661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you expecting after 1st-Aug? on: August 01, 2017, 06:32:06 AM
the price now is very tempting ,I think peole are waiting for big chance to take their profit. Of course we all expecting that the price will climb to around $3k or more. And right now, ofcourse there's a plenty of people have their selling net, at a certain price. everyone are waiting a rocket to launch.
662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today is the last day panic. on: July 31, 2017, 12:57:47 PM
Today is the last day panic. I buckled the seatbelt and put a cigarette out. Are you ready for takeoff? Tomorrow I expect that bitcoin will start. The goal of 3000-3500 dollars. Next week we will see the first results.

Fasten your seatbelt, we'll takeoff soon to the moon. I think It can reach $4k this year. But before that , maybe we'll see a little discount (drop). That would be the chance to buy more bitcoin. Right now, jusy keep calm, and trust bitcoin.
663  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC upto 5000$!! on: July 30, 2017, 01:31:16 PM
$5000 by December? I'd love to see that prediction be correct but I think it's a bit ambitious. I see $3500 as a realistic target by the end of the year, maybe.

I agree with this member, maybe $5k on this year its a bit ambitious. it's true we already seen the btc price this year that climb from around $1k to $2k and stable around $2500-$2600k, but with this situation, maybe $5k is too high. My prediction on this year is upto $4k and not more. Everything can happen, U could be right, but we have we own reason to predict.
664  Economy / Speculation / Re: Taking a loan to buy bitcoin on: July 30, 2017, 01:11:08 PM
I'm thinking of getting a loan to buy more bitcoin, as I'm guessing we'll reach $10K in a few months it can be a good deal to lend at a bank against 5% anual rate

Did anyone do this before? Would like some experience advice

even if you want to, its not that easy to get a loan in a bank, what can u offer for bank as a guarantee they give you a loan? As I know the bank will Do an analysis of your finances, as well as any assets you have, after that all in the calculation, then the bank decide you are worth the loan or not. In addition, the world of cryptocc is very risky, and make loan at the bank is also at risk we will lose asset assets if we can not afford the monthly repayments. Think 100x to do it.
665  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: July 30, 2017, 11:06:09 AM
Today, people say, only farts are not paid. All need money. That is, no money then have nothing. But do you think our purpose is to live and be created into this world? What exactly are we looking for. Many people have financial advantages but eventually end up suicide. It signifies that wealth does not guarantee happiness. So my opinion, what we really need is happiness, happiness can we get with enough money and time with people we love always there.
666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hard Fork in November on: July 30, 2017, 09:42:20 AM
have you seen this ? https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/countdown-segwit-these-are-dates-keep-eye/
As U can see, at the segwit timeline, therese a segwit2x hardfork, No one wrong to be concern, at this moment is a risky time to take a profit. You can choosen to lose potential to get huge profits, or you can wait the price to recover for a few week, month, or even a few year because the drop. just prepare for anything.
667  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price directly before the fork on: July 30, 2017, 09:34:39 AM
are the most people do the first option? I dont really understand. because as I know,  btc price will go up because the activation of segwit. Maybe like the ltc, after the segwit activation, the price is climb so high. So I think the btc price will do the same.
668  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next week, is that the last chance? on: July 29, 2017, 05:50:32 AM
It is too dangerous to try to make profit from this situation, even after the August we still to be very careful to do trading because at that time the situation still not very stable and I suggest to just hold and see how will it work, trading alt coin is also not a good option the price is very fluctuate and tend to go down
Indeed, in such situations it is very risky to earn profits, those who retain the risk of possible price drops, and who knows when that price returns to the present value could be a month, a year , or more. Those who sell at risk for big profit losses if the bitcoin price after the activation of this segwit skyrocketed. Nothing is safe. But do you think it's good, if we keep the bitcoin for now, and when the price goes up to a certain point, then immediately we sell it, to anticipate the follow-up drop?
669  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next week, is that the last chance? on: July 29, 2017, 03:59:48 AM
Well the best time to buy was a week back when bitcoin dropped as low to 2K and stayed there for around 1 or 2 days. Now bitcoin has recovered and is just floating around at the 2.7-2.8K price range. You missed your chance to get cheap bitcoin unfortunately and I don't think there will be a chance for you to get bitcoin for that price anytime soon.
There is a high chance of bitcoin taking a trip to the moon after August the first, especially with the possibility of the hard fork becoming less and all the FUD being spread has died down. Future seems to be promising.
I think still good to buy bitcoins even the price right now is high because there are times that the price of bitcoin can be increase more like the other speculation that the price can be increase until $3k plus that i think it can be happen after segwit activation.. or after august 1.
That is why the price of bitcoin right now is high due to demand and more people are investing in bitcoin because they know what will happen after segwit..  And if you the one who bought bitcoin with below $2k value you already made a large amount of profit and if you wait more time you can make more profit just don't safe your bitcoin in exchange site and use a wallet which is you can full control your private keys..

I have noticed the price movement on bitcoin, especially since 21 july yesterday, ie since bip91 signaling to star. Do we still need to pay attention to some dates in august like on the https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/countdown-segwit-these-are-dates-keep-eye/ discourse, is it really unlikely to happen drop as just happened To touch below $ 2k.
670  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next week, is that the last chance? on: July 29, 2017, 01:52:22 AM
Last chance of what? If you had been keeping track of bitcoin ever since it started, you can tell how strong willed bitcoin is and if it falls down it always climbs back so I don't think this is the last chance even if SegWit will be activated or even if bitcoin is splitting. But we will never know also not until August 1 will pass, so we'll wait for just a few more days until August 1 and be prepared.
It is a good entry point for us when the price goes low. Last week we witnessed that crash and some grabbed that opportunity to gather more coins at a lower price. As we approach August 1st, some are still hoping for a major decrease so that they can get more coins with such a low price. With a split on the line, it might decrease but who knows.

It is not the last drop and some drops will happen in the future. It is best to monitor the market. A good point of entry will open up, that is certain.

Yes, we know what happened to bitcoin in the past, at the end of 2013 bitcoin jumped to the price of $ 1k, until finally fall back at the point $ 100, and took two years to be able to restore the price. Two years is not a short time for a trader. Because of that we can not mess around in determining our entry point if you want to invest in bitcoin, we must be ready with all possibilities.
671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is amazing. But... on: July 29, 2017, 01:31:04 AM
I don't think Chinese governments will turn off internet, if they turn it off their technology will fall behind and their economic will be affected, if the Chinese government banned Bitcoin and the miner can't work from China then we still have a lot miners from all over the world

Indeed, we all know that the Chinese population is scattered in almost all corners of the world, as well as its products and technology, because of the density of the people in their country, migration becomes an option to overcome the problem. Blocking internet access to worldwide? Where do you get this news, I think it is very unlikely, as said by the members above, this will greatly affect the economic and technological developments in china, while their dream is to dominate the economy and technology in the world. Not a few investors who entrust their money to bitcoin, Miner scattered everywhere in China. And the government is unlikely to ignore it all.
672  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any good Bitcoin games around? on: July 29, 2017, 01:17:36 AM
I'm looking for fun games where you can earn Bitcoin or use it within the game. Can you recommend me a list of BTC games that are fun and addicting? Just want to know the list of BTC games that are available as I'm going to use them as an introductory point to teach and attract new people towards Bitcoin at my place.  Smiley
You've got a lot of references, whether the target person you're going to introduce with bitcoin is the kids, because if it is, it's a very good idea to introduce kids about bitcoin, starting with what they love about games. But if your target is for adults, I think they'll calculate what games they get with the time they spend on it, so it's not a good idea to introduce them to adults through games.

673  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next week, is that the last chance? on: July 28, 2017, 11:02:09 AM
I think there is still chance to make profit, some people still not sure about bitcoin future, but since the announcement that there will be no forking, the price has slowly recover, I think it will be a good chance to buy and hold, the price will slowly going up after August

We se it now,  the price is climb up, is this a beginning for what most of people hope. The rise of bitcoin after august 1. But there still three more days , and everything could happen, in this moment people are wondering, whats best to do with their investment on bitcoin.
674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: July 28, 2017, 09:54:16 AM
thats nice if one can withdraw money from a bitcoin debit card.
anyone here knows a good bitcoin debit card? How can we get one?

AdvCash Prepaid Card: http://advcash.com/
BIT-X Debit Card: https://card.bit-x.com/
WageCan Debit Card: https://www.wagecan.com/DebitCardInfo

Do you use any of these? Do you have any bad experiences with them? Are there monthly fees required?

AdvCash:

WageCan:

BIT-X:

This is the information I am waiting for, I want to compare what service charge will be charged if we can use bitcoin like debit card. And it turns out this is it, we can also see the monthly taxes, transaction fees, the cost of changing the card and so on, of course it's all for this service provider. Is to make this card, they must work with Master card or visa, or maybe the like ?. Is it possible for those who make it themselves.  Huh Huh
675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10 ETH or 1 BTC? on: July 28, 2017, 08:27:29 AM
With $3000 to invest, is there any advantages to either, with the expectations/hopes that they both will continue to grow?  Just trying to see what others would do, as I plan to let this initial investment sit for 5yrs minimum in a cold wallet.

Thanks ladies and gents!
If i do have that money to put on then i would really go for Bitcoin when we do speak about 5 years harvest time then btc would be a good choice but if you are on doubts then you can divide your money and go for eth too so that you do have both coins specially for long term but dont really expect too much since no one would really know on what would happen on next 5 years. Its either you would smile for profits or would grudge on the money you lose on those coin when they already tend to dump on those years but its a really hard thing to believe for these two coins to dump on those days.I would rather believe they did already reach new all time highs compared as of todays price.
Bitcoin is the main Crypto-Currency, the best one. Some people like to invest in ETH or diversify funds among different currencies, but I personally would prefer for now to put all my tickets in BTC. The price will probably increase a lot in few months (who knows, maybe 50%-100%), I'm not sure if ETH has the same potential... I don't think so.

1 BTC worth much more than 10 or even 100 ETH.  Cheesy

Especially because you want to put it into a cold wallet for at least 5 years, BTC potential is huge on long term.

I agree, choose BTC for long term, did U know how much time that btc need to gain this present price? I dont think other crypto could do the same. BTC is limited, and more and more people are using it, so the price will climb as more people use it. So dont doubt your self. everyone know the cryptoss market are fluctuate, be it bitcoin or ethereum. but thats how the cryptoss work.
676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase won't be supporting Bitcoin Cash on: July 28, 2017, 05:52:17 AM
I wonder what they'll actually be doing with the Bitcoin Cash, internally. Sell them? Hold?

Publicly, they're saying they won't have any. They're making an all or nothing play on Bitcoin. But any wise business wouldn't make a single bet that could turn them under.

Coinbase owns wallets and private keys. If BCC succeeds they've committed to paying out the lessor value BTC while profiting off the higher value BCC that they'll be able to acquire with their assets under management. Any withdrawals post Aug. 1st will have to be in BTC and will be easy to fund with the spread between a soaring BCC and declining BTC.

And if BTC remains dominant they continue on as they ahve for the last several years.

Fucking brilliant!

(and complete speculation on my part)

its a good news and also very briliant strategy, that's the business world. This news could be the trigger of bitcoin users to keep entrust their investment. I as a user can only wait for what will happen before and after August 1, my choice is to continue to believe in bitcoin despite various issues and speculations hit.
677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable on: July 28, 2017, 05:25:34 AM
bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable.

currency should be more stable.

you may reply me. currency is not stable also but you should think

USD currency price is up and down 1-2% in 1 month.

bitcoin price is up and down 20% in 1 month.

what will people think if they just change USD to bitcoin then their money down 10% in 10 minutes?

bitcoin can become stock but cannot become currency

I think not just because the price is not stable,  but because its decentralized too. for a limit of bitcoin that only about 21 m, Imagine, if bitcoin is used as currency, the price will climb the moon, because As more and more people use it, with its limit, of course the price will be pegged up, fortunately, bitcoin can be divided into eight digits. But it also makes the bitcoin value unstable, as it increases and decreases the user of the bitcoin itself. Not to mention, the number of bitcoin every year is reduced due to missing and others. I think bitcoin can be used as a facility that makes it easy to transact between countries because it is peer to peer, but not to be a currency.
678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why BTC-E users will not get their money back on: July 28, 2017, 01:24:28 AM
Did not know btc-e had fallen. That's a big down. Seems like no site is 100% safe in bitcoin and everything can go like the wind by tomorrow. Best is not having all the eggs in one and the same basket, as always.

thats right, this is not the first time the btc company had fallen, all we need to do is to learn how to anticipate all the possibility that will happen to our btc by keep it to save place. there's a lot of topic that explain how to keep your btc safe ini this forum. We know the risk of investring our money in bitcoin, and we now bitcoin have many trials since the first time. and we still believe that bitcoin would be the future of currency in the world.
679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Well, well now it is clear that Bitcoin is traceable. on: July 27, 2017, 04:53:34 AM
Whether larger blocks can guarantee our transactions can not be traced? As you said above, that "8 mb blocks as in Bitcoin Cash will probably be untraceable at all", you say probably. So in fact you're not sure yet and there's no basis to say that 8 MB block is untraceable, right? So, please explain a little, why we should choose and support larger blocks.
680  Economy / Speculation / Re: Any Predictions for Bitcoin 1 August on: July 27, 2017, 12:52:36 AM
Everyone can not predict exactly how bitcoin price movements are. But there is some news stating that bitcoin prices are falling and there are some also saying that bitcoin prices are rising. This is a matter of course after the 1st of August.
Hi Guys,
I would like to her from the community what they think will happen to the Bitcoin price 1 August?
I'm sure this is a question on a lot of peoples lips! Even though the fork might not realise.
Please share your thoughts on the matter and let see who where correct when we reach 1 August. Grin

Maybe this is the thousandth time I see this kind of discourse, comments and opinions are the same, but it never hurts to argue and see the results a few more days, to see who is right. For people who believe in bitcoin, August 1 is just a day to be passed like an ordinary day, they believe and keep it in a safe place for a long term, unlike those who hesitate and always hear what people say, of course moments like this Is an astonishing moment for them, they have to sell in a lot of bad news, and buy when a lot of good news, consequently the market value is fickle, probably the result of the elements.
