6541  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC Price Pumps and Forks on: October 13, 2017, 09:02:46 PM
As the price of BTC is increasing on an upward trend and falls only by few bucks, short-term Alternative Coin traders are crying blood. I believe it is due to the upcoming fork. How many more forks are we expecting in the future? It seems that through forks they are pumping the price of btc and once the price becomes stagnant they will start another fork.

The "they" is who I am still trying who it could be but its possible its you and  I. The increase in price in my own opinion, cannot still be unconnected to the upcoming fork which is very simple. After the previous fork, we all learnt that above all, bitcoin still survives which means I need to be more prepared for the upcoming fork by ensuring that I have enough bitcoin saved up before that day in other to get the equivalent after the fork after that turn it into more bitcoin which is more money for me just by holding.

This is applicable to a lot of people across the globe and that makes the supply of bitcoin limited to the demand for it. Applying the basis terms of economics, the price is bound to spike. After the fork, I gain what I want, then we can sell, that explains why the price will drop slightly after that.
We cant say that it is unconnected on bitcoin itself because i do believe this fork things do really trigger or influence on its development and also to its price. I do have the same point too which i do see everytime theres a fork we do reach up new ATH and now we did already witness 1x fork and now theres another 2 possible upcoming forks which we do see the effects on bitcoins price in breaking up its previous ath and now we are now even reaching 6k which i do presume that it has really an influence on the price and talking on how many possible forks to happen then no one can tell you out.
6542  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin keep rising past $5,200? on: October 13, 2017, 04:17:16 PM
Truly it'll continue ascending till $6000 until the following 3 days. It'll take a little plunge after $6000 in light of the fact that all the big cheeses will offer it and after that it'll continue ascending till the November hard fork similarly. I'm anticipating $10000 before the current year's over. By November end near $7800– 8000. Simply clutch them
$6000 would be somehow realistic to reach up this price on this year and more than on that is not reachable for sure.$10000 is too far away to consider maybe on $6500 but more than on that for this year would be too much but well we cant still be sure because if this kind of price rally would continue would really able to reach new ATH but im really sure $10k is not possible on this year.If the accumulation has been done already because of the fork hype then for sure price will correct again and going back on those sub 5k price just like in past weeks.
6543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid ICO scam on: October 12, 2017, 08:46:36 PM
Well i think if there is huge hype around the token/coin that they are promoting and if you make sure it is already listed/going to be listed at exchanges plus you get a good size bonus for buying it than you can't really go wrong. If there is demand for the token, regardless of whether the ICO is a good idea or not than the token/coin has value. That's the things i look for in them.
I dont usually put my eyes on these coins specially for long term because most coins which are being hyped too much do end up good. Most of these coins do easily being dumped after being hyped up.I do rather choose up those coins which do really have a strong support either on both community and an active developer and the project with real world usage or being beneficial to people. Avoiding ICO scam is ones responsibility which we should really research up things.I cant pinpoint a list but im sure i has being mentioned a lot of time on how to avoid an ICO scam.
6544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt Coin Pumps on: October 12, 2017, 07:20:24 PM
Hi - where is the most reliable information on forthcoming Alt-coins pumps?

Thanks

Tel

Move this thread to altcoin speculation bro. If you expect to which coin grows in altcoins or to know about bumping ICO means check there. There are many threads created for these mind of discussion.
Now neo, tenx, BCH and eth grows faster in altcoin chart

This is right, this kind of topic doesnt really belong on this marketplace but rather would be appropriate to be posted on Speculation (altcoins). Back into the topic theres no reliable information about altcoin pumps but yet there are groups of people do have this kind of informations but not totally reliable and in worst cases you would end up on losing money if you would tend to trust them too much regarding on your trading steps.
You wont even know that you are just being used to buy the coin and they do decide to dump. Then whats the result? You would surely lose up money.
6545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and ICO's on: October 12, 2017, 06:38:48 PM
With the recent forks coming soon, we are starting to see a huge appreciation of BTC...obv everyone is buyng now
My question is...wont this affect ICO's?
A lot of them recieve btc investments and they could hit they hard cap 20-25% earlier due to the increase of BTC price. Wont this force them to close the ICO, and raise a lot less than eventually planned...if we compare to dollar price.
It does really affects ICO but they dont really bother at all because if the cap would be reach on the sudden price increase on bitcoin then they would really still consider it and for sure those ICO owners would really be wary on the risk and possible of sudden price decrease on bitcoin specially on this upcoming event but not all ico do recieve bitcoin but there are still some alts but seeing on the ratio most are on BTC form.Ive seen on the some ICO theres really a bump on the cap since bitcoin did rise.
6546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Etherdelta is a good choice? on: October 11, 2017, 06:53:42 PM
Etherdelta is only suitable for people who want to invest in ICOs because all ICO projects using the Ethereum platform are listed here. I think Etherdelta is very easy to use, but you have to be careful because the market has a lot of security flaws

What are the security flaws ? I think there aren't many, mainly because it's a decentralised exchange.
Theres no security flaw on using Etherdelta exchange since it is really decentralized the flaw on here is when you disclose your privatekeys for sure those coins of yours would really be at risk on getting stolen by someone.Unlike on other exchange that you would need to sign up and make deposits into your coins and Etherdelta do works on different way since its decentralized.I do like the exchange but having a heavy interface and high fees will really give me second thoughts.

There are some points they should develop that is about account security, if the user only has a private key that can not be changed then the possibility to be stolen is very large. this is very dangerous for people affected by phishing links.

second development is a gas arrangement that is not understood by everyone, this is a problem because people who do not like it will leave without wanting to learn more

The third is transactions that often delay up to more than 24 hours, this is a big problem if there is congestion due to large volume increases in the same time (Bottle neck)
Back in the past when i was still newbie on using Etherdelta exchange site which on setting the gas i have mistakenly adjust it too high which it did result on wasting up too much eth on the account on every transactions. It did really confirm the transaction fast not instant as expected knowing the network is always congested which same as you said some transactions are really on delay because on the volume. If you are really new on exchange site like delta you would really have a hard time on understanding it for the very first time but well they do have their help page.

6548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Right time to buy altcoin on: October 11, 2017, 04:50:26 PM
As i seen there is lots of altcoin being dumped for low value because of bitcoin fork happening on oct 25 (still not confirmed) so everyone selling altcoins and converting to bitcoin and keeping it in private key holding wallet hope of getting Bitcoingold (Not confirmed by any source ) . So people may be fooled in the name of bitcoingold free coin so proper strtegist right time to buy some good altcoins.
Its not actually fooled because its peoples decision to sell off their stashes to buy or store up more bitcoin but yet indeed the best time to buy bargain prices of altcoins.People would definitely do such thing.Who do people wont really love free coins? If we do try to see on what happened on BCH it becomes valuable and then its a good amount of free money.Decisions would really vary depending on traders knowledge because some people for sure are just going along with the flow only not knowing on the possible opportunities on buying cheaper coins.
6549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any App that generates bitcoin on: October 11, 2017, 02:17:56 PM
Mostly apps you'll find for mobile devices are faucets, some are paying, some aren't. Mining isn't really profitable from a phone or tablet, will cost you more energy than what you'll earn.

I use an application called grabpoin that is able to provide me free Bitcoin without the need for bother because I just download the application and do the task then bitcoin free as much as 0.01 BTC will go to my bitcoin wallet address

0.01 btc a day? Really? Already been paid from this application?
Sounds amazing right? But i do assume he do make an investment on a cloud mining because nothing on this world which an app would generate you bitcoin unless if you do make use on asic miners on mining it then it would be possible but on apps either on launching it on a pc or mobile phone then its not possible and for those people who do claim that it does work then its a total fraud or just simple a cloud mining app or something.
6550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: October 09, 2017, 09:41:57 PM
hello everyone.
i want to know what do you think about gambling bitcoin.. Does Beneficial or more losses?
Share your story here guys!  Grin Grin Grin

Well it is not wrong but only for the right reasons. First, you need to have a mindset that there's a big chance that you will lose. If it's easy money and you really didn't work hard for it, especially if it was given to you, then by all means gamble it! It's only wrong if it's already hurting your daily budget and your life. Gambling is okay, but you need to set your limits.
Limitations would really be always advisable when it comes to gambling because it would really affect lots of things once addiction hits you up.It will mainly affect you financial status which would compromise the funds which are already being budget on your daily living expenses which is already a bad thing. It would comes to a point on where gambling would be a mistake if you let yourself get addicted to it but if you can still able to control yourself and just play for the sake of entertainment without risking too much money then it should be fine.
6551  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Should I start own exchange website? on: October 09, 2017, 09:18:23 PM
I am thinking to start own exchange website like (coinexchange.io) , yes I want to build small exchange.
But before start I want to know something , hope I will get my answer.
Building exchange is profitable?
How much investment it's need?
Where I can promote it?
How I can avoid or put low transaction cost?
How much time I need per day behind this project?

If you want to share any suggestions then most welcome.
There is high competition in this area already, so I think it is not going to be so easy to realize.
I suppose other commentators won't suggest you something concrete, unfortunately not I. But I get an idea - you can create an ICO (if only you are not from China) to come true all of your ideas about the exchanger Wink
Creating an ICO without having a any ideas on what you are going to build is useless unless if you build up reputable devs into your team which would somehow assure that the funding would be success but still it would depend on the interest of the community. Starting your own exchange site would really be hard knowing that this thing do really require huge fund and a good team to develop a unique, secured exchanger. If you do have already an idea on what you are going to then you should proceed as long you do know on what you are doing.
6552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If bitcoin can be used in gambling. Is it possible to use it casino? on: October 09, 2017, 08:54:16 PM
I have no idea if casino will ever accept bitcoin as exchange for chips that is used in gambling.
If you do talk on online casino then there are lots of sites that do accept bitcoin as the main coin to be used on playing their games but talking on physical casinos i dont have awareness if there is already some establishments do accept bitcoin to by chips physically and would able to play just like on tradition fiat exchanges. If this thing would be available already then im sure there are lots of bitcoin gamblers would really go into this casino and would use up their bitcoin to exchange on chips and can physically play casino games.
6553  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Which wallet is best on: October 09, 2017, 08:27:45 PM
Which bitcoin wallet is best for transaction.

Anyone can tell me which wallet take low fee secure & send bitcoin as fast as possible
Depending on your locality and on the wallets which are on the poll do have their own advantage coinbase=us citizens, coins.ph= philippines citizens, blockchain= global. If you do live on philippines then coins.ph would be the best wallet for you since you can easily convert or buy bitcoin in a matter of clicks which you cant able to make on some wallets and also when it comes on cash out it can directly give you an option to put directly on bank or money remittances. For coinbase i dont have much idea since im not a US citizen.
6554  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How difficult is it to sell your position? on: October 09, 2017, 08:02:17 PM
HI guys,

I see a lot of us buying/investing in a lot of crypto currencies but my question is how to cash out of them? Is it as easy as buying them? Or are they limits?

Thanks
That is why theres an exchangers that do exist on the market which is the place you can buy bitcoins or any other coins which been offered by the use of your local fiat either loading up with you credit/debit card.If you dont like to disclose your card details you would still able to buy which you can actually made on localbitcoin which you can make peer 2 peer transactions among other users but be sure not to engage on scammers knowing that there are lots of criminal minds when it comes to money. If you do find out on the things i do mention on here you would really say that this thing are just basics.
6555  Economy / Exchanges / Re: best platform bittrex poloniex yobit on: October 09, 2017, 07:41:15 PM
bittrex:
better interface (nice charts and faster to load), better support (no the best though), decent API (not the best), trustable, has high liquidity, high fees (0.25%) and their bitcoin withdrawal fees are also high at 0.001BTC

poloniex
I don't like their interface and it seems slow, bad support, very good API, trustable, has high liquidity, low fees (0.2% and less if you are trading a lot). and their bitcoin withdrawal fees are low.

yobit
worst interface which is slow too, horrible support! (you don't even get any answers sometimes, not trusted at all (they run a shady business and already have multiple scam accusations open against them), low liquidity, medium fees (0.2%) bitcoin withdrawal fees are high too 0.0015BTC
their deposit and withdrawals are mostly dead too, you can only do it for a handful of altcoins despite them having hundreds of them listed.
This post explain it all on what i do observe too between this 3 exchanges.I do really love the UI of bittrex which it is really just lite when you tried to open it wont really take too long compared on the two.Support isnt on the best but still better among the two. Poloniex is once the most reputable and famous exchange but it credibility and popularity decreased is when they are already facing lots of issues until into these days and lastly on yobit there are lots of cheap coins out there but most of them are shitcoins which already being dumped forever and they do have the worst support ever in the history of exchanges.
6556  Economy / Speculation / Re: A great day for Bitcoin on: October 09, 2017, 07:17:53 PM
There are lots of people  honestly are afraid about bitcoin if the price is going to crash back again since they already experience the crash past months ago i think they will hardly to think to invest and maybe this time it is bull  trap again and they will regret if they bought bitcoin for high price and sell them for small price. Now the price is actually increased today due to nearly pork and getting a free bitcoin gold after the fork and sell them to get a profit.. So those people who late will be regret.. but its still not late to buy bitcoin since 5k and 10k  still not hit..
As you said many get the fear by seeing the price constant at the value of 4300$.But do you check the today price of bitcoin, it's around the value of 4700$.It crossed Many peak now.Even it crossed a month back peak of 4600$.So to is the greatest day for bitcoin. It is now reached new peak cheers. Smiley
It is already on $4800 price as of now on which it can still possible to reach out 5k in no time if the rally would continue to its price which is indeed a great day for bitcoin and for those who go short in bitcoin trade specially when they bought up on cheap price like 4100-4300 then it is indeed an easy $400 usd profits in no time. This is really the beauty when you are trading up on bitcoins price if theres a certain news or events would happen because we can already presume that there would something to happen and now the price have risen but im sure later on it would correct again.
6557  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Liqui - withdrawals "out of gas" + zero help from the support (FUNDS MISSING) on: October 09, 2017, 05:41:46 PM
Did any of you guys get your money back yet? I dont understand how they have the time to tweet about bullshit but no time to give back the thousands that they are stealing. I am in talks with a couple lawyers I dont care how much I need to spend Im gonna chase them down on principle

Keep us updated please. I don't think anyone who had the out of gas error received the funds back. This is looking like fraud more and more each day the longer they keep silent. I hope actions can be taken on them really soon.

One guy in a slack group told me he had out of gas with 20 ETH and made a ticket, he never got replied but received the ETH to the destination wallet in about 24 hours. So there’s hope I guess. Not looking good for us though so far.
This is one of the issues arising on the site but some other issues have been resolved without any further notice. Have you tried out to make some words on their official thread.? This is their thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1557900.920 and try to pm https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=842080 which it is somehow hard because last online was still on september but its better to pm this guy and let your issues be known.
6558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is eBTC a scam? on: October 09, 2017, 05:16:39 PM
I dont think eBTC is scam.
Satoshi21 selected a small core team from their new community to work alongside to prepare eBTC.
The project will make steady progress.

What project? What are they planning to do?
I'm sure token symbol and name create misunderstandings as if eBTC is relative to Bitcoin, but
they planning to hybridize the best of Bitcoin into ERC-20 Token.
Its a newly introduced token not being a hard fork.

Theres not way it would be hybridize since they do have different chains which means colliding both things is impossible.Actually the value is just been gained since the name of bitcoin was involved and checking on their devs roadmap which they do compare it to bitcoin which this coin called etherium-bitcoin.Seriously? This is just a simple another coin just been putting up some brands claiming that it would much better experience compared on bitcoin itself which is really a bullshit thing which it is really just an obvious thing that this is just really been hyped up.
6559  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Problem with Hashnest wallet on: October 09, 2017, 04:50:13 PM
Thank you my friends. I am a bit calm now. Let's fingercross together and see what is going to be tomorrow. I really need those money, it's two weekly payments which I wanted to spend for some big poker tournament this weekend. But maybe it is even better that those money stayed untouched  Cheesy
Dont panic brother as given above on the link which stated due to chinese holiday which would really cause delays.Since you are just using those funds on poker tournament then this might be sign that you should not play on that tournament. Grin. People do easily panic when this cloud mining start or tends not to pay out their users which is normal but thinking off that you should always ready for the risk. For now the best thing  to do is relax and dont mind on that funds since it would really be credited soon if they wont turn out to be scam.haha
6560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uber & Lyft to accept Bitcoin on: October 09, 2017, 04:26:02 PM
Heard of Uber, but never heard of Lyft.

I don't know.  You'd have to be able to solve the confirmation time problem.  You don't want
to be sitting in someone's car waiting forever.  You know how long it takes sometimes to get
that first confirmation.

Honestly, I'd rather pay for a ride with cash.  It's more anonymous and way faster than
bitcoin.  So no, I wouldn't bother with a useless online petition.  Leave it be.
You do have a point but when speaking on confirmation time you wont really need to wait since once the bitcoins have been trasnfered already it cant be reversed which means you can directly leave the cab once you have paid but it would really be a senseless thing if we do try to look on the fee this will surely hurt you up than on paying up on your local fiat money since its fixed and you wont really bother on other fee. That is why this thing is somehow impossible thing to happen or way they would able to accept such thing on bitcoin.Id rather prefer to stay on the traditional ways.
