661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Discussion Thread on: July 04, 2022, 03:29:06 PM
Rivers United are very consistent in good performance,  they deserve victory.

Rivers United won the league even with many games to go. That is the way to do it like a champion. As for Heartland FC who are still in relegation region, they won their match with Sunshine Stars on Saturday by a lone goal but the players had to trek down to their various homes as there was no diesel to power the team's official bus to take the players back home. Heartland FC has become a laughing stock. It is a shame that the Heartland administrators are treating the players that way. Players are owed salaries and are forced to play on empty stomach.

This is exactly what I've been telling the so called OBIdient supporters on social media that election are not won online.
Why is this becoming a recurrent phrase, of course everyone knows that elections are not won online, but social media (online) is also a great/powerful tool to create awareness and to sensitize people about issues like this, and i see no wrong that Labour Party supporters are making good use of it, if it was the other way round i guess some people will be fine by it.

Senior man Coyster, you don talk everything finish. The way weh BAT supporters take deh advise Obidient fans on the use of social media go show you say fear deh them body. They know say na PO be the movement now. Even Kwankwaso weh they brag too know say without PO him no deh go anywhere. The way they advise PO supporters come make am look like say them no deh use social media themselves. They talk about structure. What is structure if no be the corruption weh we deh pass through for their hands.

It's too early for the bear market to be over, I am saying this because many think we have hit the bottom when ethereum made it to 900$, its not over and you shouldn't be buying coins with all you have, this is a fake out recovery.
I'm not sure $900 is the bottom. Now investors will be given new hope for growth, and then there will be a new price dump to $500 or a little lower.
Until the whales have most of the coins, there will be no new pamp.

You put your own comment inside the quote of Ketesnuko. I know it is a mistake as I already know you as an established member.

It's too early for the bear market to be over, I am saying this because many think we have hit the bottom when ethereum made it to 900$, its not over and you shouldn't be buying coins with all you have, this is a fake out recovery.

At what point do you think the market will be ripe to buy altcoins then? If you think we have not made it to the bottom, it means you have a point you think will be the bottom. Can you share that with us because I want to buy too with minimised risk. If Ethereum price ever goes to the $500 that zasad@ is speculating the market will be on real fire. Alot of people will freak out.
665  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you struggle learning about bitcoin? on: June 28, 2022, 05:24:42 PM
Well I know you feel ashamed based on your merited Rank, but there is no shame in seeking knowledge.

That is not the reason I feel ashamed. It is not about my merited rank. If we are talking about rank, am supposed to be a legendary rank from the activities I have acquired. Am concerned and worried because of the length of time I have known about bitcoin but yet am finding it hard to fully understand it. But now that I know am not the only old member who is still finding bitcoin difficult to understand I feel relieved that am not a dullard.

Thank you CryptopreneurBrainboss. Though it did not last long  but I enjoyed my time with you on that. You are an exceptional manager. Keep it up. I hope for more campaigns from you.
668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: AFCON 2023 qualifiers. on: June 22, 2022, 07:49:36 AM
Their matches do not give me any joy, instead it causes me stress and my blood pressure to rise.
When it comes to watching the Super Eagles games, I believe a high percentage of the fans are tired of given their time and devotion to games that turn out to bring heart break and anger to them. It always ends in premium tears watching the super eagles games.

That means am not the only one who has discovered that the Super Eagles of Nigeria no longer show a winning mentality on the pitch of play. There is nothing they want to play for again. No pride to defend Nigeria's football integrity. Nothing whatsoever. They already think themselves millionaires doing the country a favour by playing. The days of Christian Chukwu, Rasheed Yekini, Daniel Omokachi, Finidi and the rest of the Atlanta 96 squad were the glory days of Nigeria football. Big footballing countries panicked to even play the Super Eagles but that is not so any more now. It does not matter the coach they bring in, the boys continue to feel too big bringing out their legs. It is the mentality of the players and that has to change. I like how Samuel Eto is sounding the warning to members of the Cameroon team that they should sit up or leave the team. And I think Nigeria should do the same.
669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coins bring a lot of big profits on: June 22, 2022, 07:27:52 AM
What are your goals when investing in new coins? Did you get a huge profit from the new coins? Can you recommend a new coin worth investing besides LUNA?

Looks like it's time for us to stop talking about Terra (LUNA) who has messed up the crypto space. Whatever choice of new coins you want to invest is up to you, but don't dabble with Terra (LUNA).

Why not talk about it? Luna is not the worst of all the coins that have disappointed investors. Go and read about cryptocurrency history and you will see alot of them that started very well as nice projects but later died off after they pulled their scam. Alot of them were listed on big exchanges like Luna and some on their own exchanges but today we can not find them anywhere to trade. At least we still can trade Luna. It has not finally disappeared.
670  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: June 22, 2022, 06:53:47 AM
Fuel dom climb 200 from 165 we dem see am, diesel dom leave 300 naira enter 850

Na only that one we deh even talk? Add kerosene price join too. And no be better one them deh even sell for filling stations self. You go see kerosene, you go deh ask yourself if na diesel. Most filling stations no even deh sell kerosene again self.

Wetin reach like that. Nothing concern you with who person vote. How many you fit keep malice. Abeg make he be say you dey joke cause he no go make sense if you really do that kind thing to someone.

My brother, no be malice o. I know say nothing concern me with who anybody want to vote in but e go concern me to make people receive sense if them do the wrong things. You no go expect to get help from someone weh you disobey like that. If person show you road and you say you no want follow that road, you no get any right to call the person to come trace you out. Take for instance, you try convince someone weh no get work to enter here and begin find small small thing but them refuse bluntly and then them begin ask you for cash a few months later. How you go feel?
671  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Biden resorts to negotiations with Putin on: June 22, 2022, 06:17:50 AM
The strength of the US in all of Biden's activity remains... well, not so good.

This war is Biden's first real challenge as a president and am sure he is not finding it easy making cabinet decisions around it. It is exposing his ineffectiveness as president. Maybe that is what Americans want in their president.

The best bet for peace now is negotiation and compromise. This war has no victor or vanquished and would never have, peace is what we need now.

What will the negotiations for peace achieve after the two countries have destroyed themselves for months eventhough that is what should have prevented the war starting the first time at all. Putin is the aggressor here and I see him feeling shocked and challenged already by someone he feels is a minor.
672  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: June 22, 2022, 05:23:01 AM
Everybody finally get e right to support any candidate of e choice, whether e dey old or young.

Na true say everybody get right to vote who them like but my brother time don reach when anybody weh come meet me for urgent 2k after the election go first tell me who him vote before I go even listen to am. And if I know say him follow for people weh deh scream BAT BAT now, e go hard to give o. People get to receive sense by force. See as the thing deh hot now for everybody pocket. Dollar don do sprint enter N615 like play like play. How we want take survive another onslaught by another old and sick man if we no wake up now. Make them continue. The kind hunger weh deh ground now no even know big man again. Una see as people convert them jeeps to uber, that one na small thing if we no get am right again.
673  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: June 21, 2022, 08:13:14 PM
The suffering of today na from the mistake of 2011. Make we shine eye this time to know wetin we deh do. Na face we deh look vote now, no be party.

If we don listen to Tinubu when him be Lagos state governor (before fashola ) and Tinubu of today, we go see say if him enta na gota wey the country go pack because him just dey fall for ground anyhow for gathering like the one I see for online.

The matter tire me well well. I no know wetin ti call am, whether na out of selfishness or ignorance make people still deh support Tinubu to rule us as them deh see how frail and senile weh the man deh look. Nothing weh we no go do for money for this country self. Whether them want make Tinubu die on top that seat. God go forbid all of them.

About that our brother, him still deh active as I see new posts weh him make today. I hope say him go don correct him mistake by now.

a similar discussion that might interest you, and deals with the reasons for the rules of signature campaigns, you can follow here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5402118.0

Thank you for the link. That is helpful. I appreciate your comment with a merit.
675  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for signature campaign 👀 on: June 21, 2022, 01:40:16 PM
I would say that yahoo62278 is the only one that opens the signature campaigns where member rank users are also welcome.

But why is Yahoo62278 the only manager who does that. Why are other managers not doing so to give member ranks an opportunity into their campaigns? These managers can negotiate that too with the companies they are managing and encourage them to allow Member rank because we still have those in the member rank who are good posters too.
676  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Facebook free speech is dead it's time we move to non US social networks on: June 21, 2022, 01:14:55 PM
Most popular social media is annoying though as paid content gets boosted

As long as those contents get boosted and Facebook gets paid upfront for them, Brother Mark is cool with that. This is such a worrying development to see where a country that boasts itself as the world center for democracy and free speech is hosting the most popular social media platform that restricts free speech. This is a big contradiction. We sacrifice our privacy in the name of making use of Facebook and yet we can hardly express our thoughts without the fear of getting banned.
677  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: June 21, 2022, 07:47:07 AM
Abeg o who be this Bright weh them ban? You fit to put the user name complete make we know.

678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you ready to buy/sell for bitcoins now? on: June 21, 2022, 07:26:59 AM
I'm selling everything for Bitcoin.

Basically, there's no object in my life that wouldn't be traded for Bitcoin at the right price.  I'm ready to live that Jedi life over here.

Your donator status in the forum says it all. You are one of the early adopters and you are still keeping the support for bitcoin. Keep it up.

On my own, am doing the little I can do to save up the little I can in bitcoin. My problem is that I hardly can save enough.
679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: AFCON 2023 qualifiers. on: June 20, 2022, 08:26:48 PM
Their matches do not give me any joy, instead it causes me stress and my blood pressure to rise.

You should pick interest back in watching the Super eagle play though as we missing out of the World cup could be a good thing as it gives the coach time to build the team he wants.

Let them keep playing, and doing it well also. I know with time I can go back to watching them. I did not stop watching them because they were not winning games but because of their lack of seriousness on the field of play. I hate people not taking what they do serious.

Even though i am not nigerian but i was really disapointed from their result in the last african cup of nations

Nigeria's outing at the AFCON is enough to disappoint anyone who loves the Super Eagles of Nigeria. The team disappointed when it was time to come to the party. And after that, the Eagles messed up their qualifiers in the second leg with Ghana for the world cup in Qatar.
