It would certainly affect bitcoin's market however it is so unsusual. It could happen if there are such negative news regarding bitcoin but as of now, there is no news like that since bitcoin has a good reputation. It will really affect bitcoin, especially the bitcoin price, it will either increase or decrease, you said selling it, means someone will buy it, and eventually, bitcoin users nowadays are very eager to buy bitcoin, so when there will be a huge dump, they will buy bitcoin and not also sell it, they will buy and buy more and wait for the bitcoin price to go up and have some profit from it. I agree that if people start selling and the price drops, that just brings in buyers. There's no way the price will stay down.
