which is about spending bitcoin and gold in USA,it says it is difficult to spend bitcoin but some places are accepting bitcoins accepting as payment like supermarket, restaurants and some institutions. But no one accepting gold as payment then why still people says gold is better?
Maybe, people are saying that Gold is better than Bitvoin because it has a more stable market value which lessen the risk on investing into it and that's a huge factor on an investment. Also, Gold is supported on different countries while Bitcoin is nit yet legal to most of the countries.
6545  Economy / Speculation / Re: $50,000 Bitcoin In The Next Couple Of Months? on: November 19, 2017, 02:14:56 PM

In his latest video, Mike Maloney ponders the questions 'Could Bitcoin hit $50,000 in the next couple of months?' and also, 'Is Bitcoin in a bubble and could it crash?' You may be surprised to hear how Mike answered these questions and the action he has taken accordingly.

Click here to watch this video:

https://mikemaloneyblog.blogspot.ca/2017/11/50000-bitcoin-in-next-couple-of-months.html

it would really seem to be impossible at this moment because its market value is tied up to 7800$ and is becoming hard to maintain a market value of 8000YSD, so with this, I think there'll be less chances of Bitcoin to have a value as that much within just a couple of MONTHS. I am not still saying that it would be NOT possible, but there'll surely be more years to come.
6546  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is an Asset or Currency? on: November 19, 2017, 01:06:20 PM
I believe that the initial purpose of crypto is to create a digital currency for making transactions quick and easy. However, in reality it has become an asset which everybody is buying and holding. Continuing doing like this will destroy the initial purpose of the coin?

What is your opinion?
The main fucntion of Bitcoin or idea of it is a digital currency but it just happened that the market value of Bitcoin is continuously increasing with a high rate making it a good investment or asset which value is growing as time is passing by as well as the profit. So basically and technically, Bitcoin is in between a currency and an asset.
6547  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin slides by over $1,000 in less than 48 hours on: November 14, 2017, 01:41:47 PM
LONDON (Reuters) - Bitcoin dropped below $7,000 on Friday to trade more than $1,000 down from an all-time high hit on Wednesday, as some traders dumped it for a clone called Bitcoin Cash, sending its value up around a third.
Bitcoin has been on a tear in recent months, with a vertiginous sevenfold increase in value since the start of the year that has led to many warnings the bitcoin market - now worth well over $100 billion - has become a bubble that is about to burst.

It reached a record high of $7,888 around 1800 GMT on Wednesday after a software upgrade planned for next week that could have split the cryptocurrency in a so-called “fork” was suspended.

But it has quickly retreated from that peak, falling to as low as $6,718 around 1330 GMT on Friday. It later recovered a touch to trade around $6,880 by 1645 GMT, but that was still down almost 4 percent on the day.
It is approximately 6300$ at this moment. But the thing here is that we should hold or if possible, invest more into Bitcoin to take advantage of the backdrop on its value. It is indeed unfortunate to see the market price of Bitcoin falling, quickly. But as what usually happenes, a week after dumps, its value will again climb its way up.
6548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you ever convince or encourage someone to invest in Bitcoin? on: November 14, 2017, 12:56:25 PM
Bitcoin has been awesome and will always be awesome. We, who have been involved in Bitcoin since the very early days understand this very well. However, for the laymen, for the people who don't really understand the technical aspects of Bitcoin or those who only watch the mainstream media are skeptic about Bitcoin. Since, all they hear in the News is how Bitcoin can be used for illegal activities and how it offers complete anonymity (common misconception) to people to do what they need on Internet.

Have you ever convinced or encouraged anyone to invest in Bitcoin and did you have success? Of course, since we know that we are giving a good advice, so we would usually advice our own family members or friends about this.

In the past few months, I encouraged some of my friends to invest in Bitcoin. They had a lot of questions about it from technical perspective and I helped them understand. They invested in Bitcoin and are very happy with the returns. And now this information propagates and more people will get involved in Bitcoin.

In my humble opinion, as a Bitcoin enthusiast, we can help understand people the positive aspects of Bitcoin. The price of Bitcoin is still in the very initial stages and those of us who really understand what Bitcoin offers, know that Bitcoin Price is only 1/10th of what it's worth right now.

What are the most common responses you get from laymen about investing in Bitcoin?

Some popular ones I receive are:

1. "Oh, it's already too expensive, I cannot afford to buy it."
2. "The governments don't regulate it, why should I invest in it?"
3. "It's an illegal currency and only cyber criminals use it."
4. "What backs up Bitcoin? For example US Dollar is backed by Trust (all time favorite response Cheesy), but what backs up Bitcoin?"
5. "The market is way too volatile to invest."
6. "You can't really use Bitcoin as a currency."
I already did to my friends and those responses are also, what I've mostly heard. But one of them chose to invwst and got 3ncouraged towards Bitcoin. At first he onlu invested a small amount just to try or test whether investing will tield to profit or not. As the days are passing by and he is seeing the progress, he decided to invest more.
6549  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy BTC at 6500 or wait to go lower? on: November 14, 2017, 12:24:50 PM
Should I buy BTC on 6500, or wait to possibly go even lower?
You may do so, but the question is how low will satisfy you to invest in Bitcoin? The thing here is that Bitcoin's value will eventually increase and investors no need to worry about its price that is now falling. Whether an investor will choose to buy on 6500$, lower or higher,  it will still yeild to profit in the future. So invets now and HOLD
6550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what price are you going to start buying bitcoin again? on: November 14, 2017, 08:02:30 AM
I had a limit order in at $5520 but I've just taken it off because the price is falling so quickly.   I want to increase my stash of BTC but want to be able to buy as much as possible.

If it goes through $5000 I think it could well go to 4300
i don't think that it will go down to 5000$. Bitcoin's value is now again, climbing its way up. So you better invest now to make use and benefit from the downfall. I will invest wether its value is 7000$ or higher because I believe that as time passes by, it will continuously increase and be more expenaive. But ofcourse, it will be an advantage if you will be able to buy at a low price.
6551  Economy / Economics / Re: Will there ever be a Bitcoin Bank on: November 14, 2017, 07:12:11 AM
Does anyone on here think that there is ever going to be Bitcoin Bank, be it something which is centralized or something which isn't really doesn't matter. But I'd think of this as a company, or a union (like one of those credit union banks) where loans would be given out to people with trust, money is held, and so on and so forth.

I know many think that they can escape banks, but they are insanely helpful and trustworthy for many everyday people who we'd want to join into the BTC community.
I highly doubt that there'll be a Bitcoin bank since banks are controlled by different governments and Bitcoin is not since it is decentralized. But I think there's no need to have Bitcoin banks because there are e-wallets where a user may store his/her e-cash including Bitcoin. But who knows what tomorrow could bring. Maybe someday there'll be.
6552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 14, 2017, 06:40:29 AM
October 29, 2017 Bitcoin price ranges from $6,000 - $6,100 and today, bitcoin price is now $7,000. Are you surprise?

I think, if only those people who planning to invest in bitcoin manage to notice this sudden increase. I think there is a high chance that they will start investing.

Just thinking on how big it increased within this year, I am absolutely surprised. From a value of approximately 2500$ earlier this year if i'm not mistaken, it already reached the 7000-dollar mark this year and it just happened that its value fell recently. But that's already something to look forward with in the future. Surely, it will be more expensive on the following years.
6553  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10.000 = 1BTC on New Year? on: November 14, 2017, 05:55:54 AM
What will be a bitcoin rate by new year?
Based on the situation right now, I think it won't be able to reach a market value of 10000$ by december since the hardfork will mo longer happen this month and also with the fact that Bitcoin is now priced at 6300$. So increasing 4000$ on its price would seem to be impossible within just a month and half of period.
6554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable on: November 14, 2017, 05:04:25 AM
bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable.

currency should be more stable.

you may reply me. currency is not stable also but you should think

USD currency price is up and down 1-2% in 1 month.

bitcoin price is up and down 20% in 1 month.

what will people think if they just change USD to bitcoin then their money down 10% in 10 minutes?

bitcoin can become stock but cannot become currency
This is absolutely true and I can't agree with you more. That's because Bitcoin is volatole in nature since its market value is only dependent with its market demand. But in the first place, i doubt that it is a goal of Bitcoin to replace other currencies. So maybe even if in the future it will be more stable, regular currencies will still exist since it played a huge role for decades.
6555  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you should Buy bitcoin now on: November 14, 2017, 04:40:09 AM
So much so that 15% of banks world wide expect to widely implement blockchain, which is a ledger of transactions updated in real time by various institutions, by next year, according to the report which surveyed 200 global banks.

These banks, mostly medium to large-sized institutions, are focusing their blockchain technology on three areas: consumer lending, retail payments, and reference data, which refers to the real-time information sharing of transactions across business divisions and institutions.

In four years, IBM says that 66% percent of banks expect to have blockchain in commercial production and at scale.

in my opinion, it is advantageous if you will buy Bitcoin now because its market value is lower than its price recently so there's a chance that it will eventually increase so profit will be assured that will surely benefit its investors and users. In the future it is expected to be more expensive so having a Bitcoin now will be an advantage.
6556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to convert ETH to BTC? on: November 14, 2017, 04:10:58 AM
How to convert ETH to BTC?

I am totally new to the crypto and have no idea about how to convert ETH to BTC.
Help me guys,I want to buy bitcoins with my ethereum so give suggestions.

Simply convert  your Etherium into fiat or regular currency first then use the money to buy Bitcoin. There are also exchangers which allows a user to convert etherium to bitcoin and vice versa. You won't get the trading by just reading ither people's opinions. You may read further about it on his forum or in Google.
6557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most common uses of Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2017, 04:05:23 AM
I am a newbie in Bitcoin Forum.I know some of the most important uses of Bitcoin. They are:
1.You can buy a flight ticket.
2.You can rent a hotel room.
3.you can buy pizza and other food related goods.
4.You can use it as a investment vehicle because bitcoin will continue to grow in value.

I want to know other important uses of it.

The things that you've mentioned are the functions of Bitcoin as a currency and are only applicable on countries where it is already legal. So for those people who are living on countries where it is not, they can use it as an asset or investment since its market value is continuously growing, and they can earn huge profit by investing into it.

6559  Economy / Economics / Re: What is a good amount of BTC to Buy? on: November 09, 2017, 11:50:51 AM
What is a good amount of Bitcoin to buy for first time buyers new to the crypto market? What kind of return can you expect to see within a week?
If you will buy huge amount of Bitcoin, for sure, your profit will also be big. So that simply explain it. There's no inimum amount or right amount to invest on anything or in Bitcoin. If you will only invest a small amount of money, don't expect for big returns or profit. So it is more suggested that you should buy a bigger amount for bigger profit in the future.
6560  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell your bitcoin NOW. November 8, 2017 on: November 09, 2017, 09:57:10 AM
I fruitful advise to all,

You need to sell your bitcoins now. This is because the btc is about to correct its price.

Dont wait for 8000 usd price btc will not reach that price yet.

After price correction, buy btc again.

BTC Price at coinmarketcap = 7,126.02 USD / BTC

This is only an advise not a recommendation, the decision is up to you. Good luck  Wink
I think it would be a better idea to hold Bitcoin more and invest to it at this moment. Indeed, there'll be a hardfork in this month and it might be the biggest factor for the value of bitcoin to be more expensive especially if it will be as successful as the recent one and if the outcome will be the same. But i aldo thank you for your kind advice. i will still hold my Bitcoin and see what will happen after the fork.
