If I understood the system correctly, it means theymos is encouraging all of us to create our custom trust list.
I think he do not want to keep fix DT1 and DT2.

I think he might like to rotate the DT1 with this criteria. If DT1 will be rotated then DT2 will be automatically rotated.
#3
I will periodically (maybe every month) be reconstructing the default trust list to include everyone who matches these criteria:
 - If rank was determined solely using earned merit, then you must be of at least Member rank.
 - You must have been online sometime within the last 3 days.
 - Your trust list must include at least 10 users, not including ~distrust entries.
 - You must not be banned or manually blacklisted from selection.
 - You must have posted sometime within the last 30 days.
 - You must have at least 10 people directly trusting you each with an earned merit of at least 10, not including merit you yourself sent.
 - You must have at least 1 person directly trusting you with an earned merit of at least 100, not including merit you yourself sent.

Correct me If I am wrong.

Yes,he don't want to stick with only some members since people calling them as gang so he (theymos) really wanted to introduce decentralization into the bitcointalk forum as well.
6562  Other / Meta / Re: The Hottest Topics Made On 2019 on: January 10, 2019, 10:12:49 AM

Everybody knows for now making Lauda as DT1 member is the more hottest topic than the new trust system changes.

Hey wait this is just the beginning of the drama, more yet to come in this 2019.
6563  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: January 10, 2019, 08:33:22 AM
ChiBitCTy already banned for plagiarism in April 2018 but he was in DT2 list since new trust system implemented,so DT1 members exclude him from your trust list, also please go through your trust list for similar cases if any.
There's nothing wrong with his sent ratings (a ban isn't that relevant) though. Who exactly added him?
BitcoinPenny have ChiBitCTy in his trust list,I am not sure a banned member is eligible to be a DT member or not. Roll Eyes

it's surprising that  some people are now asking you to remove the tag, but never did before "Anduck" became a DT member, so you are right when you tag a non-DT member but not so right when you tag a DT member?

I am afraid this new update will fail big time as some DT members will be afraid to tag other DT members or "potentially" coming DT members just to save themselves from being removed from DT.

this is not related to you "Vod" and "Anduck" it just a general assumption of a potential shitty scenario where some DT members might look the other way only to stay on DT.

As far as I know the DT1 list also may get refreshed every month so if some of the DT member is abusing the trust system can be excluded by the others.

Hoping that no misuse of DT power will happen anymore.
6566  Other / Meta / Re: Ban Account on: January 09, 2019, 09:04:50 PM
You permanent ban is the result of plagiarism, Did you made any plagiarism on your posts?
😂 are you expecting a yes answer?

Your account Immor108 was autoban on 1/8/2019 at 9:12:14 PM as seen on Meta Log on your BPIP page.

Hint: mostly when accounts gets autobanned it's as a result of the simultaneous abnormal activities notice on the account like change of password, email, woke up, etc. If you did those then that was the reason for Autoban but if you didn't then kindly wait for a more direct answer for the autoban because you'll get one.

I don't think no one got banned in this forum for their abnormal activities of woke up after long time and email and password changes. The word autoban implies the moderator banned some user permanently for plagiarism or other obvious reasons.

Looks like OgNasty is not a part of current DT system, anyone feels he deserved to be in the list again.

BTW Meta and Reputation section will go on fire for some days again. Cheesy

He was better than many, odd his exclusion returned Lauda to DT.

Any explanation on this Theymos?

or are you also on silent mode like lauda?

 Cool
Looks like theymos already explained on the above post, which solely depends on the trust and distrust of the DT1 level member, unfortunately OgNasty  got 1 distrust so excluded but in the next month he may be included.Needs time to settle down tho.

6570  Other / Meta / Re: Banned. Why? on: January 09, 2019, 02:15:53 PM
Is it necessary this forum have an alarm to prevent copy/paste? Grin
We have punishment which is called permanent ban,if someone don't read the rules of forum before posting then they are never allowed to make a post here as per bitcointalk ethics. Cheesy
6571  Other / Meta / Re: Russian staff are moderating scams against the rules on: January 09, 2019, 01:56:37 PM
That means the discussion here is resolved since it wasn't the mod at all but a jr member wanting to delete the thread... Unless his intention was to move it to scam accusations but didn't know where it was.

It's a Russian thread so it doesn't belong in Scam Accusations.

Good to see it restored. Still a proper Russian scam board would be nice too. Now this thread is buried in a bounty (?) board and locked so if someone wants to add to the scam accusation there aren't any good options.
Russian board has more number of topics and posts after the main section so why we don't have proper child board for scam accusation.Sending PM to theymos about adding a child board on that section will help?
6572  Other / Meta / Re: Merit source application on: January 09, 2019, 09:37:10 AM
Alone055

Your comment would have been valid if we were talking about English language.

Probably you didn't notice that the posts I am presenting are written in Greek and as I can guess Theymos doesn't speak Greek...

Thanks anyways
Still you need to follow the method what theymos asked to be apply as a merit source, maybe he can appoint you as merit source after discussing with the staff member who can understand greek.

Just quote all the ten posts and explain why you want to merit those 10 posts if you can. Smiley
6573  Other / Meta / Re: ban account in Russian local on: January 09, 2019, 09:13:47 AM
Most of the time reason for banning an account will be plagiarism, did you made any plagiarism?

If you are banned

Your ban message may have an email address which you can email. If not, then appeals are unlikely to be accepted.
You can appeal if your ban message have any email or it will be forever.
6574  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is a new ATH for BTC even posible? on: January 09, 2019, 06:09:56 AM
Do you think a new ATH for BTC is even possible?

With all those new and shiny Projects, which outperform BTC in every aspect, I think it could be quite hard, but I am not sure, so I created this poll  Wink

Please vote and share your opinion  Smiley
Yes,it will even after we have so many projects which will be useful. There are lot of crypto currencies with ICOs but bitcoin having more than 50% dominance which clearly says that bitcoin is capable of outperfom all the other projects.
6575  Other / Meta / Re: Want to post link of an article? on: January 08, 2019, 04:19:51 PM
Yes,if not a referral link. Wink

Make sure you didn't copied the content of the article while pasting in this forum or else you will get permaban.
6576  Other / Meta / Re: why my account was blocked ? on: January 08, 2019, 04:15:31 PM
Reporting him is more than enough. Necrobumping this thread will not alert the mods any faster (or even at all, if they don't read it) than a report would, and simply contributes to more spam.
I felt mods are much active in Meta so letting them know will do much faster action than reporting (but it already reported by other members too).Maybe mods missed to handle this report for too long because still OP is free to use his one of his account even after got perma ban.
6577  Other / Meta / Re: why my account was blocked ? on: January 08, 2019, 02:14:34 PM
Why not yet banned for ban evasion.Hurry up mods you need to be much quicker to ban all these forum abusers.

Bumping after seeing this thread : Anyone think saulzaents is a bought/hacked account? Looking for sleuths.
6578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market is making very few projects list their token on exchange on: January 08, 2019, 09:10:17 AM
I participated in the cryptassist ICO a few months ago, and I chose this out of the many projects I could have done the ICO, but still no listing.
This is because of the market, but I strongly believe that if the project is good enough, the team should not be scared of listing

It is not easy to list of the big exchanges since they will ask for large amount in bitcoin,I am not sure what is that project about but if they have enough funds for doing it then they will did it already so it means they didn't raised enough funds for doing it.
6579  Other / Meta / Re: [Re:] Newbie avatar. on: January 08, 2019, 05:16:08 AM

6580  Other / Meta / Re: I seem to be finding some reasonable posts. on: January 07, 2019, 11:50:49 PM
I wish we could get away from the obsession with merits. Most of the highly merited posts here are of little interest to me. I think the attitude, knowledge and contact of a poster is far more important than his merit awards. I don't understand why some posts are given merit, and I suspect that many don't understand some of my awards.

I don't really care if a poster wears socks with sandals, or can't use his little finger to control chopsticks. I do find it annoying if he wears his merits like a bling necklace.
There are two kind of merit makers here,
1.Few pwoplw making really useful posts inwhat they are better at.
2.Some people used to make posts for the sake of getting merits, which maybe worthy to merit but I am not sure this is the intention of merit system being introduced

Merits needs to be awarded when its needed,no matter of who is that poster. Smiley
